again mate you are comparing an MG to a baseball bat then complaining about the price. 500usd PC outperforms consoles. if you are happy with the performance a 300usd console delivers then there should be no reason to complain about the PC, since a 500usd PC of today will max out almost any game. Most of the AAA games are out on the PC.
Liking the console because of its exclusives is another matter. PC has its exclusives too.
Well you shouldnt be complaining in that case. Since a PC at 500usd wont be marginally better, in fact it will max out any of this generations games. If you are not happy with a 500usd maxing out games then there is no way a console will keep you happy with far sub par graphics.

Well it doesnt take a high end PC to out perform the PS3.. a dual core is more then enough. so remind me again why is the PC crappy all of a sudden when its above the level of PS3 game play?
sure you could go all out and get a 1000usd or 2000usd PC, however even while being economic PC is still superior to any console.
I could link you to a 500usd PC that will run circles around the ps3. 800usd is a lot.

Have to correct you there. MW2 on console runs in Sub HD, i think its 620p. In fact i dont think there is any First Person shooter on console that runs in 1080 and 60fps. Its probably due to console hardware limitations.
PS3 didnt perfect FPS, RTS or the MMO genre those are still best on PC.
Yes it does have a few nice exclusives, other platforms do too. PC is still the ultimate gaming platform IMO.
Well MW2 looks like WaW, which looks just like MW1. There are no graphics improvements in the last 4 years.
TF2 will still be my FPS of choice, these milkfests will never compare.
Thats not much compared to the losses they have incurred.
People who dish the mouse are usually those who started playing FPS with a control pad and have no idea what they are missing out on. There simply is no comparison, the couple of times i have tried to play an FPS game with a controller it has felt like being handicapped. I tried it because we wanted to play L4d2 splitscreen on PC.

Microsoft promotes Xbox 360 as an HD console, if its being sold as an HD console then it should play the games in HD as well. Why Market it as HD when it wont play many of its AAA exclusives in HD?
5 years is along time when it comes to tech, if it cant play many of its current exclusives in HD, then why mislead people into thinking its got enough juice to run another 5 years?

Sony made an overall loss of 436million usd as Bucky posted.
However it was the gaming division that dragged them into the loss. The gaming division lost around 850million usd this includes PS2, PS3 and PSP and all the software sales etc.
Due to the gaming division the entire company was dragged into an over all loss of 436million usd.
