But he's sooooo metal!
Regardless of what they chose, it seems awfully problematic to make a list of "Most Metal Games" when metal (like any kind of music) is so incredibly subjective. I mean, there are dozens of subgenres in metal, so many sounding different from others, that making a list about "most metal" games seems to focus on a single ideology of what metal is or what it's supposed to be.
Blood, steel and violence don't necessarily make metal, and Gametrailers rea...
A wise man once said: "The internet never forgets."
In response to your reply, don't worry, I see what you're saying and your examples hold water.
However, I think that we'll be seeing more of Nintendo's series in the big picture, especially if they're gonna be loaning out their licenses like they announced a few weeks ago. If Nintendo themselves won't do something, someone else will, while still benefiting Nintendo.
And I know that Other M was directly influenced by a third-party dev u...
Speaking from experience there, Adam?
"The future of the series is in jeopardy because of this stupid mess,"
Trust me, I am of the camp who believe Metroid Prime was infinitely better, but I have a hard time believing this statement. The reason is because people still love Metroid and they respect the series enough to make note of when a game from the series is bad, and trust me, the public spoke with Other M.
People are still clamoring for a new Metroid game. The series has demand from...
Geez, Pachter, you sure are taking a lot of shots at Sony today...
Travis Willingham is. He's also Roy Mustang from Fullmetal Alchemist.
I can definitely trust Booker Dewitt and Knuckles' opinions on this.
Seriously, though: this game looks crazy good. I was a big fan of the first two Infamous games, and I'm very eager to see how they approach the action-open-world vibe with new hardware.
Very excited!
I've seen videos of people playing songs like "Mary Had a Little Lamb" on those things. Hell, that old G4 show Cinematech showed a video of someone doing that. Did Kojima really think people wouldn't discover that?
I highly doubt that many people who use this site actively use microtransactions when they play their games. However, we are not the only demographic and that's the biggest issue.
There are a lot of people who would rather have some sort of competitive edge when playing a game like Forza 5, so they'll want to pick the easiest method of getting that edge, even if it costs them extra money.
As the author said, this is an act of conditioning by the publi...
As much as I dislike Flappy Bird, I honestly didn't expect him to decide on this, especially right now at the peak of its popularity.
Aren't they doing pretty well on first-party studios?
If it wasn't, it is now.
Big Red Button Entertainment is composed of Naughty Dog alumni. Considering the pedigree, that's "a proven developer" to me.
God, it's been more than a year and we're still on this whole DmC re-design thing? Give it a rest, already.
Sonic games usually sell well on Nintendo consoles. Why else would Sega sign an exclusivity deal with Nintendo for this franchise?
Is it weird that I read that in a George Takei voice?
OT: I agree. That's certainly an odd way to promote a game.
I think that the current cast is just right. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy and Eggman is all I need. Shadow if you're pushing it, but after that, it's overkill to me.
Even if Nintendo didn't "create" any of these things, they certainly made them more appealing and palatable to gamers. Nintendo got them to work and become integral to gaming from thereafter.
For one, the Game Boy remained the definitive handheld system line all the way up to the Nintendo DS. That's nearly 15 years of prominence. 15 years of challengers and none of them could top the Game Boy.
You can argue that these devices existed before ...
