It seems Square Enix is determined to run Tomb Raider into the ground. It was bad enough with the last game that the company lost so many sales and the goodwill of most Playstation gamers with the greed-backed decision to make the game a timed exclusive for Xbox One (the game did not sell as well as was expected at all on that platform and by the time it was released a year later on the PS4, the game had lost much of the appeal a brand new game would have). Both games have been popular in t...

With over 2 million sold, PSVR is definitely the leader now of the three systems that came out last year (Vive and Oculus) obviously aided by the fact that it is the only one for consoles at this point and has a huge potential with over 70 million PS4 consoles sold to date.

At this time there are many games and demos to enjoy on PSVR but we need more full game AAA experiences. As a whole, however, playing Resident Evil 7 and Skyrim on PSVR has been fun, and Firewall looks ...

Kojima-san, ignore the idiots. Travel, enjoy life all you want because you deserve it. Deliver the game as and when it is ready or when you feel it is ready.

Playstation dominates because all of the 4 consoles to date have had serious exclusives, loads of them, and all gamers know that Sony always supports the outgoing hardware. Games for the PS3 were still coming out well into the life of the PS4. In fact, most gamers trust Sony with gaming - that each Sony console will have loads of exclusives throughout the life of the console and when the next generation arrives, Sony will not abandon the outgoing hardware overnight as Microsoft has done twi...

Don't be concerned...be happy! Playstation gamers have so many games again to enjoy. May every year henceforth be like 2017!

Ah...Gamingbolt, the dolt mouthpiece of Microsoft. Sony had already stated from the outset that there would be few announcements of any new games but that there would be an emphasis on 'catching-up' with already announced releases and their developers. Paris had the last of the major announcements this year. PSX is meant for Playstation gamers and supporters and most of us knew what to expect this year and enjoyed it nevertheless.

Paris was Sony's main show ...

As much as Sony is in the lead this generation, primarily due to the many exclusives but also to the manner in which they launched the PS4 as well as the fact that Sony has always delivered the games, at present the Xbox X is the console to beat. Sony cannot allow the preception that the PS4 Pro cannot do multiplatform games as well as the X to persist for too long. A year or two is fine and the PS4 can still be carried on the backs of the many exclusives comi...

Guerilla elevated itself from a good studio to one that now compares to Naughty Dog after it developed Horizon: Zero Dawn. I think Sucker Punch appears to be on the same quest with Ghost. The game looks stunning, and the premise of battling against overwhelming odds is one to get most gamers looking forward to playing The Ghost of Tsushima as soon as possible. Can't wait.

I suspect the many releases next year such as God of War, Spiderman, Ghost of Tsushima, and more are the beginning of the end for this generation and that either next year or the year after, the next iteration of the Playstation console will be announced. Any new IPs or development of new games starting this year are probably for the next console and games such as Death Stranding and Final Fantasy 7 Remake will pushed to become the first releases for the PS5. Given the architecture adopted ...

Hmm...This article is clearly written to promote Microsoft;'s strategy as the defacto standard when in fact Microsoft has failed on numerous occasions this generation primarily because it has no exclusives. This article tries to present the very reason why Sony is successful with the PS4 (and all of the previous Playstation consoles) as being something that is no longer popular. Laughable. Microsoft and its supporters will do anything to show that 2 + 2 is anything but 4.

First, the PS4 came out in 2013, the Switch in 2017, 4 years later. The PS4 has sold nearly 70 million consoles and is in the last third of its life, the Switch is at the start of its life and will be around for at least 5 years or even more with upgrades. Even if the Switch starts to sell more than the PS4/Pro each month as on now, this should be expected and reasonable. However, the one reason it may not is that the PS4 has some huge games coming next year and all of them are system sell...

Laughable. Give up a console that has more genuine exclusives, many of which are the best games on the market? Not a real gamer, but a shill for Microsoft wrote this article in my opinion.

Also, the Xbox One X is the start of a brand new generation masquerading as an upgrade since Microsoft is unwilling to admit that it has failed to beat Sony this generation. Leaving aside the debate about why would they even bother to have such an attitude, it's clear that Microsof...

Another Forbes article touting the Xbox One X over the PS Pro. "It's the only console you can play Forza, Halo and Gears of War on". The PS4 is the only console on which you can play over 21 exclusives this year alone including Uncharted: Lost Legacy, 2 Yakuza games, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Nioh, Nier: Automata, Persona 5 and more. The Xbox One cannot even be spoken of in the same breath when it comes to exclusives. Most of the other reasons given in the article are subjective I...

The Japanese don't care about power. They care about gaming and PS4 and Switch have the most games the Japanese care about.

Having Platinum Games make a game for them was the best way Microsoft could have started chipping away at the Japanese market but after what happened, I doubt any Japanese developer would work with Microsoft without thinking twice about it.

This is what Microsoft and every Xbox fan keep saying but the Xbox One X is not a fresh as the jump from the Xbox One and One S is far greater than what Sony did from PS4 to the Pro. The Xbox One S was a 'refresh' - the One X is a 'do over' or a 'do again' at the very least and a 'start the new gen' if we are being honest. It is being dressed up as an upgrade as it plays current, previous and past games and because there are no exc...

Gamingbolt up to its usual tricks - talks about an issue to fan the fire and then pretends not to be involved. The PS4 is good enough for all the many exclusives its got!

Another Forbes love fest for Xbox. The X is the third try at a console that can challenge the dominance of the PS4, and has arrived 4 years into a generation that is entering its last year or two. Microsoft has done nothing but focus on all the wrong things and the X, while providing some justification for dropping another $500 on a Microsoft console, is too late and covers up the real reason why Xbox cannot compete against the PS4 in the long run - the refusal of the management to invest i...

Gamers who want to play multiplatform games on the most powerful console will purchase the Xbox One X regardless of whether they already own a PS4, PS4 Pro or the older Xbox One consoles. However, if they want to play any of the Playstation's many exclusives and also want a console that can deliver 4K albeit not as good as, then the PS4 Pro is the best option. Also, Sony just has too many exclusives to be affected by the Xbox One X at this late point in the generation. If you want to p...

Good for Microsoft. Third time lucky and Xbox gamers finally have a console they can be proud of. As for Sony, the company should continue to do its own thing which is why it has been so successful for a long time and why it is the most popular console this generation. I have been buying and playing PS4 games each month this year and I have still so many to unwrap and just try let alone finish and having Switch doesn't help. With Mario, Zelda, Splatoon and other Nintendo releases, and...

You could on the PS3. No console offers that now unless Nintendo decides to do something next year. Only PC offers unpaid access to gaming online.
