There are very few games that you NEED the hard drive for. Mostly, it boils down to online stuff - if you want anything online (Online play, Marketplace, DLC, etc.), you'll want a Hard Drive, but if not, you can get away without one. And considering about 1/3 of all 360s have never went online, there's definitely a market for it.
Pretty much anyone on this site is going to want a hard drive, because anyone "hardcore" enough to go online and look up gaming news is almost certai...
Three people, at the time of posting, have so far claimed that "Jack Bauer" would be the best person to play snake.
His name is Kiefer Sutherland, people! Jack Bauer is just ONE character he's played. Honestly, if you all think Solid Snake == Jack Bauer, there's a good chance he'd turn down the role due to feeling typecast.
Well if you like racing games, he's got a point. What else is coming out in October? Blur? I wouldn't get your hopes up on that one.
I realise you're trolling, but the ironic thing is that that would actually be rather interesting.
You try calculating the position of an object in 3D space from two cameras.
Games like this are built on secrets. They say the average first-time run is about 6-8hours, that's not a 100% completion.
You calling Syndicate "Meh"? Sacrilege!
I think it looks great and I've always been a fan of ID's technology, but since Doom 3 the faces of characters has really irritated me.
They just look...weird, like they're made out of clay or wax or something.
I know why this happens, it's to do with how they create a high-polygon model, texture it, then wrap that texture around a low-polygon model. It gives you great looking detail, but areas like the lips and stuff look strange.
I was hoping they'd have changed that buy n...
I'm not sure ODST is going to be a system shifter. It'll probably sell millions, but its a sequel to Halo 3, anyone that's going to be interested in ODST is probably going to be interested in Halo 3 and if that is the case, why don't they have a 360 already?
One thing not in the article: [citation needed]
Stick to the open zone where you belong.
Sure, it's a bit like fallout in setting. But then, so are quite a few games. STALKER comes to mind and that came before Fallout 3 (although admittedly well after Fallout 1 and 2).
Because that $50 doesn't go towards ANYTHING else.
Oh and silver accounts can have friends as well. Same limitation. What was your point again?
Oh yeah, that PSN was somehow superior because it has the same limitation.
Lets face it, NEITHER are superior when it comes to that. Paid or unpaid, doesn't matter, you still only get 100 people.
I don't have anywhere near 100 friends on my friends list, but I think its incredibly naive for anyone to outrightly say that you DON'T need more than 100 friends.
If you didn't, it wouldn't be an issue, but clearly for many it is. Just because you don't have 100 people on your list doesn't mean others don't. Just because you can't think of a reason to have more than 100 people doesn't mean that other people don't have one.
Someone once misquoted Bill Gates as saying "...
Trollimite's logic is brilliant. PSN has the same cap, but its free so its better. Uhh, sure.
Some people like to keep their identity you know. Oh and trophies, nice to have them all on one account, not spread over 5.
Microsoft has been using it, read the article - Rare has been using it for years.
It's news because it's a pretty big deal for Havok.
I'm not a huge halo fan at all, I think its vastly overrated and stuff, but you have to respect that figure. For all the naysayers (including myself), it must do something right.
Because 1 in 2 (or what the hell, lets say the PS3 is going to hit 30Million soon - 1 in 3) playstation 3 owners are going to buy it?
Wishful thinking, the game isn't even that big outside of the US.
If anything, that's MORE reason to go to this convention. Really poor effort on Valve's part.
This has nothing to do with XNA, XNA is a completely separate thing.
Bit of a pointless article, it basically recaps some of the evidence pointing towards the PS3 price cut and the 360 Pro being discontinued and leaves it at that. What's the mistake? Why could it be a mistake?
