Surprising. Anyway, good for Ubi. Is the game any good?

I have played both and I prefer Horizon. The gameplay has more depth and it just looks stunning. Sony and GG have hit this out of the park again.

This game is simply one of the best released on the PS4. A sequel? Definitely!

Silly article - if one wants to play the games that are exclusive, just get the console. Done.

Yeah...keep deluding yourself! I guess you are hoping that one day you will wake up to another reality where the Xbox reigns supreme. Not going to happen. Not unless Phil & Co start making new games and lots of them. This year alone, Sony has releases 6 major exclusives including Horizon: Zero Dawn, NiOH, and Yakuza 0 and it is only March. No contest.

The game came out in March 2014 and was NOT a launch title...

The game still holds up and on the PS4 PRO looks stunning.

As long as Sony is delivering first class exclusives, the Playstation will continue to dominate. The main reason Playstation is in the lead this generation is because of the goodwill Sony has built up over the last two decades as a result of always delivering games each generation and in 2017 has once again shown why the Playstation dominates. In the first two months alone there are 6 major releases unavailable anywhere else and with releases like Yakuza 0, NiOh and Horizon: Zero Dawn, the ...

In an alternate reality maybe...in this world, the PS4 has tons of games, new ones being released frequently and so many coming in the future. I can always play my old games on a PS3 and I can buy a dedicated UHD player that will do the job better, but I can only play the games I want on the PS4/PRO...!

Most of the exclusive games coming out this year from Sony were those that were announced shortly after the release of the PS4 over 3 years ago and many of the games have been in production a lot longer. While we have had some stellar releases like Infamous:Second Son, Bloodborne, Uncharted 4, within the last 3 years, 2017 is the year when the cream of the crop are arriving. We have already had Tales of Berseria, Gravity Rush 2, Yakuza 0, Kingdom Hearts 2.8, NiOh and Horizon:Zero Dawn, King...

Sony's studios are showing others how it should be. For me this generation, there have been 3 games so far that exemplify how much better they are at getting the most out of the platform and how much they are improving on an annual basis. Starting with Infamous: Second Son, then moving to Uncharted 4 and now onto Horizon: Zero Dawn, these games tower above all others with regard to graphics. I suspect the next level will be shown by God of War 4. It just keeps getting better and bette...

Sigh! Why does one game need to be raised at the expense of another? Nintendo's franchise has deep loyalty within gamers and those like me will play it regardless of what else is released around it. In fact, I will be buying and enjoying both Horizon and Zelda and neither is a killer of the other. Gamers are savvy enough to know what they are getting and what to expect from each and I suspect that both games will appeal to hard-core and casual gamers alike.

Zelda ...

Gosh....these are just the exclusives. Not enough time. I have bought 12 games since October 2016 of which 6 are PS4 exclusives, 4 of which came out this year in the first 6 weeks alone. Sony is on the march to making this the best year of this generation so far.

As a gamer, I have really enjoyed the introduction of the PS4 PRO and the PSVR and the icing on the cake for me is that I will be able to play Nintendo games again using the Switch from March 3rd.

Those days are definitely gone....Sega is better off using the IPs it owns and making games for all formats. Even as good as the Dreamcast was and despite the many excellent games that were released for the console, the console failed to attract the kind of sales it really needed in 1999/2000. This was partly due to the popularity of the Playstation and the imminent arrival of the PS2, the entrance of Microsoft into the console market and finally Sega's own missteps around the Saturn wh...

There is no reason why GG cannot come back to Killzone after Horizon has been released and it is likely that this studio too also has multiple teams working on parallel projects, one of which might well be another Killzone game. If this is the case, I hope it is more in keeping with Killzone 2, as opposed to 3 or Shadowfall.

With Naughty Dog busy now on The Last of Us 2 and Sucker Punch rumoured to be working on a brand new IP, I also would not mind seeing what GG could do...

I love my PS4, my PS4 PRO, my PSVR but most of all I love playing all the games that have been released since Q4 2016. A dozen huge games and not enough time.

I am on vacation at present and playing 18 hours a day for a whole fortnight and I still have only got through 6 of the 12 so far since November (I mean playing to enjoy, not speed). Yakuza 0 and NiOh are taking up all my gaming time and I still cannot get enough of these two games! Resident Evil 7 on PSVR and PS4...

Yakuza 0 was the perfect start to what promises to be a stellar year for the PS4. The game is the best of the series in my opinion, perfecting and improving all that has come before and allowing newcomers to the franchise to jump on by making 0 a prequel.

There is just so much to enjoy with the game, some much to do, I bet I will be playing this for months...in between all the other releases. There is a lot of wackiness and tongue-in-cheek behaviour that adds to the fla...

On the decline, yes, but far from dead. The fact is that an annual release schedule is bound to affect sales and sales figures. A lot of gamers who would eagerly wait for a new release every 2 to 3 years and purchase it on Day One will not give the same priority to a game that they know will be discounted within 2 to 3 months and soon make way for a new iteration a few months later. Some will choose to avoid one release and wait for the next.

COD Infinite Warfare was ...

Resident Evil 7 is best played on the PSVR. Period. The experience has been awesome. I cannot imagine going back to normal gaming on the PS4 but have to...to continue playing Yakuza 0. The game on PSVR also plays better on the PS4 Pro - the game looks better.

Clearly, the suits at Microsoft tend to think that the type of games that have sold the most in the past are the ones that need to be supported and championed which also shows that these guys are not gamers at heart. This generation there have been some really poor choices made at Microsoft which is why Xbox finds itself in a situation where it is having to start off a new generation with Scorpio after lagging way behind PS4 with the Xbox One and One S. There appears to be no one at Microso...
