A single mario game will outsell all the games you mentioned combined.
In the end nintendo will be profitable. Cant say the same for Sony, consider the development costs for all those games. Couple that with poor sales and we know why PSP2 has been delayed so far.
PC software games sales are up year on year. 2009 was 3% higher then 2008. While console sales look to be falling year on year 2009 9% lower then 2008, 2010 so far behind 2009. While asides nintendo both the console makers aka Sony and Microsoft are in huge losses.
If there is a recession it should hit the PC as well. Hardware sales of topend gpus has been going very well. Infact AMD reported their fabs have been running at max capacity ever since the launch of the 5000seri...
Recently played Maxpayne 2 on PC. Thats a 2003 game. The character detail on this game looks about the same as Maxpayne2.

3D didnt just come out. Its been out for while now. PC has over 300 3D titles in its library.
You should word it "3D just came out on CONSOLES".
Check the records, PS2 was profitable in its 2nd year after launch. Infact PS2 was doing so well while the rest of the company was struggling due to intense competition in the other electronic markets.
PS3 in its 4th year is causing the entire company to run in losses.
check the financials report. Last year alone was at 850+million usd loss. Which led the company o make a overall net loss of 450million usd, thats more money then most people will be making in alife time.
Its still a loss making project for Sony. Infact for the last two years the gaming division has been pulling the entire company into losses.
While mouse and keyboard have an edge on FPS games. I wouldnt dare think of playing an rts with anything asides a Keyboard mouse, too many hotkeys and accuracy of a mouse just cant be beaten.

its more like wii is a kia, xbox ps3 being the honda. PC being anywhere between honda and Ferrari.
Nintendo is also the only Console maker making a good profit.
Both Microsoft and Sony are deep in the red. The only winner this gen has been Nintendo, i am sure the other two would love to swap places with them.

Everyone has a PC at home, atleast they would consider having a PC way before purchasing a console. Since a PC is almost required at home these days.
If its anything like a 2-3yr old dual core. then all it needs is a 100usd gpu to beat any console. While doing 1080p in 95% of the games out there. Unless a game is really very demanding or its been very badly programmed this setu...
On the contrary PC gaming is on a rise. 13.1billion use last year in software sales. unfortanately its not tracked since most of it is digital.
Now console gaming on the other hand is on a decline. check the records, 2009 was worse then 2008, 2010 is so far worse then 2009.

PC doesnt need some money grubbing companies looking to make a tax per game to promote it, that stuffs for consoles.
PC's always been the peoples platform. Its the Community that supports it.
I wouldnt do it on a console. SSDS need trim to maintain write performance. How will a console send the Trim command?

Ps3's exclusives like uncharted, GOW or KZ dont run in 1080p. Move doesnt add any horse power to the PS3.
What makes you think you will see games running at 1080p all of a sudden? unless they arent pushing the hardware at all?

Since wiimote and DS3 already work, no reason to disagree that the Move will follow. But as Conloles said, since mouse is the most accurate aiming device Move will be a gimmick in comparison.
