PSVR, previously known as Project Morpheus has been in the news for over 2 years now and anyone with a modicum of interest in the technology knows that the camera is an essential part and from the outset, Sony has stressed that it is a requisite. Now the fact is that many people already have it and the $399 release is aimed at them with a separate bundle available for those without the camera and Move controllers.

Sounds like someone who is just trying to go against the ...

Nice trailer, probably a really good game but considering how Playstation owners were made to wait a year for a franchise they have supported unreservedly for 20 years, we ought to wait until this hits the bargain bins and get it for $25 to $40. After all, that is what we would normally pay for a year old game. What a few more months when we were forced to wait nearly a year? There are so many new games coming out during the Holiday season that deserve our money!

Title should read:

"China gets PlayStation VR in October, but will cost more despite having fewer games"

People kill people and Hitler never played video games. I am sure that the majority of gamers play all kinds of games, some even violent, without ever having felt the need to buy and gun and kill innocent people. Games are just as likely to prevent violence by allowing people an avenue to vent their frustrations. My best friend is disabled and loves playing shooters because they distract him from his physical problems and help him with his depression Rather than blaming games, the politic...

Wow! Gamingbolt is known to be pro-Microsoft and goes out of its way to ensure that there is always something negative about Sony on an almost daily basis.

The launch of the PSVR is just over two months away and anyone interested in accuracy in journalism would have known by now that Sony has already postponed the launch so as to ensure that there is enough stock to meet the demand in ALL markets and avoid the kind of launch that Oculus Rift had. Sony has already stated th...

I am a fan of the franchise and have supported it since it started 20 years ago on Playstation. I did not appreciate Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics taking what was by 2014 a multiplatform game available to ALL console players regardless of whether Playstation or Xbox and making it a timed exclusive just for Xbone gamers. I feel that we have been made to wait unnecessarily for a game that ALL of us could have enjoyed last year because of SE's greed and Microsoft's unwillingness to ...

Sony purchased the rights to Spider-Man from Marvel at a time when Marvel was in financial difficulties. Marvel sold rights for some of their biggest characters like X-Men and FF to 20th Century Fox and Spider-Man to Sony. This is why we have not seen any movies for these super-heroes from Marvel Studios but rather from Fox and Sony respectively. It is only recently that Sony and Disney came to an agreement so that Spidey could be part of the current Marvel film universe and these negotiat...

All that happens with each new trailer is that I get impatient to play this game! This is just drip-feed torture. Inevitably there may be an anticlimax but nevertheless, I am looking forward to this.

The game has sold less than 1.25m on Xbone. Considering that SE stated that sales of 5m on the first release of the rebooted franchise in 2013 were 'not sufficient', I hardly think that the present level of sales can be considered satisfactory. Also bear in mind that according to Microsoft, there were about 18m Xbone consoles out there at the time ROTR was released.

Listen to Foxtrot - he is schooling you on the truth. This is not about hating a game you like but, rather, making sure you have got your facts straight.

($40 is a price that I and many others consider fair for ROTR, as it is a year-old game that SE and Crystal Dynamics effectively withheld from the largest fan base and loyal customers. As I have said before, we were made to wait nearly a year for no other reason other than so that the greed of SE and Crystal Dynamics could be sated by a cheque from Microsoft for timed exclusivity so there is no reason why we can't wait a little longer for the game to be reduced in price. You could get...

Despite being smaller than Microsoft and now being worth less than Nintendo, Sony fans are enjoying all the games that are presently available and those that soon will be on the PS4 and the PSVR. This is what most gamers enjoy - the games, not getting excited about how much their favourite company is worth or what new initiative is going to be launched next. We leave those pleasures to Microsoft fans who do not have the games to play with but so many new initiat...

@R00kieMonster

Anything to justify your worship of Microsoft!

This is an article about Nintendo and the fickleness of investors who now value the company higher than they did last week on the back of Pokeman GO but you are still able to take whatever Microsoft business strategy is now (the umpteenth change in direction since 2013) and their new focus on the 'Play Anywhere' initiative and compare it favourably against a company that is, by any meas...

Ultimately, only games matter. We don't buy a console to just admire it but to play games and as long as the Playstation brand continues to deliver exclusive and multiplatform games, the console will remain popular regardless of what happens with the Xbox. If Microsoft does behave as their pals at Gamingbolt suggest, so what? Good for them. Meanwhile, Playstation gamers will be enjoying games on the PS4, PSVR and Neo. Everyone is happy!

SE and Crystal Dynamics were happy to ignore Playstation fans who have supported the franchise from the beginning when they were offered money to turn ROTR into a timed exclusive for the Xbone. Playstation gamers have been forced to wait a year to play the game so I suggest that we can wait a few months longer and buy the game when it is dropped into bargain bins. After all, with so many current and new releases to look forward to, why should fans who were unimportant a year ago be expected...

@XMarkstheSpot

Unlike Sony, all Microsoft does is flood the web with spin on various subjects with the exception of games since there are no exclusives on Xbox One. Wth the one AAA release you have had so far this year, you need all the backwards compatibility you can get and then some.
