Just some jealous fanboys. Also their "girlfriends" probably got them restraining orders or something for x-mas.

I wonder if the MS public relations guy got in trouble for calling one of the 360 sku's "the main one"?

I love my PS3 and all, but I'm pretty sure this article, and several others, have stated that the 360 version of Orange Box is superior. Did you read the article at all? Even if you just read the synopsis you should have realized that you aren't making any sense.

Since everyone is going off about avatars I just want to say props to Bathyj for the best avatar I've ever seen. Wonder Boy rocks my world.

Awesome. Could this be the first good Batman game?

I'd say all the info pertains to Burnout. It's funny because if the preview was for a PC version instead of 360 we wouldn't even be having this discussion.

When I say "specific to the 360 version" I mean things like how it will work with Live or how it feels with the 360 controller. None of which was covered with any depth in the article. If you want to let the fact that an article is printed in a 360-only publication prevent you from learning more about a game you'r...

Lol. I don't even think he was trying to be funny with the RROD sh*t. He just sounds pissed off about it.

I thought it was un-delayed again. Ah well. It's not like I can afford it right now anyway.

So Skerj...what do you have in the works for us?

6612d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Well you make a good point, but it is supposed to be pretty much identical for both systems. The preview doesn't really focus on anything specific to the 360 version. That site does look awful green though...

Not much media available yet, but the concept sounds cool. Most of the team members seem to have lots of experience too, so this could turn out great.

@EZcheez: I'm with you on that one. Free Radical is one of my favorite developers. I'm the first to admit that Haze looks somewhat unimpressive graphically, but Timesplitters 2 was never that great looking and it's my favorite console shooter yet. If anyone can pull off all the weird ideas they have for this game and make them fun, it's Free Radical.

I'm buying a PSP for this game. The only two PS2 games that I didn't trade in when I got my PS3 were God of War 1 and 2. I wanted to play the whole trilogy again after GOW: 3 comes out.

Agreed. I just saw the Kotaku response. I'm glad they apologized and just sort of dropped the issue rather than fire back at 1up with some snarky remarks. No need for either site to really lose any more face here. The guy who stole the screens is finished in gaming journalism. That should be enough.

@Rushbd: Well Kotaku didn't steal the screens. Some other douchebag did that. Kotaku just reported that the screens were available. I actually heard about the story through n4g.com. I mean it would have been super nice of them to not publish the story, but it could also be said that, as fans, we shouldn't have looked at the stolen screens. Did anybody really think it was inappropriate of Kotaku before 1up took a sh*t and tried to make them look bad? I sure didn't. The only person to blame her...

Awww. I fell really bad for those dudes. Even after I wasted $30.00 on Killer 7 for the cube (worst game ever) I hate to see anyone embarrass themselves like that. They must have worked really hard on this game. Maybe the U.S./Euro launch will go better.

@KeiZka: Not to be argumentative, but the majority of the people on this site who are over 20 definitely did not start with "casual" games. When I started playing games as a 5 year old on our Intelevision and later on our Sega Master System there was no such thing as "casual" gaming. Those games were bloody hard and they really only appealed to a very narrow audience. Try "Wonder Boy" sometime. You'll see what I mean. This casual gaming business is kind of a new ...

@Muppetmeat: What if it turns out to be Drew Barrymore? Then you'd certainly look the fool. ;-)

Seems to me the article didn't include anything the title promised it would. It's just some guy talking about how there's a new GTA trailer. Like we didn't know that already.
Can't wait for this game though. San Andreas was the only game I ever pre-ordered. I went to EBgames on launch day and waited in line with a bunch of people before the shop opened. I felt like such a geek. It was awesome.

@cooke15: Dude, the wii is great for kids. Really, it's a godsend. If I'm looking for a game for my kid, I can just grab some crap off the shelf with an "E" rating on it and chances are the kid will love it. For me, though...and for most gamers out there, the selection of games available on the wii is seriously limited. There's Metroid, Wii Sports for when you're drunk and maybe Mario if you're one of those Mario people. That's it. If I didn't have a kid, there's no way I'd bother h...
