Resistance is 720p mate, not 1080p. He mentioned there are no FPS games in 1080p which run at 30fps which is true.

Its not even a money issue, anyone beliving console gaming is actually cheaper is deluded. In the long run PC is always cheaper.
Its cheaper to start from in most cases since people already have PCs and just need a graphics card.

Didnt they just give us BC2 few months back. Releasing another FPS so soon is just ruining the market.
FPS is already a very over saturated genre if they keep this up the games wont sell well then they will end up blaming piracy.
Wii games actually run better on any mid range PC of today in full 1080p.
I would say PC is the ultimate gaming machine.
The first witcher sold over 2 million as a PC exclusive. Which is very good for a platform with no royalties or advertisement costs.
Make a great game and it will sell, adding a DRM will only cost them money and actually may end up harming sales.

Wrong again. 95% of the people on this forum already have PCs. To beat a console in term of games performance will only cost you 100usd gpu on top of your current PC(which if is any thing like 2-3years old will do fine).
Slightly higher resolution.. i dunno about you. but 2x the amount of pixels on screen, much higher AA and 60fps instead of 30 is alot of difference to me and the game being cheaper then the console ...
Console exclusives can only played on console just like PC exclusive can only be played on PC. There is no harm done in owning 1 or more platforms.

You should check out the PC release schedule if thats all you think the PC does have.

As of now the game is said to be having a PC release only. The first game was epic. Cant wait for this one.
Xbox live if anything has only changed Console gaming. Which as it is, is always playing catch up to the PC.

Steam has the largest collection of online games along with indie titles. Unlike XBLA or PSN steam actually gets all the games on release date and yea its free and has a huge community.
What makes Steam better then any of the services is its open platform and will continue to grow over time. While there will be new consoles out in the next few years and the entire community will reset on XBLA and PSN, Steam will carry on growing with no restart...
If they went consoles we would see Diablo 5 in the next 3 years. Cause thats how consoles work. Franchises get dumbed down, then they get milked.
As a gamer that is of no benefit to us. Look at all the generic FPS games on the market now, ever since FPS came to consoles. BC2 just got released and we already have MOH coming in, BF3 after it. Activision is doing the same with the COD series. Its called milking the market and destroying the franchises, really isnt of any benef...
Left4dead 2 does split screen on PC. Id say PC does every multiplat out there better then console. RTS and MMO aside.

1200GPB is a very high spec PC. i could make ya 400gbp machine that will outperform any console. lets not forget in the long run games on the PC are cheaper and PC does alot more to begin with.
Dont need a thousand dollar rig to play this game maxed out. 550usd rig will do just that. Saw the console version in comparison(saw PS3) PC version looks like a different game.
My laptop which has a GTX260 (slightly slower then a 8800gtx desktop gpu) plays the game at 40fps 1080p no AA everything else maxed out asides physics.
