Keep up the trolling! Hopefully this place can get cleaned up from ignorant fools like yourself this year.
Already the second article of the day about the same exact thing.
I own all the consoles right now, so it going to others didn't bother me, but as a Wii U owner it bothers me because there is no reason not to release the Wii U version as planned. Ninja Gaiden Razors Edge was released first on Wii U, then it was ported and will be released on Xbox 360/PS3 later this year, so why cant they do that with this game?
The Wii U's launch was pretty fair, but...
As a Wii U owner I don't think I'm mad about the game going multiplatform, what I'm mad about is the second delay when the game was supposed to be a launch title.
They could release it on Wii U as planned and still release it later on Xbox 360 and PS3, just like with Razors Edge. Holding off because you want to release it on every platform at the same time is just greed. Almost every Wii U owner wanted that game, it had no competition in Feb.
Actually it isn't Microsoft's fault. Ninja Gaiden Razors Edge released on Wii U first and will now release on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Ubisoft just wants to release all on all three consoles at the same time, it will end up being a mistake because most Wii U owners are hungry for new games and Rayman Legends had no competition this month.
I blame Ubisoft for being greedy and dishonest with the gamers.
Why are people treating rumor as fact? DRM doesn't work and people find a way around it. My Xbox 360 is always online, but not forced to be. I don't think Microsoft is willing to just hand over the consumers that they've won over this generation by being the only company to employ these tactics.
Looking forward to actually seeing what Microsoft has to reveal about their next console, not rumors.
I'd like some great games, looks like all of their developers are now working on the next Xbox, Black Tusk is working on 4 new core IP's, so obviously want to see what they have.
Interested to see what the beast will be able to do.
Greed is the reason for the delay plain and simple. What was promised and looking like a Wii U game for at least a little while, is now going to get lost in the next gen shuffle.
Ubisoft didn't like that the Wii U only has 3 million units sold, but every single Wii U owner I know was going to buy the game this Feb. It is just bad business in my opinion...
No, Halo is entirely its own thing. Nothing can kill off Halo aside from Halo itself. Luckily 343i developed a really great one with Halo 4, it is now my favorite in the series.
$400 is the high end of what I'm willing to spend on consoles this generation. I'm up for getting both the next PlayStation and Xbox,as long as they are that price, backwards compatible and play used games.
Lets get it started!
They should have released Rayman Legends on Wii U as planned this month, then release the ports on Xbox 360 and PS3 later this year. Releasing a game like Rayman, even though the games are good...is suicide at that time of year. Even more so now that new consoles from Sony and Microsoft are coming.
I loved Origins, but that game was discounted quickly and never got the respect it deserved in my opinion. I thought it to be one of the best platform games I've ever played.
You do realize that Wii U has sold more at launch than the 360 or PS3 right? Also, Nintendo does have a little thing called the 3DS, which is enough to sustain them pretty much by itself. Pokemon sells like crazy as well.
Nintendo isn't in any danger, the Gamecube proved that Nintendo could falter with a console and survive.
I think pretty much everyone already knew this was coming, I'm just kind of hoping that in addition to the current consoles that they have a next gen version, COD2 was one of my first purchases with my new Xbox 360 back in 2005 and I was blown away.
Well yeah, but I know a lot of people who know of the Vita (Like myself) but cant afford one. Also, since it looks like the PS4 will launch this year, can Sony afford to really promote it as much this year anyway? I would think a lot hinges on the PS4 for Sony considering they almost always sell for a loss to start.
The reason I haven't bought a Vita is price and I'm afraid that third parties are going to altogether abandon it. If they lowered the price to $199, bundl...
Did it have a better launch as in sales? I believe it did. Did it have a better launch lineup? That is more debatable and I tend to think not. I got a launch Xbox 360 way back in 2005 and within the launch window I got.
Perfect Dark Zero
Kameo Elements Of Power
Call Of Duty 2
Dead Or Alive 4
Prey
Condemned
Saints Row
Dead Rising
And all of those were exclusives, I bought a Wii U at launch and only got. ...
Let's keep it in perspective that the Wii U is still off to a better start than the Xbox 360 or the PS3 at this point. The problem is that hype will start for the new consoles from Microsoft and Sony, and Nintendo really needed to have some quality software lined up for when those other consoles launched.
What I don't understand is how Nintendo can let huge titles like Tomb Raider, Bioshock Infinite, GTA5, Metal Gear R and Crysis 3 all not come to their console.
Well I game often, played through ZombiU, New Mario, Nintendo Land and pretty much all of the others that I wanted to.
Its also probably been closer to 2 weeks now, my point remains spot on though, Nintendo has to change their tactics a bit.
First of all you can pre-order it, there is a install base of around 160 million when you combine the 360/PS3. I doubt they will release it on next gen as well, especially since those consoles probably wont be out until November and GTA5 is supposed to release in September.
Rockstar has postponed their games before, they have also released a GTA game near the end of a generation and they didn't put that version on new hardware. The thing with Rockstar is that they take t...
Nintendo needs to break some old habits with the Wii U, they need to pay for a 3rd party exclusive or get some limited timed content. Rayman Legends is a good example of a good looking third party game that might have helped push some Wii U's, instead Ubisoft decided to wait until later in the year to release it when the Wii U will have a larger user base, and also release it on the Xbox 360/PS3, which also have large user bases.
To me, the Wii U is just ensuring that the...
Nintendo never pays for exclusives, so this isn't too surprising. I believe Ubisoft really wanted to wait because they want the Wii U to build up its user base and they also wanted to take advantage of the 160 million Xbox 360/PS3 owners of the world.
Since Nintendo didn't pay for the exclusive, it doesn't make much sense to keep it exclusive. I was looking forward to it because I need something new for my Wii U, my Gamepad has been in the charging cradle for ove...
This is a pretty good deal, but I prefer the physical copy of Nintendo Land. I ended up buying ZombiU and a Pro Controller for Black Ops 2 anyway, this is a great savings for people looking for a good deal on the Wii U though.
Also, that box is so much sicker than the Wii U box I got.....not that its that big a deal, but I always save my console boxes.
