It looks ok.
The monsters look good but nothing else does really and the spotty voice acting drags it down. It got off to a bad start when I couldn't invert Y and had to slog through the intro like that. I'll give it another go after I've finished Uncharted 4, now that's what a AAA looks like.
No it is World. Disappointing so far given the hype.
Monster Hunter is described as a triple A behemoth but from my time with it so far it feels like a remastered PS2 game. Ropey graphics and terrible voice acting and animations to go with them. I know a AAA when I see it and that ain't one.
Yeah I think this is censorship of something quite specific that Sony doesn't want to be associated with, and I don't blame them. It's grubby and controversial.
I don't see any evidence of it heralding a new era of hardcore censorship by Sony.
Looks good, I've only just started the first one that's how far behind I am. Creating your character was a good call, Irish Geralt from the first game wasn't interesting enough to carry the series.
1. Bloodborne
2. God of War
Dunno about the rest, loads of great games that could take 3. Bloodborne can't be beaten for me as good as God of War is.
OTT version of 6 rather.
Probably aye but you know what I mean, it was a lot closer than an even more OTT version of 7 would have been.
Fair play to Capcom for taking the series back to its roots with Resi 7 and not making another all action bit of fluff. There must have been pressure on them to do just that given the sales of 6.
Hold on, there's a Miyazaki and Martin collaboration to be revealed in a few weeks? Sweet. I know nobody is impressed with series 8 of Thrones and it's cool to crap on it but that is a potentially very exciting combination of talent.
Bless you trying to comfort yourself.
I'll never sleep with Sofia Vergara either but there's no point dwelling on it.
Doesn't bode well for a sequel to a very generic Souls rip off to be in development hell. Don't get me wrong I finished the first game and it was ok but I wasn't left wanting more.
Bioshock sprang to mind immediately, probably the most interesting game world I've ever been in and I'd love to experience it again for the first time. Plus the twist knocked me for six.
At this point without having seen any significant gameplay and so pretty much being in the dark I would have preferred turn based, but I came to terms with it ages ago that they weren't going down that route and it's left me with an open mind about it. It helps that the recent trailer looks really good.
It's not like I don't enjoy ARPGs so there's a chance it might work and I'm prepared to wait and see rather than write it off.
For example I can't watch anything with Tom Cruise in since I found out he's nuts and a Scientologist. When it comes to games I want to see Kratos as a real person not a collection of polygons and mathematics.
Same as TW, little to none. It says in the article that TW3 has a tonne of them but I'm finishing the DLC off now and while there's a lot to do you don't have to eat, drink, sleep or have a roof over your head which is the stuff I associate with life sim elements. They should stick with that.
Same as films the less I know about what happens behind the scenes the happier I am. I'm sure it's interesting but it kills a bit of the magic.
Yeah that's a big problem I have with Souls knock offs, they think they have to copy the bare bones storytelling too, but none of them do it well enough to justify the attempt.
