Maybe next-gen will be all 60 FPS, but then people will complain that everything is still 1080P. I for one think 1080P is a great resolution and I would rather see improved textures/lighting/etc. than devs aiming for something far more inconsequential like 4K.
The internal is definitely a hassle to change but once it's done, you feel great. My entertainment setup couldn't accommodate an external space-wise even if I didn't mind the extra eye sore. I put enough work into hiding wires and whatnot.
Scary stuff. Does it play like Heavy Rain kind of? That's the gist I keep getting from the videos I've seen.
Need to get further into this. Witcher 3 side-tracked me and basically made me waste two thirds of my free month. It plays so much better on PS4 though then it did on PS3 and my old PC. My only beef is that the software keyboard is absolute garbage compared to the one they had in FFXI. I basically just walk around a mute and hope that people think I'm Japanese.
100 retail could be 6000 dollars plus. I counted 162 retail games on wiki. Add a few hundred games on the store going for 10 to 20 dollars a piece. I'm going to ballpark it at $15,000.
Fortunately, if you wait long enough, you might be able to get a hold of 4TB 2.5 inch drive. I know they made one recently but it was too tall. If anything, the longer you wait, the better the technology and prices you have to work with.
Yeah, I'm at 1.3TB free with about 9 retail games installed and most of the Plus games downloaded (probably around 50 Plus games?). It's not too bad considering I could delete titles like Killzone, Farcry, Infamous, and Destiny at any given moment and it probably wouldn't affect me.
Two playthroughs and it really is done.
I know people who aren't buying it because of the lack of splitscreen. I also know people who are buying it because they are into the campaigns and normally play by themselves. The splitscreen complaints are pretty justified though. Mainly for kids who have siblings and friends that want to join in and can't afford multiple consoles (a solid percentage of the Halo fanbase are children...there should be a mute all button lol). It was also a great social activity for friends no matter w...
It's pretty great. Especially if you liked either Yoshi Story or Epic Yarn.
Already bought the full Telltale bundle for 44 dollars months ago unfortunately. The deal was too good to pass up.
P2P is last gen for Xbox. Dedicated is actually last gen by PS standards lol. I wouldn't mind the mandatory PS+ so much if the quality of free titles didn't dip so drastically. It's still way better than GWG but pretty mediocre compared to when we used to get full PS3 games every month (some being only 6 months old with AAA reviews).
Yeah this news is terrible, but I'm pretty sure I've only invested like 4 hours in multiplayer in U2 and 3 whereas I've spent upwards of 100 hours playing single player for both games.
Doesn't look anything like Uncharted 2 mp. If anything it has gotten more convoluted with the supernatural aspect. I'm not going to judge until I try it but this seems more like its own thing. That thing being Uncharted on crack.
8 days a week.
3 also relied too heavily on the formula introduced by 2. The plot is almost identical in ways. We just got to experience different set pieces. 2 had that sense of novelty, but also felt more polished all-around.
Ahem...Uncharted 2 got 96. 3 was 92.
I wonder if co-op was being emphasized in the trailer...or maybe your teammates actually talk to each other and throw out lines while you're owning fools? Would like some solid co-op for the last (possibly?) Uncharted.
Wild has a great concept, but I think there's still a probability of it falling flat in a lot of ways. Flying around as a bird is always cool (Wind Waker anyone?), but getting animals to attack people could get really repetitive if each animal type just has a single scripted action. I'm not getting too hyped yet. The animations also need more work as well.
I'm surprised how few good writers the gaming industry has these days. It doesn't help that some of them have really rough backdrops to work with. I'd be tempted to blame the business side of gaming that rallies for these profitable annual sequels. AC, CoD, and BF have some of the worst stories in gaming as of late.
