I think the last physical games I bought were used copies of PS4 single player games like Bloodborne and God of War, for super cheap. Other than that, my Xbox library is completely digital, and I have hundreds of games xD

Higher taxes there, yes, but factor in the ridiculous prices we have to pay for insurance here, rent prices skyrocketing, new consoles are probably costing us alot more of what we have.

Gold and Gamepass should be bundled together, and discounted, that way you can also get the extra money off game sales. If they allowed owned digital sales to be shared with one other person (outside of account sharing) that would be an amazing deal. Get Gamepass! Want the game? It's on sale, and you can share with a friend! Could use data collection to offer tailored sales to users.

Bots bought out the first wave in seconds. Amazon was releasing amounts on hour increments, I believe. Selling out instantly every time. Pre-orders were on Ebay for $1,000 within one minute of going up.
Got mine on Amazon when they had a second wave at 12pm. Sold out within two minutes.
Ebay was full of scalped consoles within two minutes of it going live. Bots destroyed this pre-order, and crashed Walmart's website for a bit.
Amazon seems to be selling in waves though, I got one at 12PM EST.

Alan Wake is basically a playable Stephen King novel. Fantastic game. And goddam, does it need a sequel.
Skyward Sword needs a huge rework. They need to cut all the hand-holding and unnecessary dialogue. Rework the engine a bit, make it so that Loftwings are seamless (no loading between entering and leaving the town, would be a huge plus for immersion). Just, lots of things that could be done to improve that game to make it potentially the best Zelda game.
I thought Sekiro was beautiful, but that may be due to the art direction. From has amazing artists.
