Yeah I just paid for a cast two months ago unfortunately lol. And okay good to know, but that doesn't change the other cost discrepancies. I could also bring up how the US gets larger food portions for far cheaper and how Canada unanimously gets ripped off the most as far as phone and internet prices while getting service comparable to a third-world country internet-wise. Basically what I'm trying to say is...the aforementioned health insurance prices are a great deal compared to heav...

Would rather pick up the Shivering Isles-esque content that is substantial and leave the Horse Armors and Hearthfires in the gutter where they belong. Basically, I don't give a damn about aesthetics and cosmetics... just significant content. This is why I skipped pretty much every season pass ever but picked up Witcher 3's pass immediately (for less than half the price of this).

@JeffGUNZ Grow up lol. You are being the pot in this proverbial situation.

It was 15% up until only a few years ago. He probably just forgot it got reduced? Unless there's some province with 15% still. I'm too lazy to google it.

@Buffalo Nope. Gas and alcohol are half the price in the states and that $3000 or so you spend a year is nothing compared to the easily $10000 plus most Canadians spend in inflated taxes. That and the healthcare isn't even completely free. People still have to pay for prescriptions, casts, crutches, etc. Maybe th...

But what if this is just a motivation tactic. Then it's no different from using pre-order bonuses to get people to buy a crappy game. The problem here is that you don't even have a rough idea of what the product is going to be since none of it has been released or even previewed. We only know about a handful of extra features (deathclaws, clothing, and building additions) that would have come for free anyway via the impending console mods. I won't buy this even at the reduced $40 ...

Looks at the Vita's Japanese software lineup. Uhhh just no. I see the negatives in hyperfeminism but it doesn't mean feminism as a whole is completely unfounded. I understand it's a cultural difference but wow.

Yeah that and 8 dollar knack are highlights but I already own the handsome collection and knack would realistically just go into my backlog. I've found that while I save a ton on gaming through sales, I still need to be more conscious of which games are just going into my backlog that will be cheaper/free in the future. Kind of like when I spent $20 on GoW Ascension and Ni No Kuni and one became free and the other was like five bucks. At least I played Ni No Kuni right away though whereas...

Trials Fusion on Vita?

Probably out of curiosity. There isn't much to talk about this week though. Firewatch and Unravel seem cool but the sales are abysmal.

It still seems like such a cash grab. Too many games these days are releasing bare-bones with limited content. Battlefront and Evolve and to a lesser extent Destiny and Titanfall had this issue as well (these latter two were actually enjoyable for awhile). Would rather wait for something with more substance to release and continue to chip away at my huge backlog.

Yeah it's a little sad tbh.

Nintendo just has a monopoly on the franchises that matter and that's the problem. I don't know if they're still using that Wii money or what but I think things are going back in Sony's favour for Square again at least.

Maybe it's like the Wii U syndrome where the name and lack of advertising lead to people not knowing if the system was a successor or just some new SKU.

And I'd also argue...

3) Notable third party support from the likes of Rockstar or Capcom.

(Monster Hunter and GTA are the two series that skyrocketed the PSP. Look it up.)

That would be a breakthrough. Realistically if a handheld came out with the extra shoulder buttons and was capable of graphical fidelity somewhere between what the PS3 and 4 are capable of (because this is the pattern they've been following unlike Nintendo) I'd be all over that.

I would be skeptical because of how the Vita support panned out, but I would also be interested because in all honesty I put triple the hours into my Vita than my PSP. I'm odd like that though. I still think the best software lineup Nintendo had was on the GBA.

The Vita has been cheap. Price wasn't the problem since I bought a PSP for 300 and Vita for 200 only two years after launch.

The problem is they need to balance their home and handheld consoles financially and divvy out games fairly. I don't think they will be in a position to pull this off until the PS4 has had another two years of success. When games like Uncharted and all of the JRPGs come, Sony will be in a dominant position globally and will be more open to risks...

Looks sweet. A minute in I was like wow they just made Square look like chodes for not having character switching lol. Then again it is more of a strategy game and it's probably not as cinematic/built around a main character.

10 hours = post-launch buy at 30 bucks for me in all honesty. For example I have Ratchet pre-ordered for 35, it's 12 hours long, and it will have challenge mode. I have U4 pre-ordered for 55, it's likely over 12 hours, I will beat it 4 times probably since it will be the best single player campaign we've seen in years, and I'll put time in on the multi-player. Buying this for 70 to 80 around launch is basically a hell no for me. Especially when this game will rely much more on...
