The problem is that not everyone likes to game on PC's and there is no uniform standard for PC's. I don't know anyone with a $1000 computer, most have average laptops or dell PC's. I like how there is a universal standard with consoles, and the controllers and just being able to sit back and relax.

I like Crytek, there graphics usually impress, but there is A LOT more to games and gaming than graphics.

The latest rumor says the PS4 will launch with the new Eye, so I'm guessing they will try to market the next version of Move a bit better, and that "Eye Pad" that they have patented is obviously something that is aimed towards the tablet crowd, which is Move controlled.

So I'd say it's fairly important, although I'm sure a lot of Sony fans will downplay it, fact is that all the companies need to appeal to a wide array of people, which is why they wi...

Really looking forward to it, if you pre-order at Walmart you can get 3 Gears games for the price of one.

This alone is the reason Destiny wont set the gaming world on fire, I can see the first game selling 3-5 million copies, but a lot of people wont/cant play the games online.

Look at the Halo games as an example, they usually sell 8-10 million copies, but you'll only see 500k-1 million online, which means a large portion of people who buy the game only play the campaign.

This is a bad move in my opinion, doesn't stop me from getting the game, but I&#...

I think it all comes down to preference. For me, Microsoft has always had the smoother online experience and features that I want.

I'm not taking anything away from PS+, just in my opinion that isn't so much a online service as it is a game rental service that helps quietly get people ready for digital only.

I think Microsoft is happy with Xbox Live and the billion+ that it makes yearly, and I'm sure Sony is happy with whatever number of people ...

The Destiny reveal comes days before Sony's show, the gaming industry doesn't revolve around any one company.

Microsoft doesn't control Bungie or Activision, and Destiny is a multiplatform title, so I highly doubt Microsoft has anything to do with the reveal. A lot of Sony fans are really deep into the Microsoft conspiracy theories, they don't pay places to give Sony games bad reviews, and they didn't go into some secret meeting with Activision to steal So...

It's not coming out this year because Activision didn't mention it to investors in their meetings. That is why it's hard to keep some games secret, they didn't list it in their earnings expectations and that would be foolish if they didn't plan it to release in the fiscal year.

I believe from the different things I've read and watched today that they don't want people hacking, modding, changing things around? I guess they want total control of everything. Some developers just look at the PC market as something that they really have little to no control over.

Keep in mind that I'm not against PC, just saying what I believe and have heard.

Good, they rushed that Legends game out the door quickly before they lost the rights. Not like Activision is going to be hurting for that license, not with COD, Skylanders and soon Destiny.

Considering all the top selling games are shooters....I'm gonna say no.

From what the guy at IGN said, it wont be on PC because Bungie wants total control over the game. I wouldn't get my hopes up.

So that pretty much means they switched development for Uncharted 4 to the PS4. That is pretty good news.

Nah, when Microsoft chooses to reveal the next Xbox they will do it in grand fashion. They held huge events for the original Xbox and that was broadcast on MTV, they did the same thing in the desert for the Xbox 360, they even did that big Times Square deal for Kinect.

They wouldn't let something like this leak out, I would expect that Microsoft was waiting for Gears Judgment to come out so that a new console reveal didn't hamper its sales? I'm not really sure, b...

It looks good, but I take away a few things.

1.Forcing people to always be online will kill a lot of sales, a good percentage of people buy Halo games strictly for the campaign, the fact that you cannot play the campaign offline will cause the game to flounder a bit, it definitely wont be a COD replacement or Halo killer.

2.This game looks like a good mix of different games and genre's, but it clearly looks influenced by Halo. If Bungie was trying to get...

Lightning usually doesn't strike twice, but I think those that do get the game will enjoy it better than Wii Sports, which was more of a tech demo. Nintendo Land is a ton of fun and the more people around to play, the more fun it is. I just wish they would have made it online enabled, it seems like Nintendo still doesn't understand that people want to play mini-games like that online against other people, not everyone has people that can come over every time they want to have fun with...

I think pre-owned games actually help some studios. I know there were new IP's that I didn't want to spend $60 on, so I would wait and buy them used, I'd love the game, buy DLC for it and buy the sequels new.

I think new IP's are going to have a rough go of it in a world of no used games, people are only going to want to spend money on games that they know and like. So if you think sequels are getting out of hand now, wait until there are no used games. This w...

I heard from the leaked documents that it was probably a year later, sort of like with Mass Effect 2. It doesn't matter to me, I'd buy it for the 360 anyway, if only because I have a feeling that Bungie understands that hardware better, could even be that the 8-12 months needed to wait for the PS3 version is so another team can port it over...I don't really know.

I do know that Microsoft has deep pockets and if it's a big seller I wouldn't count them out o...

I still play Symphony Of The Night on my PSP! I love that game, aside from the voice acting. So you definitely know where I'm coming from. The PS1 was when sh1t got real as far as I'm concerned.

Still have my PS1 slim and original PS1 as well.

Backwards compatibility for me is huge, I'm almost 28 years old, I still have my games from yesteryear and break them out to play. I believe for the new consoles from Sony and Microsoft that it's even more important for backwards compatibility because of the ecosystem they set forth with Achievements and Trophies, with this generation it didn't matter much to me because previous gens didn't offer them, but now that they do I find myself with over 200 games in my back catalog t...
