I called this, I wouldn't doubt if the next PS Eye can do some pretty solid motion tracking. I don't think Sony fans should be upset, Sony did a solid job of keeping the Move strictly as an option, maybe they'll get some voice commands from it?
It would be foolish to think Sony and Microsoft wouldn't try and lure in a chunk of every type of gamer.
Considering Sony had pretty much the same rumors about the lack of backwards compatibility and lack of the ability to play used games, I see it as a wait and see type of deal.
We wont know exactly what these things can do until they announce them. Seems like the pro Sony crowds believe the negative Xbox rumors and the pro Microsoft crowd believes the negative Sony rumors. At the end of the day I accept facts and facts alone.
I think their launch was pretty solid, the problem is that they didn't have a plan for early 2013. One of the toughest things for a company to do is cut first party support for a current console and put it entirely on the next, and you want those titles ready fairly early.
Microsoft since 2010 was able to reduce first party games, with the exception of certain key franchises, which allows their first party studios to work quite a bit on next generation games, which is why...
In all honesty $600 should just about be enough to buy two new consoles next generation...almost.
Since Blu Ray isn't new or expensive anymore, and the actual processors (rumored) aren't even THAT new. There is no way the next round of consoles should cost more than $400.
I've never played a Monster Hunter game, but this looks like something I would enjoy on my Wii U. Are these games good?
So in theory if you pre-order with Walmart you'll get Judgement, Gears 1 and Gears 2 if you choose? That is 3 Gears games for the price of 1, which is pretty amazing.
I like Achievements because it gives you something of a record of the games you've completed. I don't care about getting them to one-up someone and I don't compete in any way with them, I just enjoy them as a personal thing. I do wish the Wii U had them, I remember the hubbub when the PS3 launched without an Achievement system and people flipped out, not sure why Nintendo wouldn't eventually institute a system with the Wii U.
I think most sane people realize the next Xbox and PlayStation are coming out this year...
Over half the people on this site seem to prefer great graphics over everything else. I would rather have an average graphical game with a great story, decent length and great controls.
I liked New Vegas well enough, but I'd be really interested if they did a Star Wars RPG. I thought KOTOR 2 was pretty good, rushed but good. If they had a proper development time it could be great.
I already pre-ordered this with the MS store, they offered a $20 credit with a pre-order. I already have Gears 1, 2 and 3 and I have the Collectors Edition of the 1 and 3. Good idea for those new to the series though.
What of the rumor that all copies of Judgment have a download code for the first Gears game? Which would make the most sense because Judgment is the prequel to Gears 1.
Those 3 plus Snake are the reason I didn't buy it, I did rent it via Gamefly and I think it did a lot right, but was far from perfect. It's just that when you think of Sony's icons fighting each other, I always pictured those four or five...
Is that the right move for the Sony games that bundle in the extra games?
Here's hoping you get banned today! I went ahead and sent in some of these posts and reported you, gotta get the ball rolling. You make this place a joke, the sooner people like you cant post, the better.
300 MILLION? Those days are gone, if they were ever here to begin with. I think next generation wont see anywhere near that. I suspect we'll go back to a standard 5 year cycle now and I don't see those numbers in that short a time.
Do you pick up Strongmans slack now?
Microsoft released a lot of new IP's with the Xbox 360, some took off, some did not. Microsoft gave Xbox 360 owners the blockbuster titles that drew people to their console in the first place. So down talk them all you want, the majority of Xbox 360 owners are happy.
Microsoft in the last 3 years has opened 5 new game studios and bought Twisted Pixel. Their first party studios have only put out ONE Kinect game over the...
No you troll, this is something newly opened by Microsoft to help give content to Xbox Live Gold members, you know, the same Gold Members you always claim are being ripped off? Yet now that it looks like Microsoft is adding more to Xbox Live you think it's a bad thing?
Microsoft has over 20 first party studios including Black Tusk who is working on 4 new core IP's. That means new games, not sequels, not Kinect, just core IP's.
Stop trolling every ...
I'll toss a little number out, 46 million Xbox Live Gold Members, at $60 a year is 2.78 BILLION dollars yearly. Even if you cut that down because not everyone pays $60 a year, it's still over 2 billion a year.
I believe that and that alone is why Microsoft doesn't do Online Passes and why they wont drop used games. They already get a piece of the action when people buy used games because they most likely are going to buy a Gold Subscription.

In my opinion they needed Lara Croft, Crash and Spyro. Even though they aren't exclusive, a lot of people who are long time Sony gamers remembered falling in love with the PlayStation brand while playing those original games on the PS1.
Well it would depend, I usually don't buy a ton of used games, but it is a nice option. While the used game thing wouldn't be a deal breaker on its own, I usually like to take a game to my brothers place or my friends place and we'll do that quite often. So no used games would kill that and I doubt I'd buy a console that blocked them completely.
No used games and no backwards compatibility would definitely be a deal breaker.
Yea, I bought a couple of 12 month cards that were on sale for $30 each, I also have about 6 months left currently. I'll let the complainers complain, I'll just game!
