The backgrounds and graphical effects look alright in the original but damn, the character models were horrible haha.
But the English translation is the only one I know and to me that version of Barret is the real Barret. I wouldn't want him changed to match a game I never played.
Yeah Barret is a bit cartoonish and old school but he's also a great and well rounded character. There's no need to change anything about him and imo from the trailer the voice actor nailed it.
Is there any point to these comparisons or is it just stirring the pot for the sake of it?
Hats off for the quality of the picture but it's just shaved Kratos with a helmet. Should be blue surely.
Good choices on the voice cast, everyone sounded spot on.
Cautiously optimistic to say the least but the tone of this trailer and the glimpses of action does give me hope that it's going to be a pretty well done update of an old game. It's looking better than I expected and seeing as the original is one of my all time favourites that makes me happy.
It's got that look about it for sure, slick as oil.
Impressive, looks fun, varied, imaginative and highly polished.
I wasn't going to watch Solo because I didn't like the casting but I stuck it on one day and was pleasantly surprised. Einreich wasn't great but he was better than I expected and I liked the more light hearted tone. Arguably the best film since the original trilogy although that's not saying a lot.
Strange thing to take personally. Your loss.
My and my wife took it in turns to play half hour or so chunks of UD and whatever decisions needed making were solely on whoever had the controller. It was a fun way of doing it, she's terrible at QTEs and I seemed to have a knack for making decisions which doomed the characters so there was barely anyone left by the end haha. Good fun.
I think moving on to a different story was a good idea though. No need to recycle the same thing when there's so much else they ca...
Does he constantly pull his shorts out of his arse crack like the real thing.
I mean yeah you couldn't realistically have a full on open world RPG that told the entirety of the story of the books/show from start to finish but there's no reason why a game couldn't focus on a specific part of it and tell a narrower (yet still epic) story.
If characters being too heroic and hard to kill is a big problem just borrow a bit of the realistic combat and survival elements from Kingdom Come Deliverance, but do it better ideally.
It was the first FF I didn't like and 13 killed it off entirely for me. The concept of not finishing a FF game was bizarre to me at the time but my interest in both games fizzled out at the halfway mark and I couldn't get it back.
I can't either, I'm hoping for a story I personally like more and a larger map with more rural space and multiple cities but who knows what they've got planned. They're annoyingly secretive about it haha but I'm really looking forward to the first glimpse at it.
Keep me entertained for a few years no doubt.
GTA6 all day every day. It's going to be huge.
Seems suspicious that they're citing Google saying that people don't want a box anymore to explain why investors are dropping out when Sony, MS and Nintendo are continuing to produce boxes that sell incredibly well.
It almost feels like it's too late for someone else to challenge those three unless it's someone as rich as Google.
TLOU had possibly the best intro of any game I've ever played, I didn't like the game as a whole but the intro was fantastic.
I don't remember having a problem with them at the time, I'm sure I looked into their three polygon faces and read every intended emotion in them but yeah it's part of the game that hasn't aged well. At least they were iconic and distinctive designs.
