Maybe you think that it is not worth more money and you regard the improvements as just "a touch more..." or "slightly bumped...." but these are just your personal opinions and not worth anything more than what GTgamer, I or anyone else for that matter think or feel about the improvements. I think the improvements are a lot more than 'just a touch' or 'slightly bumped' and if every Sony exclusive released to date shows ...

er...one can only have more money than sense if they are willing to pay £432 for a game that would cost no more than £69. For that price, they would have been able to buy a PS4 PRO together with the Legacy edition and maybe still have some change for a Mars bar.

Dumb is as dumb does...

Another article by the mouthpiece of Microsoft, Gamingbolt, whose bias is so complete that it creates situations out of thin air in order serve the message it wants to spread. 'Reductive reasoning'? Reductive reasoning tries to show that a statement is true by suggesting that only an absurd or false result can follow from any denial of such reasoning. I doubt Sony, even after the runaway success of the PS4 considers its position so unassailable that buoyant pre-orders of the PS4 Pr...

One of the main reasons for the failure was greed. The developers charged full price for a game that lacked content because most of it was held back to sell as DLC or for microtransactions and most gamers rejected this and rightly so.
If the failure serves as an example to other developers and stops them from similar behaviour, then I am glad Evolve failed.

I don't mind this writer giving us another article on a console (Scorpio) that is not out yet and won't be for a year. What I do mind is that he tries to compare it with a console (PS4 Pro) that is out in less than a fortnight, over a year earlier and then conveniently ignores that it too offers 4K gaming and VR functionality, the latter by all accounts being very good with a headset that is designed to work with the PS4 and the PS4 Pro. In fact, if anything, the PSVR is the VR head...

Dumb article...Sony has been leading in global sales from the very beginning since the PS4 and The Xbox One came out nearly 3 years ago. Xbox One has never once led the PS4 at any time since the latter arrived globally. The only country where the Xbox has OCCASIONALLY won has been the USA and even that has been just the last 3 months THIS YEAR by small margins and on few occasions when the Microsoft console has been sold very cheap with free games or in November Black Friday sales.

Makes me want to buy the PS4 Pro if I had not already ordered it....

Sony should give every PS4 Pro customer a disc with all their marketing ads from PS1 onwards right up to this one. One could relive the glory days of the Playstation right up to the glory days of the Playstation (!)

Duh...This is not a 'Sony' manufactured product - it is a third party licensed item. Poor.

Unlike some anti-Sony bull that is drip-fed in some of the articles on this and other sites, the facts are that Sony has the most games to offer, offers the most choices to gamers with the PS4 Pro, PS4 Slim and the PSVR, will support their consoles the longest, gives gamers more new IPs and games than any other console and offers the most powerful console this year and certainly for the next year and is the only console manufacturer that has offered VR from the start rather than jumping on th...

This article ignores reality and presents a view that is completely untrue. PSVR delivers almost everything it has promised and, in my opinion, more - tons of fun. I have been playing on it for nearly a fortnight now and Battlefield 1 remains untouched. After a dose of VR, I am finding it hard to go back to normal gaming.

The person who wrote this article is NOT being honest and should be ignored.

I agree with the comments by 'pcz' below - the Switch is more likely to be a success if Nintendo is completely focussed on it and intends to cease 3ds. Otherwise, Nintendo might as well as just created a console that was similar to those by Sony and Microsoft and rooted within the living room. I cannot understand why Nintendo would even suggest that the Switch is not replacing the 3ds or the Wii U and this position is daft! I hardly think that Nintendo is going to develop games for...

@sammarshall102

You are an Xbox fanboy who needs to put down Sony at every opportunity in order to feel good about your favourite console which has very little to offer this year other than a 4K UHD player which Phil keeps harping about as though this will make gaming better and because there is nothing else with which to look favourable against the vanilla PS4 let alone the PS4 Pro or the PSVR!

I do not care if it is not as powerful as the PS4, Pro or Scorpio. As long as it displays 1080p and has all the Nintendo first-party games I am looking forward to and some third party exclusives, I will be happy! I can satisfy my 4K and VR gaming on the PS4 Pro or Scorpio.

@Goldby

Regardless of whether it is some minor stuff or not, multi-platform titles should be left alone. I don't think Sony should even be wasting money on COD. It serves little purpose and does not really advance the cause of either console. No matter how much or how little is spent, it is better to use it for first party exclusives that actually do shift consoles as well as nurture loyalty from gamers. Hey, you may disagree, it is just an opinion.

If Sony managed to sell out what was actually available in 3 days, I fail to understand how this is not good for PSVR. It is obvious as one can see from sales in Europe and the USA that if more units are available, they would be snapped up. Haters and XBox fanboys would like to besmirch PSVR for no other reason than the fact that THEY don't have it and their favourite console could not be bothered with VR until it was obvious that the PSVR (Project Morpheus as it was known then) was get...

This year and the next 6 months are wonderful! First the PSVR, then the PS4 Pro and finally in March, Nintendo Switch. This is gaming heaven and between this three, I got all my gaming needs fulfilled. I have missed Mario and co since the Wii (well, really Gamecube) and I want March to be here, tomorrow!

I hope Nintendo get the first-party release schedule sorted out so that every three months at least there is a release. I hope third-party devs will give the Switch a ...

I hope Sony did not pay for this early access as it is a WASTE of money. I would rather they spent the money towards new first-party games or setting it aside for the development of PS5 and the next PSVR. Also, this is a shitty practice as multi-platform games should be accessible to all formats at the same time.

I think Sony has learned some bad practices from Microsoft from the last generation. Just because it worked for them does not make it right.

To date, I have been playing Driveclub VR with the Dualshock but I am considering investing in a decent steering wheel now that I have grown to love the game in VR. A race seat? Is this expensive?

Like you, I am an 'old hand' at gaming (since 1984) and you are absolutely right - VR has given gaming a real shot in the arm. Although I play most decent games, until now, the only times I really used to get excited were when there would be stellar releases like Uncharted, The Last of Us, games like these. These are now so few and far between but VR is definitely 'more'. I am surprised but pleased that Sony managed to get to that sweetspot betw...
