Consoles are going to be BC for a looong time now; It's important to set the groundwork, because these games are going to be playable/sellable now for decades. The console after Series X, and the one after that...
Well, do you own a movie or show when you stream over Netflix/Hulu/HBO? People can have a problem with those services as well, with good reason, but that hasn't stopped millions of users from finding them convenient and giving their money.
George R. R. Martin is probably still writing the rough draft lol.
Also, VR has FAR more applications than just gaming. People will have virtual jobs that make them real money. Imagine if you can hold patents and have business licenses within those spaces, and create, say, a virtual club/arcade, where people can go to play games, socialize, listen to virtual live music performances, etc. Anything, the possibilties are endless.
Give it up to 15 years, that's probably how a great amount of people will spend their time, is in VR. We're going to see entire virtual economies spring up around this technology. Virtual reality schooling, certifications, social clubs, recreation, you name it. The potential is staggering for so many different things. It's how people will learn, teach, make their money, socialize, just as the internet has made that possible for so many today, but with an entire added dimension of ...
Becauses they are unchecked and ridiculously powerful. Gathering information, presenting information and ads that others have paid for. Like someone has said, if you're getting a product for free, that means you're the product.
Do it. I haven't used it in years, life never been better lol. Facebook is poison man.
Evil Within 2 is really good.
Fatal Frame! If anyone ever gets the chance, there was a remake of II on the Wii. I suggest a modded Wii/U, or emulator. That, and Fatal Frame 4, are two of the scariest games ever made, hands down. Like "F this, why am I even playing this" scary.
It's CDPR. They're offering free updates to next-gen versions on both PS5 and Xbox.
They publish alot of games though. Evil Within and Doom are fantastic. Might not be your taste, but really well-crafted games.
Evil Within 2 has to be one of the most underrated games of this entire gen.
I mean, the original Xbox was basically the Dreamcast 2. Sega helped with development, and they had a great working relationship. Many canceled Dreamcast games got pushed to the console. Microsoft also hired Peter Moore (former president and COO of Sega of America) in 2003. Sega originally wanted Dreamcast games to be BC on Xbox, but they couldn't work out networking issues. Along with certain Dreamcast games running on Windows CE, the Xbox platform was basically the spiritual successor t...
If you haven't played Deus Ex: Human Revolution or Mankind Divided, those games would definitely be up your alley.
It's hard for third person with futuristic games like this. Imagine playing Deus Ex, and trying to interact with dozens of different objects that are vertical; It's not very precise. Even in Witcher 3, there were tons of times where I just couldn't pick up an object due to weird camera and cursor placement. I bet they tried for third person at first when they were doing test builds, and it didn't feel right. It probably would have been their first choice, given that's what...
Replaced? Didn't Sony say they're going to be supporting the PS4 with games for years still to come? Also, Last of Us 2 and GoT both came out this year, two huge games for Sony. The Switch is just selling incredibly well.
How many modern games do you know anyone running on PC at 4k/120fps lol. And even those that are, what impossibly small percentage of the entire market do you think that is?
Considering that Watch Dogs has been poorly optimized on PC, I wouldn't expect it to run much better lol.
Although with the source code probably going to be leaked, I bet modders will have the game running better than Ubisoft does after some time.
It's going to be the exact opposite of that, because better graphics=more sales. That mindset is unshakeable when it comes to huge publishers like Ubisoft and EA.
Massive day 0 patch lol. That's modern gaming though. Having a physical game with no internet connection means you could have an entirely different experience once you connect and patch it.
