It reminds me of Kingdom Hearts because of the crossovers, but it doesn't look nearly as fun and seems way more milky. Kind of like Record Keeper but that game was supposed to centre around its fan service whereas this just seems like the they created a subpar story and likely drowned it in nostalgia. Hopefully it turns out okay but expectations are low for this compared to KH3 and even XV.
For one type of puzzle there's a surprising amount of depth and satisfaction to be had. I'm actually enjoying it more than puzzle games that have a variety of puzzles. Probably because the world is compelling and the puzzle designs are incredibly well thought out. It's true though, I do hope his next game hits the same level of quality but improves in the variety department. I actually prefer Braid conceptually but for some reason I am enjoying Witness vastly more. It doesn't ...
While I think sea of thieves has potential you are blatantly lying Chris when you say all of those games were reviewed well. Sure you may have enjoyed them (no doubt far less than 90% of Rare's older games) but all of those games except for one lie below an 80 on meta which is unequivocally the key criterion for deciding whether a game is mediocre critically. You don't see people raving about Wii sports resort and Singstar and I'm pretty sure those reviewed better than Kinect spor...
I recall the camera/gravity mechanics could be pretty frustrating..especially if you're going for a gold in the time trials. The combat also gets quite repetitive since every enemy has the same weakness and requires the same tactics. The story is pretty nonsensical and barebones but it feels like a prequel for something even better and more fleshed out possibly.I give it an 8 personally. It's not the best Vita game but it's worth a try just for the innovations.
AH HA HA HA!!
That and every line of dialogue in XIII.
That got dark quick lol.
They were talking about airships in the game literally like four years ago and now they are somehow gone. I don't get SE. I'd like to think Nomura would have included them.
Yeah Luna strikes me as more generic as far as looks and name so far. Stella made me think of the game's dramatic roots and that Shakespeare quote. Hopefully what they decided upon is much better than 13 anyway.
Yeah the Xbox if anything is severely limited as far as what I would call AAA indies. Most of the top rated ones are only on PC and PS4 still. Could make a list but we see too many of those on n4g.
They're so cheap now it doesn't even matter. I bought both for 20 a piece eight months ago. Hopefully when another triple AAA comes to plus it'll be something better than killzone. It's no killzone 2; I'll just say that. Honestly though games like Infamous are worth a buy at launch for the quality and the support of a great developer.
Injustice on PS4 and AC4 and Thief on X1. I also would include First Light and Driveclub plus as a AAA combined because they are both substantial. You also have to consider how much better the PS4's indie offerings are. There's transistor, super meat boy, oddworld, rogue legacy, olliolli 2, gauntlet, fez, don't starve, dead nation, rocket league, resogun, the binding of isaac, unfinished swan. All are spectacular. There's even a few more I didn't mention that are great as ...
They're paying me quite heavily with software support actually. Success of a system even somewhere far away like Japan has a huge impact on what kind of generation we're going to have RPG-wise so the sales are of great interest to me.
This. Same logic...different context. But bias will prevail and someone will come up with rubbish reasons to disagree with your purposeful hyperbole.
The current lack of RPGs and eccentric Japanese-made games is definitely part of the problem. Though MS did invest somewhat in the 360's library RPG-wise and that hardly paid off, so you do have a bit of a point. No need to view it through only negative connotations though.
It's less about the Wii U's popularity and more about the PS4's lack of popularity. It still hasn't hit it's stride in Japan. Things are going to get interesting with all of the big RPGs this year.
Amazing. I kind of hope the story strays more away from what we had in LBP and more towards something more artistic and profound like what thatgamecompany offers.
The main issue with the game was they achieved that "dark and mature" look primarily by arbitrarily reducing brightness to the point where it just looks bad. Apparently that is fixed in this version though. I still don't love the art direction and character models despite this.
You can buy a double capacity battery for the controller on their website for not too much. It's probably a nice upgrade but I was never motivated to spend the money. I usually prefer the pro controller that lasts like 80 hours anyway. Still can't believe it lasts that long. Terrible rumble definitely helped make this possible.
They actually did tests and the difference between hybrid and ssd on PS4 is mostly negligible. So logical bang for your buck is the hybrid but I would personally stick with the conventional hdd. Having more space for much cheaper beats shaving off seconds off loading every day of the week. That's simply not worth hundreds of dollars when I'm usually using loading times to multitask anyway.
Games take less than 6 months to drop to a third of the price these days. Discounting Nintendo games though because of greed/compensation for lack of third party sales profit (horrible pun intended).
