I could see this being a possible evolution of console gaming. It doesn't have to be complicated either since it could all centre around user-friendly ports. It would also mean the gamer gets to decide the entry cost and the technical limits as well. As much as I love consoles, they have been shifting towards the category of pseudo-PCs more and more every generation. This might be possible if one of the big three can wrap their heads around it. This would eventually be followed by cloud g...

I'd love to have have a more powerful CPU in the PS4 and I would probably buy this, but it doesn't really seem feasible to optimize every game for two different SKUs. On the other hand, if the PS4 continues to dominate in sales and the big AAA games like Uncharted and GT amplify this trend, then Sony could do something of the sort seeing as each SKU's user base could eclipse the entire X1 and Wii U user bases. The PS4 sales will also rocket very soon in Japan thanks to FF, DQ, an...

I think a sequel would help to properly advance the story and add/tweak certain fundamental mechanics. The franchise will also want dat graphical leap considering the first game launched one year into the new systems.

It didn't live up to the hype, but it was great for what it was and blows a lot of other current mainstream fps out of the water (COD, BF, and Killzone have all disappointed this gen). Most people say they hate it, but most people were addicted to it for a week or two. That's a long time for any game. People are just mad it didn't have the staying power of Halo. Oh and the overpriced DLC (thanks to Activision) did not help.

Edit: Completely agree that motes of lig...

Yeah.. I'll only consider upgrading my game with DLC if I can get all three of those expansions for like 30 bucks. Currently it would cost me 65 dollars. Might just have to buy the taken king version for 20 bucks to see any new content. Kind of stupid.

It will have all the bugs. Still excited.

I've seen like a hundred bugs in 30 hours ranging from pop-in to frame drops to screen tears to getting stuck (Geralt and Roach) to glitchy animations to misregistering hits and misses during combat to menu lag. It's still a masterpiece though just like Skyrim was with all its bugs.

Edit: I just walked into a house and found an npc sitting inside his bookshelf lol. You could only see his head popping out the top beefing with me to get out of his house.

Some more side content and making more use of certain items (the spinner) would be nice. That and give the horse whistle earlier because fast travel makes Epona obsolete by the time you get it. Also...less annoying secret areas that are only home to pointless rupee chests. Increase the difficulty as well since most enemies take a quarter of a heart and potions aren't necessary at all in the game.

Edit: Oh and get rid of the terrible bug hunting parts. Or at least make th...

They run better on the home console anyway. They're not the kind of games I would care to have mobile either. More like movies where you sit down and watch them on a big screen.

It's too early for a full blown far cry imo. If it's going to be an experimental spin-off like Hardline sure, but if this is supposed to be a main entry I'm sensing milk. Especially if 5 sneaks up on us by 2017.

My only complaints are the frame rate (its pretty mediocre and almost always sub 30) and trying to press X on things for looting and lighting torches is extremely annoying to line up.

Besides that it's definitely one of the best WRPGs I've played. I think Skyrim felt more polished and had a lot more options and variety, but something about exploring swamps and the difficult Monster Hunter with spells combat makes my day. The regular hard mode is hard as hell though. ...

It didn't feel quite as ambitious as 3, especially in the story department.

Eh pushsquare isn't that bad at all. Better than Dualshockers as far as PS focused sites go. It's really just an aggressive article sprung from someone's personal vendetta. The 3.0 upgrade is still underwhelming in many ways. People have been nagging for minimalist features for two years now. Things PS3 launched with. All of the current gen systems are guilty of this too.

Disgaea 2 and 4 were my favourites. I still can't get over how much the other games' protagonists pale in comparison to Valvatorez. Definitely the best. Mao might be the worst for obvious reasons lol.

Audiophiles... NIS has always been behind the technological curve. I hope for a hearty graphics upgrade with the next game. Look at that Persona 4 to 5 jump. Not sure if 3D graphics would look good in a JSRPG though...

At like 70 hours and have some level 9999 characters and the ability to get them quickly now (statisticians), but even that means nothing in the scope of the post-game. So much left to do!

Imo seeing a white X1 just reminds me of how much of an aesthetic downgrade the 1 is compared to the 360. The shape of it is simply the antithesis of sleek. I still think PS4 holds the aesthetics crown. And this is coming from someone who thought the PS1 and 3 were ugly. The PS2 seems ugly now but when it came out it looked cutting edge and sexy (especially compared to the OG Xbox and Gamecube).

Preferred Warped but I agree with Chris on this one.

What Tomb Raider does that is different is redundant exploring and an upgrade system that you would expect from mundane games like AC. It never needed these things to be great but these little gimmicks certainly make it less obvious that Uncharted largely has the upper hand. They are filler additions that are not really innovative or necessary when you consider the scope of Uncharted's cinematics and presentation. It's more than a game with exp and an open world. It's an experienc...
