@system22, all of the roadside spectators are flat 2D models, proof:
https://www.youtube.com/wat... pause the game wherever there are people on the side of the road & they're clearly 2D, flat, cardboard cutout like models, in no way 3D.
As for your claims about Driveclub's physics, they're all refuted in this Playstation blog post, which is official, from the developers...
LMAO, only fanboys say things like you've said here.
The differences between games on 360 & PS3 were even smaller last gen, compared to multiplats this generation, yet Xbox Fanboys made an even bigger deal out of it than PS4 fanboys do this generation.
Objective people realize there's a difference & buy the version of the game for the platform they prefer, for whatever reason personal to them.
Fanboys in general are the problem with th...
How easy it is to obtain 60 FPS depends on the game and how much of each scene within that game is rendered per frame.
Just because a game may be open world, that doesn't mean it's automatically more demanding than a linear title.
The linear title may have to render several magnitudes more details into a given play area than the open world game.
@UltraNova GT has had Formula One cars in it for some time, I don't mind PD adding to the roster.
TBH personally I hope they just try to make the cars & tracks they do have look & feel as realistic as possible, while locking down that magical 1920X1080 60FPS.
Oh yeah, Kazunori Yamauchi said himself that best case scenario it could come out this year, because PD didn't want to take too long:
http://www.topgear.com/uk/c...
""We don't want to take too long on Gran Turismo 7," Kazunori told us. "Best-case scenario? Next year. In GT6 we really had to tune the software 100 per cent to max...
Andrew House did say that Insomniac are re-imagining the 1st Rachet & Clank for PS4, apparently it'll have revamped gameplay & graphics to rival the best looking PS4 games, it'll release in the 1st half of 2015.
I would imagine that with the Sly Cooper movie coming in 2016 that a PS4 release could be made by Sucker Punch & unveiled at next years E3.
This egotistical, self entitlement is hilarious.
More than half of these games are outright owned by platform creators, it's never going to happen legally, unless something happens to any of these companies.
These games don't need to be anywhere besides where the publishers want them to be.
Consoles are around for good reasons, the 1st being that there's a huge market for them, they're easier to use for the majority of people ...
Every Playstation console needs them (home & handheld), there's nothing wrong with bringing back franchises people love.
I was so happy when Andrew House said that Ratchet & Clank will be coming to PS4 in the 1st half of next year.
Sly Cooper has to be on the way sometime in 2016 also with the movie release happening for that game that year.
I think J&D and R&C are the platformers that most gamers want.
I can't agree, Knack was a great launch title for PS4, it was lots of fun, challenging on the right settings & it was one of the only platform games available between PS4 & XBox One at launch.
The franchise has a lot of potential & that game was a great base to start from.
This developer isn't talking about the ICE team, he's talking about Ready at Dawn, guys that don't have much experience outside of PSP games or using relatively weak home console hardware.
The ICE team are located at Naughty Dog & Naughty Dog are talking about their 1st 2 games on PS4 being 1080p 60FPS with the best graphics yet shown on a console, in both games.
Gamescom's actually more gamer centric than E3, it's most definitely not Vita focused.
This will likely be where Media Molecule & Guerrilla Games unveil their new IPs for PS4.
Maybe even Sony London, as they're working on something that sounds a lot like The Getaway.
I would agree about TGS, IMO Polyphony Digital will probably announce their next GT game for PS4 & Team ICO may unveil The Last Guardian & perhaps show official gameplay, w...
Totally agree, much better than Forza 5 & Horizon 2 combined IMO.
Can't wait for this game, it just looks so special from the level of realism, to how it connects everyone together, to how competitive & challenging the races appear to be.
Day one purchase for me.
Sony weren't defeated, they had far more surprises, way more announcements for exclusives, with actual real time footage of at least in-engine stuff.
IMO Sony's conference was definitely the best compared to Microsoft's even with the dull stuff from Shawn Layden's chat & the stuff about that TV show & the Ratchet & Clank movie, but R&C led into Andrew House announcing a remake of R&C 1.
TLOU looked like a PS4 game.
...
This level of visuals at 1080p 60FPS is all anyone should ask for.
The fact that a £350 box can achieve that is simply astounding.
Just imagine what games could be like in even 2 years.
Naughty Dog are amazing.
Nope, it's 12:39 am here in the uk, it's meant to be on at 2am over here, so it's about 1 hour 20mins away.
Yep, Microsoft's conference was basically a lesson to all at E3 what you shouldn't do.
It's fine to have 3rd party, but don't make them your main focusing point.
If you're going to announce new games than have actual gameplay, nothing new was even in-engine.
Best I could give it is a C-, though I think closer to a D fits better.
I give props to Phil Spencer for his E3 introduction & humble manner, but I think t...
I'm looking forward to giving that game a try.
I wouldn't be shocked if we do, I don't see why it can't be a 2014 release.
It's been in development for over 3 years, it's probably at least in Alpha by now.
Forza Horizon was a copy of Project Gotham Racing, which originally came from the Dreamcast, just with the Forza name slapped on it, which as S2Killinit said was a copy of Gran Turismo.
Driveclub is unique in it's club system, because having fewer people means you pick people that are good & have a more elite team, just like in a sports team, I mean Playground just copied Driveclub by mentioning clubs & tried to one up Evolution by saying "you can have a thou...
