And mods, much more control and customization, choice of controllers, etc. I prefer console, but I understand that if you have the cash to build a good PC, you're paying for a much better experience. The new NVIDIA cards pretty much already blow away these consoles, and that's great for PC owners. There are good choices for everyone's tastes at the moment.

Hope you really enjoy the PS5 man. I'll hopefully be getting one in the near future once some more games are announced and released, and I have seen more of it in action. I managed to snag a Series X pre-order, and couldn't be more excited for launch day. Gonna be a good holiday lol.

As the video showed, pretty much getting double the GPU performance on dynamic games over the One X on resolution mode. That's pre-release without any sort of per-game optimization.

Amazing as From games are, they haven't always been the best optimized...
Most of them have always run janky as hell on base consoles. Except Scholar of the First Sin, that game was beautiful at 60fps.

Most of these games were running at 4K lol.

Dude, it's hitting 4K/60fps, and that game still looks incredible. That's really impressive for a console, especially at the price point. Also gotta factor in the cost of a controller. You'd be really hard-pressed to build a PC that could run it that well at that price.

The entire industry seems pretty excited about the Series X. I don't think MS is paying off every website and tech-review Youtube channel lol.

The point being, your entire Xbox library, and every game on Game Pass, which some people will just be getting into some of these games, will run better than they ever have on any console. Like they showed, you're getting twice the performance of the Xbox One X, WITHOUT any optimization patches whatsoever. I don't think it's going to be too hard for devs to do a bit of optimization for their games on the hardware, if they feel so inclined. MS might give them incentive to do so. Al...

Used often in horror games, makes it harder to kill enemies, making encounters more stressful.

RE4 is one of the greatest and most important games ever made. Full of tension, great combat through crowd management, and was basically the grand-daddy of modern third-person shooters.
Game was mind-blowing when it launched on Gamecube.

Microsoft owns them now, so I'm guessing they will stay on Gamepass for good.

Okay, cool. What about the people that haven't?

Controllers are expensive too. Xbox controllers are about $60 normally. So, you can say the price of the hardware itself is $240. Build me any type of PC for $240 that has a SSD, 1440p support and ray-tracing hardware baked in please. You literally cannot find that type of quality for cheaper anywhere.

Any time I've ever had a problem, it's been "Hey, we're sorry, and here's your money back!" Easy.

People should be very concerned about Amazon moving into any market, because their intention is to dominate it. In ten years, when they're approved for full automation, you think any food suppliers will be able to compete with Whole Foods? When they're doing drone deliveries, self-driving vehicles, completely automated warehouses, etc.
Amazon is scary powerful.

Well, I mean, it's either going to be MS, Amazon or Google that's gonna be in control of the entire world someday, so pick one lol. At least MS has cared about gaming for longer xD
You can't compete with these companies in any market, if they start throwing enough money into it.

Why not just call it Prime Gaming, the hell man. People already are familiar with the Amazon Prime service, and it's a positive word. Like, they have huge meetings over this stuff, and still thought it was the best idea? Fucking A.

One of the biggest things for me, is seamless and immediate switching between games with save states. Playing a game, get an invite to play something else with a friend/family member, and you're loaded in completely within a few seconds. When you're done, flip back over to the first game, it's loaded back up in probably under five seconds, right where you left off. That is a HUGE quality of life improvement that I didn't know I needed until I saw in action.

Especially if you switch between games often, like really, screw that. I don't even have the physical space for all the games I have across all consoles.

They messed up bad this prior gen and can't afford to again. They know the only way to make it right, is to spend the time to go beyond what competitors are doing. As they say, necessity is the mother of invention. Sony rested on their laurels, and despite not really having changed their game-plan that won everyone over all gen, now seem weaker in comparison in regards to customer goodwill.
