@S-Word
Kratos voiced by a black or non-white actor bothers you? You actually worry about HOW he sounds. Ruins your enjoyment does it?
@SonyRules
Just because Microsoft is now focussing on the PC does not mean that they own the market at present. Firstly the majority of PC gamers play on Steam and then you have services like Origin and GOG. Microsoft for all intents and purposes is trying to monopolize the PC ecosystem to the detriment of the above. They are doing this by launching new Windows features exclusively in UWP, and then telling developers that they can use these features only they submit to t...
@hvd222
You are such a troll. You spend time on these forums criticising anything Sony does by making uninformed comments and assertions that cannot be justified. You always say that such and such a game looks like it was running on PS2 or PS3 or that Sony's trailers are cgi or that the games are 2 to 3 years out. You don't like Sony and the PS4. We get it. You like Microsoft and Xbox One. We also get that. Now go get a life.
By the way, so...
The fact that Europe was sleeping when Sony had its conference makes the data suspect no matter how respected Brandwatch is. Comparisons should be like for like and therefore, take into account the above fact.
Also, just because someone 'tweets' about something does not necessarily mean it is positive for the brand as it may well be a criticism.
There are many ways to interpret data and Brandwatch's assertion reflects the flaws.
The Dreamcast had so many good games released for the console it puts the present day consoles to shame. I actually still occasionally play Jet Set Radio and Crazy Taxi on my very first Dreamcast and while the graphics are not comparable to games today, it really doesn't matter.
The console did deserve to be hugely successful but Sega had devalued the brand after the Saturn debacle and I guess the PS2 juggernaut was just too strong.

"...it's cool to say the older ESs are better than Skyrim because too many "bros" found out about Skyrim and made it "mainstream"..." ;
Really?
@Genuine-User
Well said, mate. Good and necessary responses from you and jb227 below!
@SpeakTruthAlways
Agreed, mate. I mean look at all those articles about how Sony releasing an updated console will be bad but when Microsoft does it, it becomes a game changer! Like you say, Scorpio is 18 months away and in the meantime, Microsoft still wants to part gamers from their money and sell them hardware that obviously is going to be second best in less than 2 years!
Anytime Sony does something, we get so many articles criticizing one thing o...
" made it clear that the next few games being presented where of further down the road...that's transparency."
So now it is all about transperancy. You apologists for Microsoft continue to wallow in anything the company dishes out.
So where was this transparency when Microsoft was lying about how Kinect was so integral to the Xbone infrastructure that it was impossible to consider one without the other and yet in less than a year Kinect was...
Silly article written as click bait or by a biased butthurt Xbone fan (or both!).
Microsoft has shown games in 2013, 2014 nd 2015 that are delayed, cancelled or just not talked about any longer.
Examples:
Quantum Break - announced in E3 2013 delayed until finally released Q1 2016
Phantom Dust - announced E3 2013, in development limbo at present
Fable Legends - announced August 2013 and cancelled March 2016, just before release

Exactly. Kojima states " I explained to them my approach, but they immediately said "go ahead, do what you gotta do." They offer me their trust. All the energy you need to put in the preparation of a project, I was able to focus on creating. This makes a real difference."
Time and again, Sony has given its developers the creative freedom to realize their vision and while on some occasions, the end result has not been a...
@Travis3708
Xbox Scorpio for $500 to $600 - do you not think it will cost more? In which case, better to buy a PC!
Towards the end of the article the writer says "he (Phil Spencer) emphasizes that even if Microsoft were leading the console war, he wouldn’t change his stance on this, saying that he hopes he can test that hypothesis soon"
Firstly, Phil ought to know that Sony is not going to be standing still and probably have their own strategy which includes ensuring that they stay in the lead with both games and hardware. As regards leading the console war, even if there is...
"Honestly, I'm not focused on doing things purely to outsell PS4 with our Xbox One."
Of course not Phil, you lost that battle out of the gate and as the years have gone by you have only fallen behind further.
Ooh! that hurt...not!
I guess we Sony fans are so spoiled now that with all the great games we are getting, we just want more, more! Just can't get enough. Drip feed me, baby!...er sorry, got carried away there (salivating...not frothing)
"...quite impressed..." What a salty statement that was wrenched out through clenched teeth. Polygon, as usual, downplay what reckons to be another sterling game in the vein of 'Uncharted 4' or even better. By the way, Polygon, the game is made by a Sony studio and is a PS4 exclusive so you would play it on a PS4. Dumbells.
Methinks Phil is worried about his job. He never used to be like this. I expected him to acknowledge that Sony did better this year at E3. His statement here reeks of untruth.
@Genuine-User
I guess you shut up any Xbone fanboys with that list. Good One.
@Genuine User
Some really good points. Sony is ensuring that PSVR can be enjoyed by ALL PS4 customers, those who bought the vanilla version and those who will buy NEO. Microsoft,on the other hand, wants only those who can afford Project Scorpio to enjoy "Real VR" as Phil kept on describing at the presentation.
Ultimately the best console is the one with the games and at present only the PS4 is delivering on games on a consistent basis (So far ...
The fact is that this is just all spin. Microsoft is trying to hijack the PC ecosystem by launching new Windows features exclusively in UWP, and then telling developers that they can use these features only they submit to the control of the locked-down UWP ecosystem.
At present most PC gamers use STEAM. There are other smaller services like GOG which are also popular and actually provide gaming without DRM. Microsoft wants to control PC gaming to the detriment of the abo...
