Any gaming PC made in the last 3-4 years can run Crysis 2 maxed out at much smoother fps then the PS3 ever can.

I would estimate Pc digital sales at 80%. If we use last years figures as a benchmark steam alone sold near 1 billion usd add in the rest of the dd market and that figure may jump to 1.5billion usd. Retail in comparison was only 500 million usd. Which would put retail at 25% and dd market at 75%. Since NPD and VGcharts don't consider DD they are ignoring a major chunk of the pc market sales.

Did you even read my post, Crysis 1 sold 3 million which isnt bad at all. Its as good as most console exclusives. Crysis warhead a game they relesed as expansion pack that too sold 1.5million, thats a very good total for a new IP.
Also remember unlike console where millions of USD are used to advertise then pay royalty to Microsoft and Sony, nothing like that exists on PC. Lastly most of the copies sold on PC were digital which are much more profitable then getting the same...

Obviously it was a PC exclusive which is now running at lower settings then the previous game. Hell this one doesnt even support proper AA, a feature PC gamers have been using since the last decade.

Crysis 1 Sold 3.5m units on PC as of may 2010, so must be nearly 4m by now. Thing is Crysis 1 was a graphical benchmark. Even if some PC gamers didnt like the game they still bought it for benchmarking purposes. Hence the game sold very well.

Clearly shows you have no idea what you are talking about. 4 yr old PCs easily outperform what ever a console can do, and no they dont need updates since they are more powerful then console to begin with, just like consoles dont need a upgrade every year.
