I always liked this guy, followed him on Twitter and he would interact with fans. He never changed his GearsViking handle either, he was the one that would always do the 10x XP weekends on Gears and whatnot.
Hopefully he goes where he can actually get some input and create to his hearts content.

That is strictly your opinion, and maybe a lot of people feel that way, but nobody I know feels that way. Imagine a world where gamer's enjoy Kinect and motion controls and yet can love games like Halo, Gears, Forza and the great content on XBL...
Does it really matter what one I put first? I realize this site is conditioned to Sony's "Were for gamer's", but they are after the same meatball that Microsoft is after, they want music and movies on their device, social media, camera and motion controls.

Well this isn't surprising, the Xbox brand carries a lot of weight, especially in the states. So many people act as if it has to be entertainment or gaming, but in all honesty Microsoft has enough money to do both and do both well. They actually have the most first party studios right now, they also own a television studio and I can see this going well for them.

The funny thing is that it isn't a ton of different rumors, it's all of these places running the same damn rumor over and over again. There has been a total of 2 separate rumors, and we don't know any facts whatsoever, some of these leaks could have been smokes...
These types of articles are why gaming is falling on hard times, it's all negative stories and gamer's should have each other's backs, not wish failure on a company or anything like that.

I doubt Sony opens their wallet to Activision for those characters at this point. If the game had been really successful then it might have been a possibility, but I don't see it happening with the current version.
In my opinion they should have went out of their way to get Lara Croft, Crash and Spyro simply because those are some of the original PlayStation characters that people played as, even if they aren't exclusive.

Maybe you didn't catch it because it was text, but I was playing on the whole "rumor" BS that we see every day around here. I don't buy rumors, I buy facts. Which is why I can laugh and enjoy some of the posts we've seen recently.
Someone who games for the fun of it, pledges loyalty to no single game company, and doesn't degrade his/her fellow gamer's in any way.
How could they implement Kinect with Killer Instinct? I know that is what everyone says, but seriously, how could you pull it off? If anything it might have voice controls or something for the menu's, but if people are going to assume something, at least figure out how they'd pull it off.
They'd probably release Killer Instinct on XBLA and see how it did before going with a full new retail release.
I actually think both MS and Sony will implement this in their new consoles, which is why Sony was so cagey about the ability to play used games.
A fair deal for everyone is allowing used games to be played, but you'll need to buy an activation key for like $10. If I had to choose between that and no used games, I'd pick that for sure.
Rumor has the next Xbox reveal May 21st, could be the always on rumor was a smokescreen for used game passes, which people wouldn't have an issue with, as long as the console isn't DRM.
The first time I fired up my Xbox 360 in 2005, first game I played was Kameo, second was Perfect Dark Zero. I was like a kid all over again.
When I first played Gears Of War in 2006, I was blown away! There are really too many amazing moments to really list, I have to say in 2010 when the new 360s came out and I got mine day one, I said it was the nicest looking console ever, and I still believe that, so well done.
Get back to me in like 2-3 years and I might agree. If we were basing Wii U sales on the reason, a lot of Sony and Microsoft people would have had to step down too.
