Why the hell are developers stealing or already stole all the genres of PC gaming then?
MOBAs, MMOS, FPS, RTS, etc etc.
Console gaming is the parasites of the gaming world. Most of the gaming genres are from PC originally.
Even your precious GTA and CoD started on PC :)
When DX11 was released on PC hardly any of the developers used it properly as the consoles were still using DX9. To this day Dx11 is hardly used efficiently.
DX12 won't been able to transform the Xbone into a high end PC it's just a software update which is geared towards PC gaming in general anyway.
It's primarily a PC update to make PC gaming more efficient so developers can code closer to the metal like they do on consoles.

PC doesn't have a "next gen". On PC it's been "next gen" for many years now according to the console's definition.
PC gaming is "All gen" and will always be that way.
I can play games from 15-20 years ago or I can play the newest games coming out in the near future all on the same machine.

How can H1Z1 rip off DayZ? For one DayZ has limited crafting and no base building whatsoever.
For a zombie apocalypse game it has very few zombies as well atm.
Only simalarities is both games are in alpha :)
DayZ isn't exactly the best game in the world.
All you do is run around collecting items in a vacant open world, bump into someone and die ad infinitum :)
There's no base building in DayZ or anything that would promote a community type game.
I actually prefer Rust to DayZ but both games suffer from lack of content and direction of the developers.
I hope SOE can merge the town building from SWG/Rust and the tense atmo...
It is coming to the PS4 though.
It's an SOE game so why wouldn't they? It won't be coming to Xbone that's for sure :)
I'll be playing it on PC in 4-6 weeks when it's released on steam Early Access :)
The 8GB RAM will only be used up if developers get lazy and don't optimise.
If they can create games like The Last of Us, Gears of War series and Uncharted etc on 512MB RAM then they can use 8GB RAM to do a lot more than they have been doing if used wisely.
It's up to the devs to optimise and use the RAM smartly or have a party with it and use it recklessly.
No Microsoft just want control over everything to the detriment of their company, their reputation and their customers.
Same old MS for me as a PC gamer. We had to put up with their crap for over a decade now it's the console gamers turn :)
They don't give a shit about the Xbox gamers. Why would they think to add draconian DRM to their system if their customers were valued?
Wasn't Ryse originally a kinect game for X360 but converted to Xbone without Kinect support?

Titanfall is not "next gen" whatever that means. It's a console shooter with mechs. Just the same old FPS.
It's also a Source engine game which is 10 years+ old so not very next gen :P

Quite a few AAA games are from indie studios you just don't recognise them.
Personally I prefer indie games to these AAA publisher funded monstrosities.

I try to stay far away from MS as possible. My only link to MS is Windows 7.
On PC G4WL is coming to an end but MS won't patch out their own program so the games will be useable after they shut G4WL down. Therefore they'll be unplayable for any person that bought any MS published games using G4WL like Fable 3.

The only reason Xbox360 dominated the US last gen was because a lot of people had to buy 2-3 X360s just to find a working one as RROD affected quite a lot of people and the little thing called 1 year+ head start :)
This time RROD isn't affecting the Xbone so ppl don't have to buy more than one console and inflate the sales of the console.
It will be interesting so see how many Xbones sell due to it being a better made machine than the x360.
I'm a playstation fan and yet I'm still playing Titanfall on PC.
It's a good game but not worth the asking price of £45 on EA Origin store.
I got it for £30 on launch day. I also got Dark Souls 2 on PC for £17.50 too :P
Erm...DX12 isn't going to change the lack of power or the resolution of the Xbone.
It's add some graphical features and maybe make the process more efficient.
Just like DX11 it won't change much if anything really.
It'll just be an excuse for MS to make it Windows 8.1/9 exclusive to sell their failing OS to the gaming community.
Well MS didn't fund Titanfall, EA did via EA Partners.
And still EA don't have the rights to Titanfall IP.
MS bought the Gears IP from Epic as Epic didn't want to do another Gears game.
I think Respawn want to do another Titanfall and make it multiplatform so all gamers can play their games not a select few.
As far as I know Respawn still own the Titanfall IP.
Microsoft would have to buy Respawn if they wanted Titanfall IP for themselves.
I would have thought Respawn would have more sense to be tied to one console or publisher after their dealings with Activision. Maybe not...
Microsoft probably bought timed exclusivity beta codes for Xbone users :P

It's a bit crappy as they had problems with the main server going down and so they rushed the rest of it but it looks quite promising so far :)
I can't wait for PC Early Access release in mid May.
