Most of the comments about Driveclub VR went on about 'feeling sick' and 'nausea' but I have to say, apart from the first time I raced, I haven't really had any issues and I must have been on Driveclub VR about 3 to 4 hours per session (excluding breaks), at least twice a day for the last 7 days. I suspect that Driveclub could have had better resolution but between trying to get the base game sorted out and their internal issues which have led to ...

Gunjack is great fun, is longer than I thought it would be and is only £7.99. I tell you, if the mid-level PSVR is this good, just imagine what it will be two-three years down the line. EVE:Valkyrie is also worth getting. The space battles had me screaming like I was 18 again (all those years ago, sniff). Driveclub VR does not look as good on VR but is still fun and will look better, I suspect, on the PS4 Pro. This is the closest we can get in gaming to actually sitting in a car and...

Space battles in EVE: Valkyrie are so good in VR! I was screaming like I was 18 again! Since Thursday, I have been averaging 12 to 16 hours a day and my week off finished yesterday (Weds) and I am still up at 4 am on Thursday playing DriveClub VR! I am going to get fired at this rate...

If the PSVR is this good now, I can't wait for the PS4 Pro and then PS5 and PSVR 2!...

I was playing XCOM 2 and Mafia III prior to the release of PSVR and they hav...

I am looking forward to this. I have been missing Nintendo since the Wii and I hope the NX will do the trick! It would be great if Red Red Redemption 2 is coming to NX as this means that Nintendo has major third party support but it may ll be that they are just separate announcements.

Looks a bit like 'Generals' (C & C). If it is anything like that game or 'Red Alert', this game is worth waiting for!

No. Only a competitor or its 'spin-creators' would even suggest such a thing.

Sony has given the consumers a lot of choice this holiday:

Casual or occasional gamer - try the PS4 Slim

Want VR? - buy the PSVR and if you don't already have the PS4, either the PS4 or the one that you really ought to get, the PS4 Pro.

Hardcore gamer - Upgrade to the PS4 Pro or stay with the original PS4.

Tho...

I doubt the next iteration of the PSVR will be any sooner than late 2018 or 2019 and may well be released alongside the PS5. Right now PSVR is very good and the PS4 Pro will help but at some point Sony is going to have to look at the issues with tracking and calibration with perhaps new accessories instead of the existing camera, and to improving the resolution much more. Driveclub VR, as good as it is, looks nothing like its non-VR version and the resolution deficiency is most obvious with...

Perhaps it is time gamers learnt to do without that which they desire the most in order to ensure that companies like Activison do not get away with such practices. If you feel that strongly about the Modern Warfare Remaster, don't buy IW to play the older game. If enough gamers do this, the message will hit home. Don't buy the game if you are unsure of the quality or the gameplay. Wait for the reviews or try it yourself after it is released and then make your decision. OR if you want...

The whole point of beta testing is to test the game in real world conditions by the intended audience. Usually, such testing is carried out sooner rather than this late so that if any changes are necessary, there is time to apply them. The PS4 beta release of Infinite Warfare was a beta in name only as I hardly think 3 or 4 weeks from a fixed release date much will be done about whatever issues one may find unless the developers were already aware of these or they will be fixed on a Day One...

Right so giving consumers some choice maybe oversaturation? Sounds like spin from a competitor. If one wants the most powerful console this holiday or just upgrade their existing console, buy the PS4 Pro, if you want to run VR, buy the PSVR as well and if you just want a console for casual or occasional use, the PS4 Slim could do nicely. The PSVR runs with the PS4 but will be better with the PS4 pro. Easy choices, no stress.

Sorry to hear this. Tanaka-san was far too young. Peace to him and his family.

Competition is essential to ensure that each brand tries to do better and the end the beneficiaries will be consumers - or at least that is the idea. This certainly worked in the last generation where the Xbox 360 was released a year before the PS3 and managed to gain momentum which was aided further by the high price of the PS3 which incorporated the very latest disc technology. It took Sony a couple of years but investing in some solid gaming IPs from their stable of excellent first party...

I have been averaging about 12 hours daily since Thursday (I took a week off) and I have now got just two days left and I am getting depressed at the thought I will only be able to play during the weekends and for a couple of hours during the weeknights! PSVR is addictive!

I bought the six core games including Rigs:Mechanized Combat, EVE;Valkyrie, Driveclub VR, Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, Sports Bar VR and Batte Zone and also downloaded a host of free demos and shorter game...

I think that Sony strategy now will be that all games from PS4 onwards will be playable on the PS5 as otherwise, the new console will not get many takers especially if they have upgraded from the PS4 to the PS4 Pro. The advantage here with using the X86 route was that the processors and graphics capabilities can improve constantly while the software developmental tools can work across the various upgrades. What this means is that effectively, there is always a constant market for the latest...

"The best part is the fear and uncertainty it has created in the opposite camp."

Only in your mind. Boredom is more like it. The 'opposite camp' says very little about Xbox and follow their own strategy unlike Microsoft that is always reacting to what Sony does. Take, for example, VR. Microsoft was not interested in the technology and was singularly pursuing Hololens. However, now Scorpio will allow Xbox (or should I...

I am one of those who really likes PSVR and have done since I tried a demo over a year ago. I got mine on Thursday and I have played on it non-stop (apart from the usual - to eat, sleep and ablutions) and in my opinion it is the best VR experience as it is the easiest to setup, it is the most affordable, particularly if you already have the Move controllers as well as the camera, and there is a wide variety of software that has already been released and i...

The 'Kitchen' demon from Resident Evil 7 is really good and very immersive. If this is the kind of experience that awaits us when it releases, the game and PSVR are going to succeed.

There are some tracking issues with the PSVR and the image will drift, more so on some games than others and Sony needs to issues some updates fast. However, since Thursday noon when the PSVR was delivered to now (Sunday morning, 9.30am) I have played about 36 hours in total and I ca...

"the region is the number one battleground for success in the Western market"

Considering that more people outside the USA buy consoles, and Europe is by far the biggest market, the above statement is false, self-serving designed to fit into a narrative which is totally out of proportion to the actual achievement.

When one sells a console that cheap and on the back of so much spin and in the one country where Microsoft should do better anyway as...

Driveclub VR did make me feel nauseous initially and this was the first game I played on the PSVR but after playing Rigs and Eve Valkyrie, I have been on Driveclub VR all night and this morning and I feel fine so maybe it is a case of getting used to it. Either that or I was not really sick from Driveclub VR in the first place and it was all in my head from reading the various reviews and experiences!

PSVR is just so good!
