Well, I prefer physical media as do all my mates. Digital is fine for smaller indies and older games re-released on a new console but many of us prefer physicals discs because the download times for games in places like Wales and Scotland are abysmal. Unless you live in one of the major cities in the UK, or by some miracle have Virgin Media in your area, downloading any AAA game is a real chore. Even now, just an hour outside Glasgow, a friend of mine has the best download speed of 1mb and...

@Bigpappy

Ghost may well be a fun co-op experience and therefore continue to sell well but most gamers who have played Persona 5 will agree with me that it is not only a good game but, in fact, a great game! It may not tickle the fancy of some or even most UK gamers but but its high review scores have nothing to do with hype but more with the fact that it is one of the most fun, stylish and exciting games to come along this year.

There are many Japanese ...

Persona 5 alone probably shifted more PS4 and PS4 PRO units than the total number of Xbox consoles sold this year. Imagine then Horizon: Zero Dawn, Yakuza 0, NiOH, Nier:Automata, etc, Etc, doing similar. No brainer, mate. You just started this so that everyone would repeat the same: PS4.

This is wishful thinking. Microsoft hopes that the 'most powerful' description will shift millions but then what? While all the great exclusives will be available on the PS4, and the PS4 PRO what will Xbox gamers have? Multiplatform releases and the usual Forza, Halo, Gears with a very few new IPs thrown in. So sure, Microsoft may well sell quite a few Scorpios but I doubt any more than what they are selling at present unless the company starts creating new IPs.

If the Scorpio is $700 and Sony and supporting 2nd Party and 3rd Party devs still keep churning out PS4 exclusives the way they are at present, Scorpio has no chance. The only chance Microsoft has is to release the console at $400 with many new exclusives that are not available on PC. If by some miracle Scorpio does catch on, I expect Sony will be announcing the PS5 soon enough so any gain by Microsoft will be short lived.

The problem has always been games - Microsoft s...

Negotiating to get enemies Persona has to be learned initially but gamers will get the hang of it after a couple of goes and it is soon a breeze. The first time out there is a fair amount of handholding so that gamers will get the gist of it. The game is a real blast!

I have been playing Persona 5 since April 1st when when my pre-order turned up in the mail 3 days early and it is one of the best games this year! After Yakuza 0, Horizon, NiOh and Nier Automata, Persona 5 is another PS4 exclusive that is huge in size, just so much fun and a really cool blast.

Choosing which Persona to negotiate with and capture is key to creating even stronger Persona. The opening sequence is really good and the initial story at the school well designed ...

Damn, the PS4 is getting all the great games! Greatness is no longer awaited, greatness is here and with all the games yet to come, here to stay.

Er... does Forbes realise how much credibility it loses with crap like this?

Every gamer knows that Sony is KILLING Microsoft every which way with exclusives and has a formidable lineup for the next two years which is unassailable unless Microsoft suddenly decided to invests heavily in its own exclusives and brand new IPs and rushes some games for release. God of War, Spiderman and FF7 Remake alone will ensure that PS4 Pro sells millions. Even a title like Yakuza which ...

If I have one wish at present it is that there is a genuine successor to the Dreamcast, made by SEGA. In fact, if they could just update a version of the original Dreamcast with modern tech and wi-fi, etc. and ensure the graphics were at a PS4 level and then gave up modern day versions of all the IPs Sega had at the time, I would never leave my home and would be playing on Dreamcast 4 for 16 hours a day. I know this will never happen and thankfully, in addition to the PS4 Pro and the Switch...

Better late than never. I, for one, will give this game a chance and I hope it turns out to be as good as the first two Call of Duty games on PC and then the Call of Duty Games on console such as COD 3, ' Finest Hour', 'The Big Red One' and 'World at War'. Some of the missons in the first two games and 'Finest Hour' were just awesome and I hope the devs have bothered to look at what came before to inspire something better.

This is a huge o...

I suspect many Japanese devs will look at the Scalebound debacle and think twice before working with Microsoft. Phil has been saying the same things since he took over and the result has been that this is Sony's best year and it follows 2016 when Sony released the PS4 Slim, PSVR and PS4 Pro and games like Uncharted 4, The Last Guardian and a host of JRPGs. This year alone Sony has had 6 exclusives and March isn't even over yet. The fact is that the more Phil says, the less they ac...

I am speaking for myself. Every comment here has a personal opinion. Just because you and I say something does not necessarily mean it will be. All I said was that lousy net speeds in the UK will ensure that many of us will stay with blu-ray for as long as possible. Unless one has Virgin Media (which is not available everywhere in the UK, especially in the countryside and most of Scotland), streaming and downloading digital games is problematic. As regards my ...

Where can I find the 'little box' you mention. I can only use my DC on an older telly at present.

I still play Dreamcast games using the original Dreamcast I purchased. There are about 5 games that I always get a yearn to play and once a year, I do. They are Jet Grind Radio (aka Jet Set Radio), Ecco, Crazy Taxi 1 & 2, Shenmue 1 & 2, and Grandia. However, there are so many others that I dip into just to for a few hours here and there. Admittedly the graphics now pale compared with even the PS3 let alone the PS4 but the games are just so good that after a few hours, the graphics...

And this is why I prefer physical media for games. Things like this coupled with the lousy net speeds offered in the UK by the likes of BT, and Sky are the reasons why going fully digital is still going to take years.

I am looking forward to this. I have started playing the original trilogy for the 5th time and will revisit Uncharted 4 just in time to welcome Lost Legacy. With all the games Sony is releasing at present, it will take until the end of the year to get to Lost Legacy.

The response to Lost Legacy has been such that I suspect it was bumped up from a dlc for UC4 to a stand alone game and now the game has its own identity. I hope this game is such a success that Naughty Do...
