Yes really, people have played this very demo and none have said a thing about the game being downgraded, just like BGST you're trying to use clickbait nonsense for views.

The footage on the right in the video is compressed and encoded at a sub native resolution than the one being rendered native on a real PS4, sad attempt to get views.

Nonsense, this demo has been played on real PS4s at many conventions now and no one that has played it has said a thing about it being downgraded, if anything YouTube doesn't do it justice and that footage on the right in this video is clearly compressed and encoded at a sub native resolution than the one being rendered natively by the PS4.

As for your point about Guerrilla being resource hogs, it's a lie, the studio (just like Naughty Dog, Santa Monica, etc) , desi...

Obviously the footage on the right is from a highly compressed stream, the left is a direct feed capture from the launch PS4.
Tonnes of people have played this gameplay demo, running on real PS4s at conventions and none have said a thing about footage being downgraded. Guerrilla are excellent at optimization, much like Naughty Dog, Santa Monica, etc they design their code to be as refined as possible throughout development, so that by the time they start showing footage off it's ...

I literally meant it as I wrote it, whether it's a remaster of the PS3/360 RDR (PS4, XB1 & Pc gamers want, so why not Switch ones too), port of GTA 5 Remastered, RDR2 and GTA 6/insert name (of next AAA standalone GTA game) when Rockstar makes it, getting any of those game on Switch would be great for the platform.

It all depends on the games and how long the system, software and accessories stay at those ridiculous prices.
If Steep is really coming to Switch and runs in both portable and docked mode then devs shouldn't have issues running PS4, XB1 & PC multiplats on it with reduce settings at about half XB1 when docked, a quarter in portable mode (based on 256 Maxwell Cuda Cores clocked at 307.2/768Mhz).
Some multiplats may require sub 720p resolutions and Low-Med settings, wi...

Ignorance? Whether Zelda is the best game this year is up for debate, PS4 has Horizon right before Zelda lands, which has all who've played it saying it's phenomenal and a GoTY 2017 contender.
Ni-Oh before that, Gravity Rush 2 very soon, Ni No Kuni 2, probably God of War (4) and it's the only platform getting all of those games, along with the major western 3rd Party Multiplats like Mass Effect: Andromeda and potentially Read Redemption 2.

XB1 at least...

What I posted was correct when I posted it, even now googling exchange rates £1=$1.1989, that's still £250.22.
Also why are you using the Euro? My post is about pounds vs dollars.

@Aenea: VAT is included in UK prices, comparing prices of other systems between regions there's usually no extra markup, which how it's always been.

I stand by the price comparisons I made earlier, Nintendo are ripping customers off with Switch, th...

Do you have proof of this?

The battery size, life and level of visuals running on the system don't support Switch using Pascal.
So far the credible sources (Eurogamer, LKD & ER) have only said Maxwell and a version of the Tegra X1 are in the system.

I notice you don't deal with issues like price, yet you call me a Sony sheep I educate and use logic, not exactly herd like behavior, unlike yourself who's just following the Nintendo...

Switch still would have made them a profit at $249.99, the tech in it just doesn't justify a $299.99 price.
Switch has the portability factor, which would have helped it sell, along with a few great exclusives in the first year, but it's too prohibitively expensive to maintain any momentum after launch.

If Gamecube had allowed a reasonable fraction of PS2's performance, in a portable package, that connects to your TV and costs about as much as PS2 did i...

Same, that £80 should cover the cost of 2 AAA exclusives, £199.99 is the right price for Switch, even £249.99 would have been too much when you can get a brand new PS4 with Overwatch and Ratchet & Clank for that.
You have to also add in the cost of extra storage, a 128GB SDXC card adds £27.99 to that £279.99 so you're looking at £307.98 for a measly 160GBs of storage and even if you don't buy that SDXC card and stick with the 32GBs, a decent...

£1 = $1.2183, so £279.99 = $341.11, $299.99 = £246.23, Switch should be about £249.99 based on exchange rates converted, even if you account for transporting fully made and boxed consoles to the UK it shouldn't add £30 ($36.55) to the UK price.

With Switch's launch pricing Nintendo are trying to gouge the diehards, who absolutely must have this day one, when the sales inevitably tank in the weeks and months after launch Switch will have a si...

Technically they are, since they're on two different types of devices.
Iphone is a phone, iPad is a tablet, the thing is that those devices are a major source of revenue and profit for Apple before the company even looks at app sales, console platforms rely on exclusives to differentiate themselves and be an incentive to get people to buy into that ecosystem, phones and tablets don't, a model of each makes that company a decent profit from day one or it's dropped from the...

Everything about the Switch is a ripoff, from the Console which costs £279.99 in the UK (1TB XB1-S with 2 games or a 500GB PS4 with 4 games can be bought for that), to the games and the accessories.
God only knows what the online subscription will cost, I've heard rumblings of $5 a month, which will allow you access to one Virtual Console NES or SNES download which you can only keep for that month, both Sony and MS services give you access to 4+ games a month and you keep ac...

If Mario and Xenoblade 2 release this year yes, hell considering XB1 doesn't have any real exclusives slated for 2017 it's not hard for Switch to beat it with Splatoon 2 and Arms, just as with Crackdown 3, Halo Wars and the other XBox Play Anywhere games aren't exclusives, MK8 is also not an exclusive because it's on another system.

XB1 will trump Switch when it comes to overall volume of games and Switch won't be getting the likes of Mass Effect, Red De...

A 10,000mah battery pack adds $10.49 to the price of the package.

No people should keep comparing Switch to the other consoles, it's more expensive for way weaker tech, has very little in the way of games announced for it and at this point it's not even getting many ports of multiplats.
Nintendo are fine to make great portable system, but this is meant to count as their latest home console, it's only a marginal step above the Wii U.

$50 is easily the price of a game.
A 10,000 mah battery only costs $10.49, the Switch Tablet has a 4,310 mah battery and each Joycon comes with a 525 mah battery built in, batteries of decent size are cheap nowadays.

Being able to bring Nintendo games on the go is great, but the cost of this thing at retail is massively over inflated for the tech inside, way too high compared to how much you pay for a PS4 or XB1 and those systems have a much bigger canvas for devel...

$249 would have been fine, plus it should have come with Arms and 1, 2 Switch for that price, maybe even Snipper Clips, those kinds of games were included with Wii and Wii U.

Switch will have issues selling post launch, so Nintendo will be forced to drop it's price and they can afford to when you consider the tablet has old 2015 Nvidia Maxwell gpu architecture, lpddr4 is cheap in the quantities Switch uses, that 6.2 inch 720p screen is cheap to buy for Nintendo.

Here in the UK Switch with 32GBs of flash storage and no game costs £279.99, the video games store Game has a 1TB XB1-S with Gears 4 and either The Division or Fallout 4 for that price.
You can also get a 500GB PS4, with Overwatch and Ratchet & Clank for £249.99, Doom and Fallout 4 only cost £14 each, so for £2 less than Switch I can buy a new PS4 with 4 great games.

Switch should have been £199.99, with Arms & 1,2 Switch packed in....

I know them very well, when 3DS wasn't selling at launch they dropped it from $249 to $169.99, this was just under 6 months after launch.

Switch's price is hugely over inflated. Seriously it's a $299 device with a 720p screen launching in 2017, that uses a cheap Nvidia Maxwell gpu from 2015, a 4,310Mah battery in the console (you can buy 10,000 mah battery packs for $10.49, that's with retailer's mark-up).
That dock is just a hunk of cheap plast...
