Nobody does quests like these guys.
It's a genre I'm just now getting into, nearly finished my third year on Stardew and articles like these are useful because I know nowt about the genre. Is it just me or do the pixel game look much better, I'll take a well done 2D over a basic looking 3D any day.
I've never heard of Tacoma but I really liked Gone Home so cheers for that.
I feel like Salt and Sanctuary is often overlooked and underrated. It's a love letter to Dark Souls and it translates it perfectly into 2D, it also has excellent platforming. Think it was made by a husband and wife team and they did a great job. I preferred it to Hollow Knight which is also excellent but gets more recognition it seems to me.
Saying that at some point there is a moral line to be drawn isn't the same as saying that the media should never show anything that might be uncomfortable. Don't know where you cooked that idea up from.
People always say that because it's a game and not real anything goes. However how many of us would be comfortable with for example seeing child abuse in a game? Nobody would, which means that there is a line to be drawn and it's worth discussing beyond flat out stating that it's pretend and it doesn't matter what happens.
Personally killing child zombies is realistic and not a big deal to me but I think it's overly simplistic to see these issues in str...
It's comically difficult to hit targets right in front of you isn't it, but trying to do so in the dappled shade of a forest was some of the most fun I've had in a game for ages. So satisfying when you finally aim true and hit one.
The green is nice but I'd prefer it if the white parts were black, maybe a gold accent here and there to set it off.
If it's good it's good. A lot of single player games are good. It's not rocket science.
Bit daft to write it off as a "dumbass Souls like game" when it's made by the people who created and make the Souls games.
I agree, it feels like I've got older and matured but JRPGs have stayed exactly the same while the rest of the industry has soared.
They could do with a reboot of sorts imo, a new game that breaks the mould and sets the new standard would help.
The Witcher 3 wouldn't have worked in first person, this wouldn't work in third person, I'd advise getting over it because it's really not important and if you pretend it is you may miss out on enjoying what looks like one of the major gaming events in recent history.
If it's anything like TW3 there will be plenty of nicely shot and lengthy cutscenes in which you will see your character.
Andromeda even managed to downgrade the attractiveness of the actress playing the female lead by putting her in the game. The real life actress is good looking, the game version looks goofy as hell. Pretty weird.
It never looked anything other than awful. Maybe if they'd sacked off the stealth and polished the gunplay it could have had some old school shooter charm.
"Besides the games" ...
As in the one point of a console.
It's not trying to fool anyone it's just telling people's statements. Whether you believe them or not is up to the individual. Radio stations across the planet are taking his songs off the airwaves.
Certainly not the best time to be referencing Jackson with the Leaving Neverland documentary currently convincing loads of people about what he was.
I have but only temporarily, I'm at one of those stages where the backlog needs to be dealt with. Deffo getting it once I've finished off a few games.
"We insist that they are not zombies" - we talk to Bend Studios about PS4 zombie game
Quite enjoyed that headline, bit naughty but it's true, they are zombies. Doesn't matter to me though, supposedly we're drowning in zombie games but I can't remember the last one I played.
I respect Nintendo and what they do. My Gameboy was my introduction to gaming and I played all the classics on my SNES. I have almost zero interest in their games these days apart from the odd one, personally I think they should try to move with the times more and continue to provide their classic games alongside games that stand shoulder to shoulder with what the other consoles can do technically.
Sales wise they're doing well so I guess they're fine with doing th...
That's like saying that Fallout 3 was a first person shooter, it had that as part of the gameplay but it's missing the point by a mile. Cyberpunk is a fully fledged deep adult RPG that happens to have pretty decent looking shooting in it.
