This is the reason why i'm choosing wii over x360 for now. I may get a x360 in the future but it doesnt interest me that much atm. I can play most of the x360 games on pc anyway.
I'm sick of both parties. It's put me off buying x360 and ps3 now. There is no such thing as next generation consoles and games. There is current gen and past gen.
If anything was next gen its pc as its always being updated unlike consoles which is static till another revision comes out in 5-6 years time.

When the ps2 will have both games and the ps3 is backwards compatible why not just get a ps3 for the next gen games and buy the ps2 games, which are exclusive to x360, for the ps3. This is where gameplay triumphs over graphics and where M$ totally messed up. Limited backwards compatibility. The ps3 is fully backwards compat so none of the sony gamers will lose out really.

I'll be upgrading my pc next year ready for crysis and many more games but it wont cost $3-4000.
I'll be spending maybe £7-800 on my new pc. I already have a great monitor and speaker system. I'll keep 1 or 2 of my hdds but the rest is new tho.
Probably getting a geforce 8800 GTS too which kicks the x360 and ps3s gfx cards ass. The price of most components will be coming down in price in Q1 or Q2 of 2007 so i could be spending even less money on an upgrade.
