I think I read that they're big enough to house 4X Indie size teams, like 10-15 people per project.
Matterfall and Nex Machina may not be far off completion, Alienation is out, so besides DLC for that they may only have 3 games in development total.

Housemarque's games aren't huge resource hogs, even if they decided to make something like WiLD or No Man's Sky they probably have enough staff to make another game besides the 3 they've confirmed.

I'm pretty sure Nex Machina is confirmed for this year, Matterfall could be too.

I'm interested to see what kind of game Matterfall is, some people think it's got a similar style to Resogun, just with a character and jump mechanics, I'd love to see them do a third person shooter, with platforming.

@Abizzel1: COD:IW on PS4 uses around 44GB, MW Remaster's download was 37GBs, btw compression can take care of file size limitations.
Switch doesn't have a max cartridge size of 32GB, standard cartridges are 16GB, but considering SD cards can go up to 2TB in theory, which Switch has been confirmed to handle and retail models are already available at 512GBs, Switch cartridges can have more storage than 32GBs.

Switch cartridge games don't need to be instal...

It's not clear that the 80% of XB1 performance is for the retail console, considering pascal wouldn't even be efficient enough to allow a 512 Cuda Core gpu to fit a box the size of the release units without driving temps through the roof it's likely the benchmarks are for a dev kit.
Dev kits usually require about 2X retail units to allow for a performance overhead to handle extra computing for debugging game code.

Even at 1/5th of XB1 performance in por...

As a Switch sceptic I'm well aware Switch is limited in numbers day one and that effects it's appeal to publishers (plus Nintendo's poor relationship with the wider industry as a whole), but whether the system gets the game or not may depend heavily on whether it can run it.
TBH Destiny is a system seller and having it there would likely drive sales for the device up, having a portable userbase would mean Activision and Bungie can sell more copies of everything to do with...

The article's headline makes it seem like Forbes has some evidence supporting that the next COD is likely to come to Switch, but it's just the writer's opinion that COD 2017 should be coming, with no statement from anyone who could know about the platforms it's launching on.

Personally I think COD:IW and the MW4 remake should launch with Switch on the system's release day, plus the next game in the series should be there this Fall, along with Destiny and...

I think it would be a great idea for Nintendo to have a Switch focused Direct just prior to the system's launch, but it all depends on what Nintendo has ready to reveal or what they feel they need to show.

Virtual Console is probably the biggie early adopters could want to know about, but also release dates for the post launch, pre-E3 games.

With launch stock being sold out Nintendo may feel they don't have to say anything until E3.

Shadowfall was the 4th game in the franchise.

The Amsterdam Studio had about 50 people that were working on some unknown thing besides Horizon between shipping Killzone Shadowfall up to late June of last year.
They could have been prepping the next big game for the Studio to start working on.

Herman Hulst has recently said that Killzone is still very much a huge part of their DNA.

Guerrilla finished KZSF in October 2013, HZD began full development after that and Horizon had a team of 150 people working on that game for the majority of the last 3 and a half years.
The Amsterdam studio consists of about 200 people, the other 50 guys that weren't on Horizon had to be doing something.
Those 50 guys helped out on Horizon for the last 9 months, prior to that they were doing something else.
It's not inconceivable for 50 people to have been w...

From what can be seen in that Sony patent it doesn't appear to have detachable controllers and tbh the idea Switch uses has been done by others before Nintendo made Switch, the Aikun Morphus X300 had the same kind of sliding off controllers and the console/tablet can be connected to your TV using a dock.
You can buy controls to connect to the side of any tablet and there are numerous ways to connect any portable device to your tv, including tablets and phones.

Seems like blatant clickbait for views.
In order for a game to warrant a 5 out of 10 it would have poor technical performance, be poor in scope, lack content, lack variety in the environment, have basically no story, with poor gameplay, sound design and visuals.
A 5 out of 10 is a game with nothing going for it, which isn't even what this reviewer says in her ramblings.

There is no balanced assessment of the game's merits in this article, like how ...

Looks good, but I'd like to see something of the single player campaign.
It'd be cool if Nintendo also has a Switch copy of Splatoon 1 with a bundle version of both games for people that didn't get a Wii U and those that would like to play Splatoon 1 on Switch.

At the least 343 and Turn 10 are large enough to put 50 to 100 people on developing a new IP each, alongside Xbox's tentpole franchises, hell 343 has some 450 people working there, I find it hard to believe they don't have the creative talent to work on something besides Halo and with sales and decent reception of their Halo games Microsoft should have faith they can make something fresh and new.

When The Coalition were called Black Tusk they were tasked with creati...

Even Wii U had Assassin's Creed, Batman, Mass Effect, a COD game and a few others at launch, despite all off those having new, recent releases Switch doesn't have it's own releases of any of those coming day one.

Despite development apparently being easy and quick on Switch it's not happening.
If developers really wanted to be there at launch they could have been.
Publishers understandably have no faith that their games will sell on a Ninte...

Nintendo are calling the Switch a home console, it's releasing at a price point higher than the competition, so it needs to provide as many games as possible to make it worthwhile for people to buy the system and those reasons to buy will simply not be as great without 3rd party.

Even if you're the kind of gamer that already owns PS4 or XB1, the flexibility of a device that can travel with you gives you a reason to double dip on the games you really love and if you&...

So Sony are damned when they release sequels and damned when they release fresh, new IPs.
Did the company not just release Gravity Rush 2, Uncharted 4 and a new Ratchet game in the last 10 months, while also allowing Cory Barlog and co to make a new God of War, Japan Studio to take another punt at Knack and allow Polyphony Digital the time work on a new Gran Turismo?

They've allowed their proven Industry leading talent to have unprecedented freedom to make the ...

I wouldn't be surprised to see another Horizon game release as the PS4's swan song in 2019, maybe another Spring release just before PS5 launches in the Fall.
This game looks set to receive industry wide critical acclaim and sell like hotcakes, no reason why it shouldn't have new game releases like The Last of Us should.

I think it's most likely that GoW will end up being a 2017 release, given that the game looked great at E3, was already running well above it's 30FPS target on the base PS4 and the recent milestone of it being playable from start to finish, at that point you're entering the polishing phase of development and QA testing.

I could see SIE Santa Monica going gold around E3 time and launching early Summer or late at the latest.
We'll probably get a new t...
