Feminism is a very divisive movement that ranges from the almost male-hating side to the proper definition which Ashlen describes and this has been the feminism in the traditional sense since the 1800's. There is also post feminism which is the counter movement to the more spiteful side of feminism and most of the guys here would certainly fall into this category although quite a few are clearly falling even deeper through their immature counter-hatred. Most are just as guilty as the hype...
I don't like either one's thumb sticks that much. I wish the DS4 had more concave sticks and I wish the X1 controller didn't have an awkward overly deep ridge. They also feel uncomfortably small because of the size of the hard plastic-feeling rings being too compact whereas the DS4 feels less restrictive and uses a softer material.
The problem is the average consumer often makes the choice to spend more and the consumers who don't often suffer because tyranny of the majority throws everyone into a less desirable business model. It's not as simple of a topic as saying buy or don't buy. It's kind of annoying how blind people are to the repercussions of money shifting hands for such services.
Undertales actually quite amazing. I think you are right it doesn't deserve a 10 and it is moreso a 10 by snes standards. The problem is we don't get enough games like it that think outside of the box and it's old school roots have become novel again because it's nothing like you see in the gaming industry anymore. That's part of the reason the reviews went overboard. They want to sell and support this kind of creativity in the future. Not just watch it go under the radar ...
See the last part of my comment. I'm with you there. I own LBP3 which was also a flop by franchise standards (though mainly because of bugs) and it sits at a similar meta and I still think it's a great game. Of course it's probably fun. It's just not the kind of game someone like me with a backlog would pre-order at full price. It's actually at 76 right now and could drop to 74 because of typical last minute bombastic reviewers.
They're pretty bad by farcry standards actually but this tends to be the fate of the spin-off game.
Edit: I'm still amazed at the fanboyism surrounding this game. Anything remotely negative gets swamped with disagrees even though we clearly have an example here of an uninspired and, based on the story criticism, somewhat incomplete game that could easily be considered a flop by franchise standards. Me and slot of my friends love farcry but all acknowledge 4 was a les...
I'll let the reviews tell people what to do with their money then lol. They pretty much reiterated what I've been saying about this game since the first preview.but really the people who pull out the "let people do what they want with their money" are usually wrong. I'm all for individualism and subjectivity but please don't be be paying off these devs for this minimum effort reskin. At least with FC4 we got a nice graphical jump and some tidbits of interesting story...

I leave this for the 8 people who disagreed with me. Enjoy the crow. It's only going to go down from there. It's the hardline of Farcry.
I like farcry and this looks like a waste of 70 bucks.
This game looks crappy. Farcry 4 was already a disappointment for me. I don't see this faring any better. Pure cash grab and I pity the fool who buys it.
Best April ever basically. I hope to god Persona doesn't get another delay and then my 2016 will be the best year of gaming ever. All without even considering if FFXV lives up to the hype or not.
Killzone 2, Uncharted 2 and MGS4 also had their impact on the graphical front in that small period of time where Gears 2 came out (2008/2009 era). That was a great time for graphics fiends. I haven't been that impressed (proportionally) with this gen yet. I used to stare at certain textures and water for long periods of time. Hoping 2016 brings back that unhealthy obsession.
@purpherbison See the other hundred comments that said your comment is exactly why the game should have been delayed. Offering free DLC because it's incomplete at release doesn't mean you're somehow getting a deal. Then you would just be discounting the initial lack of content entirely and pretending you got a full game from the get-go and everything excess is charity.
The problem here is that games aren't meant to be long-term investments and the average gamer is actually completely ignorant to the concept of improvements through patches/updates. It's just not a good precedent to release things incomplete and promise a more complete product down the line.sure for someone like you it might be acceptable but the average person would either be underwhelmed by what their money got them or completely ignorant to the game's commitment to expansion.
Preach. Ground Zeroes was terrible. I'm sad I paid $8 for it and then got it free two months later.
Tearaway offered enough hours for a $40 handheld game and had enough collectibles and things to invent which added replayability. That and it was one of the most innovative games ever. It wasn't just a graphically improved reskin.
Games should release when they have the content to justify the price tag. Saying otherwise is just ridiculous. Asking for offline matches or 20 characters isn't so steep of a demand that it would make a 4 year release difference. Your hyperbolic analogy is hardly relative in this situation.
I agree with this. Current attitudes towards DC and KI are night and day to what they were at launch. Even TW3, my game of the year, had a rocky launch and turned it around. If the free content offered overshadows the current publicity then that is great for SF fans.
His point was a combination of quality and quantity is superior. He never said quantity = quality.... The problem here is quality is subjective. I can't pretend 16 characters is too little since I am often overwhelmed by the ridiculous roster of SSB but if SF4 was releasing with more characters and features than its hard not to find something amiss. I'm still pissed about Rock Band 4 not having practice or online modes. It's inexcusable for a sequel to drop major features imo.
"A derogatory term for a stereotype of people who fight for valid causes that often get outshadowed by the crazy vocal nutjobs."
Best SJW definition I have seen lately. They need a word for the people who use SJW incorrectly which would probably be 90% of the internet. Please point out my wrongful appeal to ethos even though I was speaking colloquially oh hypocritical internet.
