Still you cant deny its the longest lasting gaming platorm on the market. Current gen consoles will be long gone, PC will keep ticking.
BTW good luck playing any of your current bought games next gen. While PC gamers will be having a large library built up.
Any midrange PC user of today has no need to look at specs required to play 95% of the games out there. Most games out today are multiplat. Consoles are the lowest denominator those games must work on and since even entry level pc hardware of todays is much more advanced then that is in consoles, looking at specs has become a thing of the past.

I dont know what to tell you dude, but my 11 year old brother games on PC and finds it better then consoles. All he has to do is slide all settings to max when i buy him a new game over steam, rather its so convienient for me that i dont have to go over to his place get him to a mall and buy him a game(which would be the case if he played on console). Everything runs maxed out (his rigs running on 2-3year old parts which i gave him).

Well i am not supporting the 360 version here. The only HD version here is on the PC.
Claiming Any other platform asides the PC is the flagship experience is plainly deluding the consumer base.

Lol Sony has a habit of lying to their users. Microsoft is no better. Though claiming Black ops to have the "flagship experience" is an out right lie. The game isnt even HD on the PS3.
Its the PC version thats the flagship experience with the:
1080p and beyond graphics. Dedicated servers, Mods etc.
Remember when Sony promised toystory graphics with the PS2, then got caught with their pants down because they couldnt deliver.

I simply said people dont keep talking about the same hardware in the PC industry. Its been 4 years, we cant expect 8800gtx to be benchmarked on the current games. However for consoles its different PS3 and Xbox 360 will be talked about until the next consoles are out.

Unlike consoles things move on in the PC industry you cant expect websites to be benchmarking 4year old hardware today. That would be such a waste of resources.
However since the engines for all the COD series are the same we can expect very simular performance. If it was running MW1 @ 76FPS it will be running a Black Ops around that figure.

720p is the minimum HD standard. COD on consoles is running in 620p thats not HD.
There are bencharks out there showing 8800gtx running MW1 @1080p 60fps. Its the same engine same graphics. Dont think we can take your word over those benchmarks.

Hence limited yourself to p2p forever. If some people are having issues for an online game at launch due to traffic, these will be sorted out very shortly. Meanwhile P2P lag will never be sorted out.

People spend 1000+usd on HDTVs triple screen gaming is much more viable. I am currently gaming on 3 screens and i can tell ya its worth every penny and yea it also does come in very handy while i am working. Infact at times i cant work on my office laptop since triple has spoiled me.

That is freaking awesome. Sadly i dont understand why AMD and Nvidia have to support consoles at all. Its not like they get a huge chunk of business out of it. In 4-5 years time Xbox 360 + PS3 have only managed to sell 80million units combined. AMD alone last year sold 25million DX 11 GPUs, if games actually start making progress there may be some incentive for people to upgrade.
Consoles holding back progress will only ensure, people dont buy new CPUs, GPUs, RAM, Motherboa...
