Have you ever played Hulk Ultimate Destruction? That game was THE BEST superhero game until the Arkham games came out, Hulk could smash anything and everything. Amazing game, I think the franchise is in good hands.
Sounds pretty good, not sure the apprehension because Rocksteady isn't involved directly. They are using all the assets from the Rocksteady games, there isn't going to be a big drop off or anything, I'm glad current consoles are getting a ton of late content, it'll give me something to play when the inevitable game drought comes for new consoles, sort of like what the Wii U is suffering with right now.
We don't like something, so lets complain about it. That is this generations motto.
Jesus Christ........
I think the Wii U will end up being very successful over a longer period of time, I don't actually think Nintendo is competing with Sony or Microsoft, probably just doing their own thing like always.
The Gamepad is interesting and fun if they implement it correctly in games.
This game could help in Japan and certain other areas, but Nintendo wasn't even going to release the last game in North America because JRPG's aren't doing well at this time here.
It certainly looks promising, but there is no single one game that is going to be the "be all, end all" game for the Wii U, let alone the Wii U's FFVII.
I'm saying a first party studio would never bad mouth the hand that feeds them. You'll never hear one say they have issues developing for the company that owns them....
So this isn't news. That was my point.
I bought Conviction, not only that but it sold well overall and scored well on Metacritic, which seems to be the only things you care about anyway.
I had fun with the game, one of the best graphical games I've played.
Pretty sure Microsoft wants to go last, but if Sony had chosen to go last it'd be genius as well because this is N4G.
Were the Wii, DS and 3DS not successful? I think it's way too early to say off with his head just now.
I know the Japanese are people of honor and he'd probably step down if things don't turn around by next year or so, but if the Wii U had some games, it would be lighting it up, because I believe people truly want a new console, but you need new and interesting games to play on it, not ports of older games.
Nope.
That is pretty epic...lol
This is actually big news, cant help but think the new Tomb Raider might have made its mark if it released on Wii U as well. There is literally no reason not to release these games on Wii U.
Now, if Nintendo would just add an "accomplishment" system...
Agree 100%, I'm not a achievement hunter, I don't freak out about it, but I enjoy getting them and if Nintendo wants me to buy third party games they will add them.
Aren't they a Sony owned developer though? I mean I highly doubt they'd say anything negative about it. I think it's a great piece of hardware from the sound of it, but I just think it's foolish to think a studio owned by Sony would bad mouth the system.
Did any of Sony's first party studios say anything about bottlenecks with the PS3? Not that I can remember, and we all know that it had some issues with limited memory and things like that, and was overal...
This was a great game, but already beat it on Xbox 360 and got a boatload of Achievements. There really isn't a need to go through it again on Wii U. Although, if Nintendo got an Achievement system I'd be more likely to go through games again on the console.
There is no bad press for people like Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo. There is bad press for gamer's in general however, there is such a negative stigma centered around gaming and gamer's right now that I wouldn't be surprised to see an all out crash.
Just look at the hate gamer's have for each other, the studio closures, the way people blatantly hope for others to fail...it's sickening to me personally.
I could say the same thing about any PS3 exclusive my trolly friend.
I think 6 million for Gears or 8-10 million for a Halo game is much more apt for the typical Xbox 360 gamer. If you look at sales from first party games that aren't shooters or M rated, you'll know what I mean, averaging 1-2 million isn't going to inspire much confidence when you know a new Halo will get you at least 8-10 million copies sold. Why shoot for 1 million when you could get 6-10?
I think you'd be in the minority, I might agree with the new IP comment if those new IP's were really selling well or millions were clamoring for them, they just aren't.
I think Microsoft went with what the majority of Xbox 360 owners want, and what they bought the console for in the first place. I don't know a single person who didn't buy a 360 for Halo or Gears.
Microsoft gives their console owners the AAA titles that they bought the c...
The guy wasn't defending an always on console, he was saying that he liked always on and thought everything should be always on.
Not sure if it was ever made clear if he was speaking about "always on" or ALWAYS ON, where you are forced to be online in order to play something.
It'a his own opinion, so that cant possibly be wrong, I might not agree with him, but he's entitled to think what he wants, unfortunately he isn't allowed to ...
