Dam thats an insane setup, though only good for people who can use those cores. For most users 4 cores are already enough, most games only use 2 cores. In which case a Sandybridge @ 4.5ghz would still be faster.
Well 990x is only good if you are doing professional stuff like video editing, games dont really use more then 2 cores, 4 cores at max. Sandybridge will outperform 990x in games, and when it comes to professional stuff its only in applications that are highly multithreaded will the 990x win.
Right now the best bang for the buck is to go for a 2500k or 2600k overclock it to 4.5ghz. equip it with 2x 6950 (biosed to 6970 speeds). that would be an insane setup and would beat this...

PC sales do not include digital copies, so its share might be as big as the PS3.
Just read the steam forums many people are not buying the game. I think it will be another bargain bin pick up many of those this year.
PC gamers have other awesome games to play then to pick up this game. Been so busy playing Shogun 2, witcher 2 while playing MP games like l4d2, TF2, warcraft 3 dont really have time for anything else.

With DA origins they made a true PC game and it sold well. Both the PC crowd and Console crowd enjoyed it. Sure it was more complex on PC. However that way both the communities were happy.
This is exactly what the developers should be doing. Making the game primarily for PC, then porting it to consoles stripping it down if required.
You would think that they would be taking notes from Biowares release of DA 2, It sold terribally because it was dumbed down. Ignoring the core market just to cater more people wont bring the sales they are hoping for.

Lol you do realise MLAA is the worst form of AA, its not even real AA, its just a Blur effect which causes images to look less jaggied, in the end the game looks blurry over all.

Not really, the only reason Sony themselves didnt add a second Cell to the PS3 and instead vouched for a GPU was because they knew Cell wouldnt stand a chance against a GPU.
SLI scales pretty badly after 2 GPUs. 4850 in todays time is pretty out dated and would lose out to even low end GPUs.
Sure it may be pretty powerful for a home console, in PC terms its pretty weak.

I personally have 580GTX in sli on 3 screens mate. Each gpu has 1.5gb memory. However its not enough when i want to run a game in 5760*1080 with anything above 4x AA.
Due to Nvidias architecture they may only use 1.5gigs or jump to 3gigs per gpu.
For a card like this 1.5gig per gpu (3gig overall) isnt really enough. 3 Gig per gpu is whats really needed for a GPU like this (6 gig overall) if the buyer really is thinking about multiscreen gaming and money is n...
People buying these would like to play on multiple monitors. I would say they would have to load up these with 6 gigs of ram atleast, 3gb ram on each GPU so it can handle resolutions like 5760*1080 with ultra textures and 4x-8x AA.
Imagine having 2 of those in SLI, 12GBs of video ram rofl.
Depends what resolutions and settings they ran the PC version at. Did they dumb the PC version down to console resolutions? what other ingame settings did they keep for the PC we need to know all of that.
Its also not just about the graphics PC is the only version that can run in 60fps and also costs 15usd cheaper.
Edit: just saw the video they are running the PC version at 720p thats not fair, also you cannot really tell the differences on such a small video...

Playstation 2 made it to profitability in its 2nd year. Playstation 3 is currently in its 5th year and still in the red. There is a big difference between the 2. We are almost into the time frame where a new gen needs to start already.

Of course Vgchartz doesnt count the DD sales for PC however we can see even on STeam the game is no longer in the top sellers.
