Yeah, ANYTHING relating to Halo or Microsoft is crap, right?
Note: Sarcasm may be present within this message.
It's like Dogging, but for Anime porn!
Geohot found a bug in the system which, until now, doesn't allow you to do ANYTHING of merit with the PS3. There's not a single "hack" out there to speak of that in any way enables Piracy, or anything even close.
Furthermore, with full disclosure of the hack, Sony has everything they need (including the source code) to patch and fix this flaw, yet instead of actually doing this, they're just disabling that Feature. A feature that many people use and paid for when they bought t...

You mean on your desktop? It has the same functionality as Vista, but chances are you've got "auto-arrange" switched on.
Right click an empty area of the desktop -> View -> UNTICK "Auto Arrange Icons".
Hey presto, manually arranging them.
You can change the views just like in older versions of windows. Personally, I've always preferred "details" view.
Yes, apparently I'm "dense" for pointing out something quite obvious. Because what, Microsoft is going to dedicate an entire conference to showing off the same "breakout" demo they showed for 20mins last year? And just to let the press "soak it in"? What are you even talking about?
Microsoft obviously has stuff to show. It might not be very interesting to you or I, it might not be half as revolutionary as they make it out to be, but they definitely h...
That wont be from in game, but I think some of us might be looking a bit TOO much into it. Perhaps, when they say "something big is dropping", they're referring to whatever is being reflected in the Visor and it's just something you can do/use ingame?
Oh well, one way to find out.
If they have nothing to show, then why are they having TWO separate E3 presentations this year, with one being dedicated entirely to the Product?
Obviously, Microsoft are playing their cards very close to their chest, so why not just sit back and wait for the fireworks to happen?
Could be great, could be crap, but either way it'll certainly be interesting to watch.
fedex682 - The reason game journalists have not asked "how is Natal Different from Eyetoy" is because they've been paying attention to the press releases that MS have made and realise that the EyeToy works entirely in 2 dimensions while Natal works in 3 dimensions.
For example - the EyeToy gets lost when you put your hand behind your back, but Natal knows roughly where it'll be.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not badmouthing the EyeToy, after all how old is that tech...
The thing is, you should never buy ANYTHING based on what it can "potentially" do, only what it DOES do and what it can do for you, because sometimes devices never live up to their potential.
I'm looking into getting a HTC Desire myself as it looks incredible, but I'm aware that when Android 2.2 or 2.5 or whatever comes out, I'll probably have to do without the upgraded features. I'm fine with that, I wanted the phone for what it can do now, not what it might do in the future....
He has a DEVELOPMENT kit, that's not a retail 360. It will accept any sized HDD you put in it.
Other things it can do -
* Play "unsigned" code (that means it'll play anything that hasn't been approved by Microsoft, such as your own code or "patched" retail games)
* Play games/apps straight from your PC using a USB connection
* Access "PartnerNET". PNET is, basically, Xbox Live for 360 developers. Pre-release XBLA titles go up...
Sure and that serial cannot be changed (the 360 wont read the drive if it's not correctly signed), but the HDD stuff has been known about for over 4 years now and MS has never so much as restricted a single HDD, let alone ban or suspend anyone for it. Yeah, there's always a risk but it isn't worth it for Microsoft to go after them, not that many people do it and if they DO do it, it's just more room for marketplace downloads.
"You can put a 250gb inside your old 20gb caddy using a tutorial on the net and save a small fortune if you like however you will get banned from live for doing so."
No you wont, nobody has ever been banned due to having a "home made" HDD. In fact, Microsoft can't even detect them (or they'd just block them from working) and they have no way of knowing if you did it yourself or you're just a poor sap who thought they got a good deal off ebay.
I've been ...
Yeah, most of the team that did Goldeneye went on to create Free Radical, which (Much like Rare), Stagnated themselves into oblivion during the last few years. At least Rare's master has deep pockets, though.
But you know, I kind of agree with them in a twisted kind of way. I mean, sure, I'd love to see more Banjo and such, but I'd prefer to see something new, intriguing and original instead. And this doesn't just apply to Rare, it applies to most games companies out there - get ...
That is true, bur keep in mind this is a 2.5" drive, not a 3.5" drive. You'll be very hard pushed to find a 1TB 2.5" drive for anywhere near that price.
However, that's not to say this is a bargain, after all we're comparing a 250GB drive to 1TB drives. Anything over £50 is a rip-off for 250GB, be it 2.5" or whatever.
Anyone played FFXIII? I think we can all agree that "Hope" could easily go on this list.
....And Vanille, while we're at it. Oh and Ligtning....and Snow.....and pretty much everyone except Sazh and Fang.
The same kind of morons that keep bringing up that "Avatar's Shoe" thing?
Doesn't matter which side of the field you play for, being a fanboy is retarded.
Loving the half-baked article.
"These people are also asking anywhere between 1600 and 1000 Microsoft Points for access to the tenth prestige lobby. Their method of payment is usually paypal"
I didn't know Paypal dealt in Microsoft Points. Or that you could even transfer said points at all.
Here's the REAL scoop - yes, these lobbies do, in fact, exist and yes, people will pay good money to get 10th level prestige with little or no effort. But &...
