A good game is a good game.
Looking forward to this one a lot. I'm a fan of the bloody violence and dark tone it has, wouldn't be surprised if the lore was genuinely interesting too from what I've seen and heard.
If the gameplay and game structure holds up it should be a winner.
Remake like Resi 2 and FF7 I meant to say, the OPs confusion rubbed off on me.
Good news for me personally, I went off stealth games years ago for some reason. Used to love them.
I forget sometimes that when you're talking about and maybe criticising games on here for instance, the people you're talking to might be experiencing that game in the same way that I did games like FF7 when I played it as a kid and had my mind blown.
I get that playing a remaster of an old favourite runs the risk of brutally showing you that it was nowhere near as good as you expected but when it's a remaster like Resi 2 and FF7 it's a new experience and if...
I take it that's a no then, shame they should reintroduce it in the next GT it was one of the most fun parts of the series.
Looks a little bit rough doesn't it but like it wouldn't affect your enjoyment of it, unless it's riddled with bugs I guess. I'm not a big fan of hiding horror games either but Sinking looks like it's got a fair bit of shooting in it.
@tree fiddy
So can you do what I said and turn an old banger into a race car by upgrading its parts and tuning it? That was more or less the main thing I enjoyed about GT.
Me neither, if it was an SP game designed around an innovative and fun career mode with the ability to turn a Daewoo supermini into a competitive rally car then I'd be interested. If it's an online focused game with a half arsed nod to its SP past then I'm not really bothered.
And why does Phil want it so badly, because he's a top bloke and wants everyone to be equal? Or because he smells defeat and thinks it might drag his company back into it? I know which is more likely.
The first film was just about almost nearly ok and it got worse from there, couldn't care less about any characters from them or storylines they concocted.
I sympathise to an extent but I like to think that if I made a game I'd have the basic common sense not to open myself up to a lawsuit by blatantly copying someone else's name.
Agreed, it looks very interesting. Good to have something new and original to play isn't it, some companies seem stuck in a rut churning out endless sequels with little imagination.
If we're only talking exclusives then there aren't many I'm desperate to see a film of, Uncharted already is an interactive film as are a few others mentioned, more or less.
I have always wanted to see a film or series of Dark Souls/Bloodborne, ideally fleshing out some of the fascinating and pitch black lore behind some of the more grotesque and interesting characters.
It doesn't really look improved since I last saw it but it already looked good so that's fine. Cool to see more levels and bosses, it's shaping up well. Such a metal game.
I know what you mean. On the plus side it does speak of confidence in the product that they're happy to tease it like they are, if it turned out to be shite they'd look foolish but I doubt that will happen.
I don't know about sick. Sad and lonely for sure.
Stunning isn't it, I spent a lot of time in Beauclair gazing at it and the views from high up. Whoever designed it and Geralt's vineyard did a sterling job.
The Witcher 3, the Blood and Wine DLC. I had to delete it to free up space and after taking an age to finally finish it I was so reluctant to turn it off for the last time. I loved the storytelling of that DLC and Toussaint itself.
I don't usually get into game stories that much but TW3 is something really special.
Must admit I would have preferred more of a Berserk aesthetic to a cheese fest.
