That's what I was thinking. For a year now we've been hearing about how the 360 version of "Game X" is better because it has better graphics/framerate. Fine, I won't argue that most multi plats so far are better on 360.
Now a game comes out that apparently looks better on the PS3 and it's being called a wash because 360 has rumble. Like WTF? I'm all for a little 360 action here and there, but sometimes it seems like the PS3 can't get a break.

Criterion developed the game. They also made that awesome shooter "Black". There are lots of good devs under the EA umbrella. It's the games that EA develops themselves that tend to suck.

It's great to see the PS3 selling well because more units sold means fewer crappy, half @ssed multi-plat titles but that's no reason to insult the other console. Xbots do that because they're insecure. I like to think most PS3 owners are above all that nonsense. The 360 is a cool machine, it just has some hardware issues. Our PS3's are cool too. No need to be a fanboy about it.

Wow. I've never personally played any of those, so I can't speak from personal experience, but I heard most of them really suck...like really bad. Word is Two Worlds and Project Sylpheed were cool, though.
Lol. I used to have a similar job answering customer e-mails. That cut&paste response you got made me laugh a little. They probably get several hundred e-mails just like yours every day and they're probably expected to answer 40 to 50 an hour. It sucks being in a customer service position because people usually think you're being lazy or you're just an @sshole when you don't give them the info they want, but the reps at Sony are probably less informed about what's happening with the compa...
You know gamesblow I really wasn't to bothered by the lack of classic titles available, but you just mentioned a lot of awesome PS1 games I'd love to see on the store. Maybe they could get the original Xenogears up there too. Or the old Syphon Filters, Colony Wars, FF7 & 8, tons of cool stuff. Forget this Spyro nonsense. I wonder what the hold up is? Good god, finally. They'll probably hit Canada at the same time as the US. I think Sony counts North America as one big region. The story just specifies the US because Americans don't tend to remember Canadians exist. Still not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

That a pretty serious allegation you're making there. Calling Sony Racist? Europe is one of Sony's big markets and I'm sure they'd love to get games out at the same time in the European market, but the fact is there are a ton of different languages spoken throughout Europe and localization can take time. Get over it.

Agreed. thought LBP would be out waaay sooner than September. Like February or something. That sucks. I also thought they'd push Killzone out in the summer so it wouldn't go up against Resistance. Looks like they're really pushing for a big Christmas next year. I just hope we don't get screwed for the other nine months of 2008.
How about a civil war shooter? You get to choose to be the North or the South early on in the game. Both sides are pretty much the same because all they really had were muskets and cannons, but if you choose the south you get to assassinate Lincoln. Maybe they could do it "The Patriot" style and give you a cool throwing axe.

The interview was with a DivX rep, not a Sony rep, so there's a good chance that "soon" actually means "soon". Like real soon. I hate when Sony says soon because it usually boils down to 6-9 months down the road...if not more.
