arite its a good looking game i am personally a PC gamer only and i am a graphics whore too. but i wouldnt say it blows crysis or metro out of the water. all of them are great looking games.

Defintely a great time to be a PC gamer. I recently purchased Shogun 2 that game looks and playa amazing as well. Dont have time to finish all what i bought lol.
This and portal 2 are the best games out this year, anyone not getting these is definetly missing out.
PC is having an awesome year for games.
Its a DX 11 title, however it will still look great running on your GPU.
plus its a good thing the game is designed with future hardware, when you decide to upgrade u will see a better looking game ;-)
You should run fine on high settings.
GTX 560 is great in that range and very overclockable.

Let us know when a console exclusive gets a low score. in most cases evne if the game is crap and a rehash it will always get a high score.
They know kids always want a high meta to brag about the platform they support.
PC exclusive devs like CD projekt dont really have the muscle or the budget that Sony or MS devs have to hype a exclusive or to pay of reviewers for good reviews.

When a game makes it to console, the console makers pay for high reviews. This ensures high sales, note how most console releases get 9's even if its a garbage game u will hardly see scores below 7.
Pc versions of the same games on console also score lower. Even though they are the superior versions. Fact is there is no one actively trying to promote the PC platform hence most reviewers are open to give PC exclusive games what ever score t...
Those figures dont include Digital Sales, Pc version Sold as well as consoles, also PC version had more people playing then any conosle, this is confirmed by Dice.

Why would you want to be pay 60usd on the PS3 when you could have bought it on pc for 36usd.
You dont need a great computer to play games maxed out, a good computer costing 600-700usd will do fine. In the long run due to cheaper games it will be cheaper then owning a console.
PS3 or xbox 360 never touched high end PCs, 8800gtx was out before the PS3 was out. Even today 8800GTX will out perform PS3 in every game out there. It plays most of the games out in 1080p, while PS3 would be lucky to play even 5% of its games library in 1080p.
For next gen expect consoles to be even further behind there are afew reasons for this:

Well i bought it on Steam too, cant download it yet. I just like all my games to be at Steam due to ease of use in the future.
CD Projekt have a strong GOTY contender on their hands. This is awesome for a small company such as them.
This awesome, many games on my wishlist i would grab in a heart beat if they went on sale :)

You could easily make a PC for 600-700GBP that will run everything in ultra. Spending anything above that is only optional.
You can literally get a high end rig for free after 5 years of gaming considering the game price differences.
X58 is old now no point getting it. Save your money and go for a sandybridge system that will cost you cheaper and run circles around X58 based system.
I would instead get a I7 2500k or a 2600K overclock them to 4500mhz and call it a day. Unless you wanna go for a X58 and load it up with a 980X or 990x CPU though that will be a complete waste and the only gain u will notice when doing video editing or professional level stuff.
Agreed pick up witcher 2 its an awesome game. If ya like it you can always go back to playing witcher 1 it only costs 5 usd now on GOG. Also you can play witcher 1 with hi res texture mod. the game looks better then most rpgs out today with mods.
