SC2 was good. But i still find myself going back to Warcraft 3. If they do charge full RRP for the other iterations they wont be getting my money either.

60usd per year, every year ends up being alot of money in 5 years time.
Its like the Price of an entire console or a high end PC GPU for that matter.
Thats a good launch. This game probably will sell for a long while. Expect it to go above 10million atleast.
It should come as a lesson to devs out there, when a good game is made on PC. It does sell very well.

Lets put it this way anything to do with Intel and Graphics is just crap. A 75usd desktop GPU will usually outperfrom it by miles.
Agreed it goes both ways. However even if you put a dual core behind a 5970 it will still play most of todays games at 1080p 95% of them.
Now equip an I7 with an intel integrated gpu and watch the system crawl.
Point being GPU is the driving force behind the system and if that is ignored the system just wont perform.
Alienware is just hype mate. If you want to build a rig make it yourself. Even for laptops i would go with Sager, MSI or Asus over Alienware anyday.
People often get fooled into the Ghz game. This applies to Laptops and Desktops. The GPU is the most essential part when it comes to gaming. An intel integrated GPU is enough to bring the latest and greatest I7 machine to its knees when playing games.
Except they didnt make tonnes of money on the Xbox. Instead they lost money on the Xbox. Just like Sony lost on the PS3. Both of them are losses of around 5billion usd.
Now the generation is almost at the point where they need to announce the next console and be ready to make more losses. Except both the console makers are in deep losses from the current gen, hence its a tough situation to be in for Microsoft or Sony.
Valve just didnt see it worth their while to develop for the PS3, however now since the PS3 has a larger base, it probably is worth Valves time. Its no reason for PS3 users to flame Valve at every opportunity.
Consoles start of with a small base every generation. Same will happen with the next playstation, Devs may not be interested in developing for the platform due to smaller base. Until it grows up and becomes worth their while.
Its an awesome game, been topping the Steam charts since it released. Runs great even on 3-4yr old hardware.
Havent played Dragon age in a while, but it was an awesome game. I still have to play though Awakening has been sitting in my Steam list since the last discount and i will be getting the witch hunt DLC, that will be awesome.
12GB is an overkill. I been on 6gb since the last 2 years, hasnt been an application yet which demands more ram.
I wonder why anyone would pay to go online when services like Steam are available.

Had been playing World of wacraft until recently. Games definetly last the longest on the PC platform, I surely forsee myself playing TF2 5 years from now, cant say that with any console. Since as 8800gtx mentioned Console network support might just be discontinued for the next machine.
Its been a very bad trend this generation, with DLC after DLC planned for a game.
No company would ever say anything bad against their own product.
This gpu right here would beat the PS3 or the xbox 360 many times over in any 3D game unless the game has been very badly optimized for the PC:

As a long time WoW player and having played some Warhammer online. I just dont see how anything can replace mouse keyboard for MMO play.
When playing an MMO, voice chat cant be soley relied on. Text chat is also very important as strong communication is required when playing an MMO. Specially when 40 people are in a raid. It would be havoc without text chat which only keyboard can offer. Essentially Texting and voice chat compliment each other.

Well the games are 10-20usd cheaper on the PC too. While on the Xbox we have no gaurantee all the games bought this gen will work on the next box. With PC its 99% gauranteed to work.
In the end paying 60usd a year then paying extra on every game adds up very quickly.
