Well between the three consoles there are a ton of exclusives that PC wont get, love my exclusives from all three console makers. I wasn't knocking PC people, just not my thing, and I was mainly talking about the nearly $1200 price tag for this particular rig, you could honestly hold off and buy all three new consoles.
Also I'd like to point out that fast parts in a PC doesn't mean it will get better performance than the new consoles, consoles don't have a hu...
For that price hold off and get a Xbox 720, PS4 and Wii U, jeez...that is pricey.
Who cares? I hadn't enjoyed a Tomb Raider game in over 10 years and I couldn't stop playing the new one.
Everyone is so concerned over "roots", games like everything else have to grow up a bit and evolve, you cant just have the same thing over and over again.
The game itself was pretty amazing, even if you think it strayed too far, the gameplay, graphics, story were all great.
I don't think it failed, I thought it was the best Tomb Raider ever, the story certainly was tops. I think perhaps they had unrealistic launch expectations, but I'm sure by the time the years up the game will have sold really well.
I remember how I felt when I played the first Tomb Raider on PS1, I had a similar feeling with this one, I didn't want to stop playing, and I did something I rarely do, which is continue playing a game after the main story is complete....
That was actually a very intelligent post, I'd also like to point out that while it is probable and smart for Microsoft to launch the next Xbox with a new Kinect, the PS4 has a similar camera that could very well launch with that console as well.
Kinect was limited in what it could do, but it still offered some fun and entertaining games, and the features in games like Forza 4, Mass Effect 3 and Skyrim in particular were pretty good.

The funny thing is I was a HUGE fan of the Forza Motorsport series, and those are still great, but the graphics and detail and fun level in Horizon is just unmatched in my opinion.
There are a lot of negative comments in this section, the last two Arkham games were fantastic, the team doing the latest one were the ones who ported over Arkham City to the Wii U, which was really well done in my opinion.
I swear, this generation of gamer's complains more than old people, if you don't want the game don't buy it, but it does sound promising and I'm going to buy it.

Doesn't Uncharted, Last Of Us, MGS4, RDR, God Of War Ascension and a lot of other games have multiplayer now though? Even games like Mass Effect, Assassins Creed and Tomb Raider all have unnecessary multiplayer modes.
Sweet! The more content for Horizon the better, this is absolutely hands down my favorite racer this generation.
People aren't even looking at the fact that Orth blatantly made fun of Microsoft fans and 360 owners in his Tweets, yes his views probably contributed, but let's not lose the fact that he was trolling Microsoft customers and I'm sure that had a lot to do with his leaving, opinions aside, you simply don't put down customers for where they might live.
Well Microsoft is bound to have a good relationship with some indie developers, I think the key to a good gaming platform is a good mix of AAA, Indie and mid range games.
Mine freezes when I'm fighting bosses and the "Saving" symbol pops up, I cant do anything for like 5 minutes, happened like 10 times or so.

This Xbox Mini is an Xbox 360 and is the rumored $99 Xbox 360 that will compete with Roku and work as a hub so if people choose to play 360 games on their 720's they have the option, honestly I'd love for Sony to come out with something similar, nobody is forcing people to buy it.

Well the most solid rumors are that the DRM thing is something that got confused with the Xbox Mini, and the 720 will not require always online to play games, and it will also play used games.
Honestly, why gamer's always tend to believe the negative right away kind of baffles me, what on earth would Microsoft have to gain by eliminating used games and making their console DRM, which effectively means close to 30 million current 360 owners would be SOL.

I actually doubt MS fired Orth for the "Deal with it" comments, more likely it was the fact that he was in heated arguments with Microsoft customers, and he was also being pretty immature by poking fun of where people lived, if I had to guess that is probably the main reason he was let go.

Mine freezes during God Of War Ascension, could be the game? I don't know anyone else who has the game, but the game freezes up when fighting bosses, but I can still pause it or choose to go back to a previous check point. Could this be an issue from the update?
Playground Games isn't a first party developer for Microsoft, not sure I heard Valve say anything like that about Microsoft before, but the first DLC for Left 4 Dead was free and had Achievements.
