Sony didn't deny it either, Jack said he was against it, but that doesn't mean the big wigs in Japan are against it.
Microsoft always issues the same statement for every rumor.
More rumors....... Hopefully there is at least one model of the PS4 at $399. That would be the one I'd get at launch, I cant really afford more than that.
The reason Jack brought this up was because the PS4 was dogged with the same false rumors the new Xbox is getting dogged with now.
Microsoft wouldn't let Sony and Nintendo have such an advantage, they are greedy, but not stupid.
I think it amusing how people react to rumors.
Have it on Wii U, it is definitely better than the version that came to the Xbox 360/PS3. That being said, it's not going to be worth spending $60 on if you've already bought NG3 on one of those consoles. They probably should have released Razors Edge in the first place all around.
I heard they were already working on the MMO version of that game. Would be sweet if Microsoft put out some console MMO's next generation. I heard Lionhead was working on a console MMO for the next Xbox as well.
As for the Xbox 360, I'm most looking forward to Gears Judgment and Tomb Raider, those games just look amazing!
If anyone thinks Microsoft is waiting for E3 to unveil the next Xbox you might want to look back at the history of Microsoft. Sure we wont see a ton on it and at E3 we'll see a lot of the games and things like that, but Microsoft always holds its own show to kick off their next console.
Sony's showing first wouldn't make them feel rushed and it would have been the same had Microsoft held an event first. E3 sadly only allows so much time, and Microsoft and Sony st...
I'm all for free speech, but this guy is quickly someone I turn away from when he speaks. I play all different kinds of games, not just shooters. Shooters will always be popular because a lot of them are just in the culture and the casual gamer outnumbers the core gamer.
There is room to grow of course, but it isn't exactly like he's trying to make it out in my opinion.
Could have some members of 343i working on Halo Wars 2. We have to remember how large the developer is, I mean they had people overseeing Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary while making Halo 4.
Well there is a distinct lack of advertising overall, then the originally PS3 commercials were pretty weird and didn't seem to have a point that the general public would understand. The Kevin Butler commercials were funny, but they usually strayed away from what the were trying to advertise in the first place.
I believe some games like Resistance 3 (which was a great game) suffered from poor advertising. I believe the commercial for R3 was with Kevin Butler, horses and t...
Could be a placeholder? Gamestop wouldn't give me a definitive price when I wanted to pre-order. I wouldn't think Nintendo would charge full price for a remake. I was expecting $39.99
Only the new Overrun game mode has the set classes, the rest of the MP is quite similar. I'm pretty happy that they decided to ditch the old way you swapped weapons, Y makes so much more sense and is so much easier than messing with the terrible 360 D-pad.
Edit-@aiBreeze
Yes, only the Overrun mode is class based. Not sure why people haven't seen this said already.
Really looking forward to this, have had mine pre-ordered for a while now. Congrats to Epic and MS.
Anyone who believes Microsoft will block used games and always require you to be online is foolish. Yes they are a corporation and want to make money, but XBL more than makes up any money they lose on used games.
Microsoft would alienate themselves from roughly half their market share if they did these things. Around 80 million Xbox 360's are out there, only a little over 40 million are Xbox Live members. That isn't losing a little money, that is losing half your mon...
The thing that worries me about the Vita (aside from the price) is that it is seriously lacking in 3rd party support, and some of the support it is getting is rather lackluster like the Call Of Duty games that I had high hopes for.
If there were a price drop and it looked like third party companies were going to support it well in the future, I'd buy one. As it is, I have a 3DS and I enjoy it very much, I'd love a Vita too, but the price and lack of third party suppo...
Oh yippee, someone who is trying to troll me because I buy games on the Xbox 360, guess I should go and change my pre-order to a different console because someone on the internet doesn't approve.
Already per-ordered my copy. I just hope they make the Achievements a bit more attainable, seems like it took me forever to get a couple hundred Gamerscore on a lot of Rockstars games like GTA4 and RDR.
This is stupid, it's like these rumors are put up in order to force actual comments about the systems. Just let the companies reveal what they want when they want to.
Funny thing is, these are the exact same rumors we've heard in the past, it'd be total suicide to go this route, stores like Gamestop probably wouldn't even carry the next Xbox if this were the case.
Also, there are almost 80 million Xbox 360's in the world, only 40+ million ...
Actually Sony doesn't own Blu Ray, just one of the patents along with other companies. They also owned one of the patents for DVD players, which is why the first Xbox needed a remote to play DVD's, I can see them using Blu Ray like the Wii U does, and require a remote to play Blu Ray movies.
Considering I already have 3 Blu Ray players in the house, including a PS3, I don't need another one. That way they could save on cost and people who wanted a Blu Ray player w...
Ya, not sure why I got so many disagrees, but who can really afford the next Xbox, PlayStation and games for those consoles, as well as all the current gen games coming out? I don't have an extra $3000 laying around. It sucks that I cant buy everything I want, but I have to set priorities.
I truly believe the whole idea behind the story yesterday was to try and force Microsoft to confirm or deny that a next gen Xbox even exists. Microsoft always responds the same way, with a no comment.
I honestly don't think Microsoft would risk half their users on something like this. They never even implemented Online Passes, which would be the first step towards blocking used games altogether. Before anyone brings up XBL, It's the same way with Sony, if you are a PS...
