Such a return to form. I only wish it was a full priced game. Either way, this and the movie are day ones. I don't even care if the theatre is flooded with children. Did they trade out Drek for Nefarious though? Kind of disappointing if so. R&C1 had the best story of the franchise.
Multiplayer is where the true longevity lies so having that be the best part is good news.

Doubtful. Sony realizes the value of simply getting games running smoothly on their system and have helped out plenty of studios in the past without binding them to an exclusivity deal. One example that comes to mind right now is them helping out Bethesda to get rid of that one major glitch in Skyrim and trying to get the DLC up and running. They've helped out countless others as well.
Still seems dated in many ways. Now it's just old CoD with Titanfall's mobility mechanics with a postmodern setting. Basically Advanced Warfare all over again.
Both types of experiences can be enjoyable. Nothing about the idea of dynamic events makes it wholly superior to scripted events. There is more room for polish and literary value with a script. You get a better narrative usually. Dynamic allows for more originality and freedom on the other hand. They are two different genres and calling one bad or inferior is just ignorant.
It's like when David Cage talks about moving the industry forward like his preferred way is an evol...
I disrespectfully disagree. Uncharted is supposed to be a cinematic, linear experience just like a film. Heavy Rain is pretty open-ended in many ways and really pushed the medium imo. TWD is mostly just a watered down Heavy Rain that is really linear and gives you more of an illusion of choice.
DQB is high on my radar!
They did well by getting Ori and SSO. The latter is technically by a 2nd party Sony studio though and PS4 is getting the new R&C exclusively... Still Ori is a game that would do really well on PS4 and I envy those who can play it.
Was hearing about it like 5 years ago I swear. What are they doing? I'd love a new Champions game tbh.
Replace CoD and TR with Bloodborne and Halo 5 maybe? We still have to see how TR pans out though. Halo is one of those games that always gets GOTY awards although the under-average meta might be implying otherwise.
I've heard a lot of people hated DA:I for being really repetitive and being full to the brim with mundane fetch content. The kind of tedious quests that plague MMORPGs. TW3 was excellent as far as side content goes. I expect some solid side quests in Fallout 4 as well.
The free DLC and quality DLC for a reasonable price was a good move. I'd like to see other devs learn from CDPR's success. You can make money and respect the consumer at the same time.
Wouldn't mind something like Freedom Wars or one of the PS2 remasters (only have MGS). If they've given up on the Vita, it's not like anything in the library is overly valuable or profitable to them now with the exception of new games (being Persona 4 DDR and Conception 8: One Baby Too Many?).
Not too big of a deal since most people will be playing Fallout this month anyway.
Not any better than previous months for me but certainly not bad. Will be playing Magicka and Beyond Good and Evil for sure. My only real complaint is the consistent lack of retail/AAA games. Knack and The Order seem like good ideas for the coming months considering how cheap they are now. Killzone would be a good choice as well even though I own it. I wouldn't be entitled enough to criticize Sony for that though.
Yeah... I think you get about 6 or 7 hours depending somewhat on use of the LED, speaker, and sixaxis. I think the rechargeable battery is the most cost-effective and convenient way for a controller to go, but the PS3 did it so much better since you could get like 20 hours of battery life back then. With the PS4, you basically just want to make sure you charge your controller after every play. If you're going for more than 7 hours straight, keep a second one plugged in/charged. Quicker th...
The sadder part is that incorrect use of a semi-colon; joking aside, you guys shouldn't be giving into the flame this article is clearly trying to fan.
Liking the coloured dots. Pretty clever way to avoid having coloured buttons and throwing off the overall colour symmetry.
The guy that made Too Human.
Pretty sure it's 3.
