Yep, see one and you've seen them all.
Good news is that judging by the industrial language they aren't interested in toning anything else down and all the wacky or controversial bits should still be in there.
Your comment history is funny, literally nothing else to say other than trash talk about Sony.
I know what you mean but I don't think that mainly pressing X for regular attack and then mixing it up with magic etc is going to much different to pressing square more often for regular attack, then doing that snazzy pause and accessing the menus.
Add to that maybe targeting different parts and using the environment strategically and the combat might turn out pretty well.
That looks good. The animation looks very natural, from a distance it looks like a real game. A reworked master league too, good news for me seeing as it's the only thing I play.
It reminds me of the bit in Back to the Future where Marty blows everyone's mind by playing a song from the future, the way this game looks and the scale that it has I struggle to get my head around how they're pulling it off.
Time travelling wizards, it's the only explanation.
From reading the article it sounds like at best they could match Sony, I see nothing whatsoever to suggest that they will dominate. That's assuming that there are a multitude of banging Xbox exclusives that haven't been announced yet, if they don't transpire then...dominate? Nah.
It's always nice to imagine something better than the reality of what you end up getting but that doesn't look good at all. Really cheesy and boring. At least Fallen Order looks solid mechanically if a little uninspired.
Ok it looks a bit rough around the edges but it's full of character and it feels like something fresh and interesting.
I don't only play games that are really original and unique or I'd hardly play anything but a lot of the time a new game feels like the same old same old with a different skin and I can't really be bothered to get through it.
I do tend to look for something that'll give me a new experience these days.
Fair to say. How excited you are for the game probably depends on how much value you place on innovation compared to solid gameplay. It has the latter but does it have the former?
I couldn't get into Rita's story, it was cliched and poorly written. Plus that part where she fisted an orangutan was in horribly bad taste.
Didn't have any of the wow factor that I was hoping for but the combat looks solid and punchy. I'm not sure it'll be for me it looks a bit too generic.
When did Miyazaki claim to be original? It's a bit much to expect him to come up with a brand new and wildly original game every time isn't it? Bloodborne was different as was Sekiro and this new game might be even more so for all you know.
Well this is a potentially brilliant combination of talent. I like the name and logo, sounds like it might be a twisted version of the Elder Scrolls and Lord of the Rings.
Can't believe it's taken them this long, way too late for me to care much unfortunately. I guess that they couldn't tie it in to making money off shark cards and therefore it was almost zero priority, despite how much people wanted it.
Nobody wants them to so they probably will yeah.
SP Elder Scrolls skipped an entire generation so it's not surprising they haven't bothered with E3. Been too long.
Looks cool.
I'm tired of the usual open world formula but I doubt that's what this will be. If you were to make a list of tropes that you find in the majority of open world games I don't expect you'll be ticking many of them off in the Elden Ring.
Should feel fresh and I have faith Miyazaki has good reasons for tackling it. He's earned that faith many times over.
