I think this time there will be many gamers who will wait for the game to release and then decide whether to buy it based on what the consensus is rather than fall for the hype like last time.

I would prefer that the graphics have been significantly 'improved' rather than 'expanded' and the gameplay is a lot more varied and fun. Bigger is not necessarily better and this franchise has a lot to prove this time round. I do hope that Ubisoft get it right.

People who make threats like these do so because they have anonymity and know that they will not be held accountable as a result. No one who is reasonable would behave in such a manner which tells you the nature of these people. They are probably the kind of people who in real life bitch about someone else constantly, make fun of people less fortunate, show bravado and arrogance when in a group but won't act in that manner when outnumbered. They are immature and are best ignored when p...

I think that the franchise should continue after a suitable break and should focus on another character, be it Chloe or someone entirely new or even on Drake's daughter as the new generation with Drake as her 'Sully'. 'Uncharted' as a title signifies something undiscovered, unexplored, even mythical and as an adventure game needs someone as charismatic as Drake to be the lead character but other than that, the rest is really down to the imagination of the writers and deve...

Why thank you for you good wishes.

Some people voted to leave because they do not like the level of immigration into the UK and thought voting to leave would reduce the numbers. Most did so because they do not like an unelected body having the power to determine the lives of half a billion people. There is nothing democratic about the present day EU. All the good intentions it started with have been eroded in a world dominated by business and ...

I suspect that the price may well go up as a result as the bankers and the EU are determined to teach the UK a lesson for daring to take what was a democratic decision. These guys have the fingers on the pulse to the extent that they know if they target PS4 gamers and increase the prices of games, the PS4 and the PSVR, the whole country will demand a referendum to cancel the previous referendum so that we can stay in the EU and ensure we pay less for our Playstat...

So people cannot read? It says on the box 'PSVR required' or 'PSVR compatible' in big letters right under the 'PS4 - Only on Playstation' banner. I mean you only have to look at the cover and gives you all the details required including 'You'll need these..' showing pictures of the PSVR in the games where it is absolutely required. The consumer has to take some responsibility here.

What I find hypocritical is that feminists don't seem to mind that Capcom is censoring something that is natural and effectively disfiguring a female character in a game.

The game shows people getting beaten to a pulp but nipples must be censored. No wonder the world is as fucked as it is.

I think we ought to just wait for the game to release before we start trying to denigrate it. I think 'No Man's Sky' will be a unique game from what we have been shown so far and while it may not excite some gamers, for many of us just exploring and discovering new things alone constitutes adventure and fun. It seems to me that the No Man's Sky allows us to play it in the way we want to within the limits of the gameplay and that alone makes the game worthwhile in my opinion....

@Hold_It

If your statement is a personal opinion, well and good - you are entitled to it but most will not agree with you. If you really believe what you are saying you really have no idea what you are talking about.

The Tomb Raider franchise has been supported the most by Playstation and PC gamers for the last 20 years. ROTR being made a timed exclusive was out of greed - that of Square Enix, and an unwillingness to invest in new IPs but to instead t...

You asked for clarification, I shall oblige.

My point is that when people bought either the PS4 or the Xbox One or both, they did so not to play games they could already play on the PS3 and the 360 but to play new games - either new iterations of favourite franchises or new IPs altogether. Yes, having backwards compatibility is fine but you must agree that gamers, all of us, whether we like Playstation or Xbox would rather play new games, game...

I guess the Xbox One has one use - playing old 360 games on it to cover up the lack of new exclusives. Of course, it is a good thing now. With only one major AAA release this year so far (Quantum Break) what else are Xbox gamers going to use the console for but to play old games?

Good luck to Adam Boyes. He is a bonnie lad, always cheerful and will be missed at Sony, I am sure. I will always remember him with Shuhei Yoshida in one of the best ads of 2013 - 'This is how you share games on PS4'. It will be talked about for years.

Good luck!

Another article that lacks credibility.

Neither of the consoles has been released as yet and while we have been told what the specs for the Scorpio are going to be, we do not know what the specs for the NEO as there hasn't even been a formal announcement about the updated console.

Even if (and this is a big 'if') the Scorpio turns out to be more powerful than the Neo, there are other important factors that will determine the success of ei...

Speculation, doom and gloom. Sigh. It is just easier to wait for the game to release and then make a decision based on what gamers say. I am sure the devs are aware of the possible pitfalls and are have done all they possibly can using the resources available to make a game that is also fun to play. Otherwise, what would be the point?

Keep the faith - I think the game will deliver on several fronts.

It may seem like one is getting a "free" copy for both systems but I would suggest the following:

- nothing is 'free', especially from a corporation such as Microsoft. We are simply not aware of what the Microsoft strategy is further down the line and the "Play Anywhere" strategy may simply be a loss-leader, for now, to try and get momentum and get gamers to commit to the UWP ecosystem. While they spin "Play An...

Yes, 'Doom' this year was a pleasant surprise and it is definitely the best shooter released this year - so far. I played the original Doom, Doom 2 and 'Thy Flesh Consumed' on PC all those years ago and used to return to them whenever I wanted that feeling that only those games could bring out - fear, panic, and overwhelming dread and captured the mood perfectly! The new 'Doom' is a return to form and is equally good for single player and multiplayer experiences and...

It's pretty difficult to run a PC on anything else these days as Windows 10 is the OS that is universally available and pushed by virtually every manufacturer of PCs whether the product is a Gaming rig, a standard home-use PC or used as work terminals in businesses. Linux which was the most obvious alternative to Windows has not become popular as it is not as simple to use for the casual user and there are so many iterations that potential users that are put off. Next year is starting to look worse for Square then, especially if games like God of War and Spiderman come out and even if these are delayed, there are just so many big releases that are due in 2017.

This was an article about Tomb Raider not Street Fighter. When the article is about the latter game, I will make my comments then.

As regards your assumption about my platform of choice, this has nothing to do with console wars, the kind that you stoke, but more to do with criticizing greedy companies that cash in for an easy payout at the expense of a good franchise and core gamers. The fact is that Xbox One gamers DID NOT support the game and...
