No PC gamers have hated Microsoft for years. Way before the OG Xbox was even thought of.
We'll never trust them again.
When MS released the Xbox that was the nail in the coffin for PC gamers to never have anything to do with MS again.
Well said.
This isn't about consoles this is about PC gamers long history with Microsoft. Much longer than Xbox gamers history with them.
MS abandoned the PC gaming platform to make their own gaming platform and still have to this day.
They've been doing everything they can to bring down PC gaming from buying out Bungie so PC gamers didn't get the Halo franchise, closing down Ensemble Studios who made the best RTS games on PC and...
How much is the Star Citizen console market worth?
Destiny will probably come to PC if Bungie have any sense whatsoever.
You really think Star Citizen will come to consoles as it requires a med/high end PC to run it?
Titanfall was just a superficial game with a mech gimmick which quickly burned out.
I don't think it did that well on either platform.
I'm expecting a crash as well. The more greedy publishers get the closer we are to one.
I don't see a real advancement in the new consoles just more of the same.
Publishers are still spewing out the same formula of games year after year. At some point the mainstream customer will get sick of it and stop buying the same old games.
That's when it'll happen :)
H1Z1 is a hardcore survival game in a zombie apocalypse.
You have to take care of the small things like food, water, temperatures, stamina. Building a base with your friends and keeping yourself alive from zombies and players is all part of the fun.
It's not meant to be an action game like Left4dead or state of decay. Guns will be rare so melee and bow and arrows will be the main weapons.
Class3 is State of Decay, Class4 is Undead Labs ne...
H1Z1 is coming to PC first. PS4 might get it in a year or 2 when SOE finish it on PC but not before then.
I haven't heard anything about Class4 from Undead Labs.
So neither console are getting a zombie MMO any time soon.
You guys really don't like any games to be PC exclusive do you?
One of the top selling games on consoles was a PC exclusive many years ago. Yes that's right, Call of Duty was a PC exclusive.
Digital prices on PC for AAA games are most of the time more expensive than boxed copies unless you shop around and find a better deal.
On EA Origin store games cost between £35-45 just for the normal digital version.
I use cd key stores to get my games cheaper on PC. Not paying publishers ridiculous prices.
Right back at you. Console gamers should stop asking for PC games too.
Btw those 2 space games you mentioned aren't even out yet. The earliest they'll be out is 2016.
No Man Sky belongs on every gaming platform. It shouldn't just be on consoles. That's just a selfish attitude. Can't expect anything less from console gamers though they want everything and then some...
Console fanboys keep calling PC gamers "elitist&quo...
Seriously? Dragon Age? After the monstrosity that is Dragon Age 2?
Lets hope Witcher 3 stays true to it's PC roots and not consolified like Dragon Age.
Divinity Original Sin is probably the best RPG for many years and deserves that score. It is far from boring.
@Grumpy Well Smedley also said Early Access for H1Z1 on PC would be in 4-6 weeks back in April and there's still no release date for Early Access.
So take that man's word with a grain of salt.
I expect it will come to PS4 but not in the next 2 years or more.
Most of the console online magazines are reporting H1Z1 to be almost a PS4 exclusive and will be out end of this year hehe. Not a chance.
SOE are primarily PC dev...
@nucky64 Please show me where it's officially been announced by SOE for PS4.
All I see is articles presuming it's coming to PS4 later this year which is bullshit.
It's not even on steam Early Access yet for PC. It's still in pre alpha. It will not come to PS4 for 2 years or more.
Look how long Planetside 2 has taken to come to PS4. Now calculate the full release of H1Z1 on PC in a year or 2 and then add another 1-2 years for i...
@LordDhampire I'm guessing you're talking in dollars?
I'm English so US prices don't compare to UK prices.
And I wish a 780 was the equivalent of $300 here.
A 780 here in the UK is £340 ($583). A R9 290x here is £370 ($634).
I have £150-160 to spent on a graphics card so I'm looking to get the best bang for the buck and that's the 760.
Edit- Disagrees on my first commen...
We already have Halo 1 & 2 and Gears of War. Just not their sequels. We are getting Dead Rising 3 and many other so-called console exclusives.
Xbox gamers will never get H1Z1 either. PS4 gamers will probably get it in the future but atm it's PC exclusive as it hasn't been officially announced for PS4 yet.
I'm currently playing the best co-op turn based RPG, Divinity Original Sin, on PC. It may come to consoles but nothing is announced yet.
I will be upgrading to the geforce 760 in the next few weeks.
Won't need another card then for the next 3-5 years.
My current card the geforce 460 has lasted for 5 years and can still play most games at med/high.
It's impossible for MS to have sold 5 million console to consumers.
They've only shipped 5 million to retailers so they can't sell more than they have shipped unless they are off the back of a lorry :)
Sales of consoles is kind of important for gamers as this determines how much support each console gets from publishers.
I mean look at the WiiU small sales and draconian policies and they get zero support from 3rd party publishers...
They don't need to win it every year. EA have the lifetime achievement award for Worst Company in the World :)
I think that's the problem. Ubisoft have got too big for purpose.
In other words it's not a good thing to have massive teams of developers on each game as communication breaks down and things get missed or forgotten.
Their excuse for not adding female characters in AC Unity is just complete BS.
The Watch Dogs delay shouldn't have happened and I think something went wrong in management for the delay to happen.
The...
Yeah exactly. And where is the support for their own OS??
No where to be seen.
MS dropped the support for the first Xbox soon after the X360 was launched as they hate to support anything that doesn't make them money even though their customers still played on Xbox.
They've done the same thing to PC gaming for the last 10-15 years too.
