Yes Acts 2 and 3 will come 6-8 months later and will cost around $35 each.
They are like the traditional expansion packs and not the usual DLC we see today. They'll add new quests to Act 1 and also add new lands to explore outside of Act 1 territory.
Well that title is a bit misleading. This kickstarter is for PC, Mac and Linux first in Q4 2015.
The closed platforms (PS4 and Xbone) is subject to approval by the platform holders so may come after the PC platforms date.
And the funding is at £213,867 of £300k with 28 days to go :)
Once the kickstarter is successful the game will get full funding by an investor.

Pay2Play is fine when the price is right. They are charging £50 box($82) + £10 ($16) monthly sub and have a cash shop. These are PC prices. Consoles might be different.
Buy2Play is the best option now for MMOs + cash shop like Guild Wars 2.
I see it going the way of SWTOR. Free2play in 6-12 months.
Since when did over 50% of owners of a console buy a single game?
There's 80mil X360s but 80mil people didn't buy GTA5 or CoD or any other game.
Titanfall is not going to be a big seller like CoD as there isn't that many Xbones to have that many sales.
People owning x360s would have to take up the slack but who wants a last gen version of the game when there is current gen version too?
MS/EA have marketed this game towards...
LOL not a chance this will sell 2mil on Xbone when there is only 3-4mil consoles sold so far.
This is what people don't understand. You can't sell more copies of games than there are consoles sold.
It will probably sell 2-3 mil in total across all the platforms which in EAs terms would be a failure.
It depends if people buy it for X360 too then I would expect it to sell a bit more.
I want to try this game myself so I hope the...
Yes for £15 or $20-25. It's #1 on bestsellers chart atm.
@Oschino1907 I said the Tank part of War Thunder is in closed beta on PC so don't expect the PS4 version any time soon.
I was playing War Thunder on PC before the PS4 was even launched.
I know what stage the game is at. There is a new wave of Tank closed beta invites for PC in February to those who bought the founders packs.
I'm hoping Tank open beta will be in the next few months on PC to join the Plane open beta.
I just don't see Titanfall selling as well as some people are expecting.
It's not going to be CoD numbers anyway as there aren't enough Xbones out there to sell that well.
On PC EA Origin may dissuade PC gamers from getting Titanfall. If it was on steam it might do better but not the premium price you have to pay for EA Origin exclusive games.
Big mistakes by EA and Respawn to not have this game multiplat. Only party who will bene...
Tanks aren't officially on PC yet never mind PS4.
They are still in closed beta on PC. Not heard when they'll be in open beta for everyone to try either.
It's probably because of EA. I don't buy games from EA either but I'm boycotting them.
Origin sucks as well but I'd feel sick giving money to EA.
I don't see how this could be a massive seller either unless people buy the game on Xbox360 instead of Xbone.
I won't be buying this game on PC as it's EA Origin exclusive and they've made it plainly clear that consoles are their market of choice.
Do people even realise this is on PC too? So any gamer can play the game on PC rather than Xboxes.
This is probably why MS/EA only market the game for Xbox systems and don't even mention the PC version.
What are they so afraid of? That the PC version will show up the Xboxes or that it might actually sell more on PC.
This game actually reminded me of a First Person DOTA with the AI spawning from bases and just getting in the way of the pla...
@ Bigpappy and TheKayle1 The only profit MS will see if someone plays Titanfall on PC is from the Windows OS.
Microsoft does not own the PC brand as it doesn't exist. There are no royalties from games on PC as it's an open platform.
This is why MS has abandoned PC gaming as they get nothing out of it.
No one involved with PC gaming, i.e. developers or publishers, give MS anything of their profits.
Microsoft haven't supported PC gaming for years and the only tie to MS is their OS.
This is why SteamOS and Mantle API are so important to PC gamers to remove all ties to MS ASAP.
Let MS have their Xbox division and leave PC gaming alone. Most of their recent games they've been involved with have been exclusive to Windows 8.1 anyway.
Most PC gamers use Windows 7 and won't upgrade to Win 8.1 and will wait till MS develop a proper d...
I would really like to see Microsoft supply more than 13 countries and not have supply problems.
13 countries is nothing compared to Sony's 48 countries. No wonder Sony has supply problems.
Get in the big leagues MS or shut the hell up. I'd be embarrassed to show my face if all I could supply was 13 countries compared to the competitors 48.
@georgeenoob I'd be more embarrassed about last gen. Over 1 year head start with a cheaper console launch and MS still lost in worldwide sales :)
75+ million actually :P
Valve gained 10 million more users just from the recent xmas sales.
And yeah most if not all steam users will already have a gaming PC.
Yeah cos the PC is so slow and hard to develop for :P
What the hell do you think they developed the game on in the first place? It certainly wasn't a console with gamepad cos that would be just awkward trying to type code with a few buttons :P
So they are having a beta test of Titanfall on a closed platform?
When there is a PC version with thousands of different combinations of system specs to optimise and test.
It boggles my mind that developers think a beta test on a console which has the same specs is the better beta test rather than the PC version.
I'm guessing this is just a marketing beta paid for by MS to appease the Xbone fans, right?
Otherwise this is going to be Battl...
I don't think Microsoft know what Shenmue is. So let's leave the proper games to the true gaming console :)
I wouldn't mind a HD version of the first 2 games on PC as well :)
@Lowsnamebrand You really have no idea what Shadowrun was do you?
The original on SNES and Megadrive was a isometric RPG which was based on the tabletop RPG.
I hope Shadowrun is never turned into another FPS like the one on PC and X360. It was pathetic and made a mockery of the franchise.
A bit like what EA did to Syndicate.
Shadowrun Returns is a strategy RPG with turn based combat and is true to the original and the tabletop game. It was not a top do...
