I think BO2 will definitely outsell MW3. I was a bit disappointed with MW3, I cut them some slack because I realize the dev team basically quit in the middle of development. I enjoyed the campaign greatly, but I played the online the least of any COD game.
I think Treyarch taking a chance and moving the franchise to the future will have the same effect that IW had with moving it to modern times in COD4.
Hey man, you can order a 320 gig Xbox 360 HDD for the new slim model for $65 here http://dx.com/p/genuine-xbo...
I'm not sure where you are getting your price point from. We have the internet at our disposal, I think everyone should shop around before buying anything, you can always find a deal on things like that. I bought one and its ser...
He takes a ton of flak, but it was actually Big Blue Box that made a lot of the early claims for the first Fable, he was just the outspoken spokesperson. Fable wasn't his creation at all. His company Lionhead eventually bought out Big Blue Box and changed the name from "Thingy" to "Fable", but it was actually built by the brothers who formed Big Blue Box.

I probably shouldn't feed the troll, but I'll bite anyway. I have a life, I have work, family, responsibilities, but I use gaming as a hobby and thus I always fit in time for my hobby.
Generalizing people into a category by saying they don't have a life probably isn't the smartest thing to go around spouting off at the mouth at.
It seems very much to me that you are angry for some reason and are holding some sort of vendetta towards Microsof...
Its really about time for something like this, so many people make montages or do "You Play" videos, and with the popularity of E-Sports, its a natural fit.
That is a nice option to be honest. I've never heard of any online game actually paying you for your time, so I think its pretty neat. I will have no problem sinking that much time into the multiplayer because its absolutely wonderful.
343i went from tribute band to the main attraction with Halo 4. I was skeptical at first, but Halo 4 is my new favorite in the series. Everything looks and plays like it was meant for the Xbox 360, and they made the online a bit more fast paced, but didn't sell it down the COD road.
I've always liked that Halo games had tougher competition and took quite a bit of skill to master, it keeps the casual kids away from the online.
Congrats to 343i and Mi...
I hope its more along the lines up Sonic Generations, Sonic Colors or Sonic Adventure. I think Sonic has redeemed himself lately. I grew up with him as Sega's mascot and would love to see him return to his glory.
I think its more than lived up to the hype for me, Microsoft put them in a great position to succeed. I don't think fans of Halo would have given this 343 made game the same chance had they created Halo Reach instead. Since both were being made around the same time, I think it was probably strategic by Microsoft to do it that way.
I think 343 took chances in some areas, but maintained what made Halo such a killer app in the first place. The multiplayer evolved, but it did...
I think I read an interview that said Halo 4 was made specifically for the Xbox 360, which is why it wont make it to PC or Windows 8. I can see what they are trying to say in the article, but the game wouldn't look and be as good on the Xbox 360 if they hadn't done it that way.
That is impressive, its always good to see positive news when it comes to games, instead of the negative news we tend to get lately.
I will say that I liked the game a lot, but the first four hours seemed hideously slow and repetitive. I wont ruin the story, but I bought the game with the intention of playing as Connor, the character that you play as for the first few hours wasn't interesting at all.
Even though its slowed down, 20 million is still a huge number for just two years on the market. It could potentially sell very well on Black Friday as well, it has had some okay games release this year. If they bundled it right it could do some decent numbers.
I definitely don't think it is for everyone, but I can see an audience for it, same with Wii and Move. Its really all options, and the more options there are, the better something like a game console has at selling...
Halo 4 to me is the crispest and best looking game on the Xbox 360, its really hard to judge something like graphics, but I think its definitely tops on that system.
I went to the midnight launch, then when I was out picking up more Doritos and Mountain Dew for XP, I stopped by and voted. I feel like no matter who you vote for, if you don't vote you have no right to complain at the result.
So I voted, then continued to kick butt on Halo 4. Too bad you couldn't vote for Master Chief...lol
All Halo 4 copies came with a 2 week Gold Membership, so you could at least give it a whirl. I think there are some cheaper XBL Gold Memberships online as well, I picked one up for $35 off Amazon a few months ago, I usually wont go over that price for Live.
To me, a game like Halo needs to be played online, there is just so much content there. Seems like you'd be missing out a bit on the largest part of the game, although the campaign was fun as well.
I think I am enjoying it the most because the online is really fun, and the campaign was deep, personal and really explored Cortana and Chief. The other games didn't really do that.
Also, even though its not huge on the list, this is the best looking Halo game hands down, stunning. Its the HD Halo game that I always envisioned with this generation.
Its sad for an old school gamer like myself, I used to love the big instruction books that came with classic NES, Super NES and Genesis games. Honestly the books have been getting smaller and smaller, and with the internet available and tutorials in game, it saves money and trees.
I have no problem with it.
Why does everything have to be the "killer" of something else?
Halo is its own beast, COD does fine no matter the competition its up against. Both games will sell incredibly well, but COD is on a ton of platforms and Halo 4 is on but one, so no matter how well Halo 4 does on Xbox 360, COD will sell more overall.
I think games doing well overall is great for the industry and the more quality apps the better.
You tend to see a few of these types of scores pop up here and there for a lot of great games. To me, on a scale of 1-10, a 7 is average and anything above that is great. If its below a 5 or 6, it would have to mean the game is broken.
You don't grade a game on your personal preferences, at least in my opinion you don't. So far from what I've played Halo 4 is the best in the series, but someone else might feel differently and that is okay.
Anythi...
The only reason we haven't had a reveal yet is because Microsoft wants Halo 4 and Gears Of War Judgment to sell well, and if people know a new console is definitely on the way, games tend to not do as well.
I think they also want one more really great holiday season before the bottom falls out like it did with the Wii when the Wii U was announced.
